Abstract

Bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan  tingkat keterampilan proses sains dasar siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing dan penemuan bebas dengan siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA, di SMAN 1 Dewantara Kreung Geukuh Aceh Utara yang terdiri dari 8 kelas XI IPA, jumlah siswa kelas XI IPA sebanyak 240 siswa, sedangkan sampel penelitian yang berjumlah 90 siswa yang terbagi ke dalam 3 kelas paralel dengan jumlah siswa pada masing-masing kelas 30 siswa. Metode penelitian ini bersifat kuasi eksperimen dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji anakova. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat keterampilan proses sains dasar siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing dengan siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional (Fhitung = 34.488; P. = 0.000).

Abstract

Terpenoids are one of the secondary metabolite compounds that have animportant role in medicine because they have many benefits in healingvarious diseases. Terpenoids are also believed to be contained in gotu kolaleaves. This research was conducted to find out what are the activecompounds contained in gotu kola leaves. This research begins withextracting 400 grams of gotu kola leaf powder with 96% ethanol solventusing the maceration method. The results of maceration were thenevaporated using a waterbath until a thick extract was obtained.Identification of active compounds contained in gotu kola leaves wascarried out by phytochemical screening test and KLT test on thick extract.In the phytochemical screening test, it is known that the ethanol extract ofgotu kola leaves positively contains terpenoids, steroids and saponins.Then the identification of compounds using the KLT method withethanol:ethyl acetate eluent in a ratio of 9:1, 8:2, 7:3 and 6:4, then sprayedwith reagent liquid and observed under a UV lamp with a wavelength of254 nm. In the ratio of 9:1, the resulting Rf value is 0.64. Then in the ratioof 8:2 and 7:3, the resulting Rf values were 0.67 and 0.69. And in the ratioof 6:4, the resulting Rf value is 0.75. Based on the Rf value obtained, itcan be concluded that the ethanol extract of gotu kola leaves can certainlycontain terpenoid derivative compounds, namely triterpenoids which havea standard Rf value of 0,50-0,89

Abstract

Liquid soap is a liquid skin cleansing preparation made from soap base with the addition of other permitted ingredients and is used to cleanse the skin without causing irritation to the skin which can be caused by bacteria. This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of ethanol extract of kersen leaves in liquid soap preparations against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Liquid soap formulation of ethanol extract of kersen leaves (Muntingia calabura) was formulated in 3 (three) formulations, namely F1 soap preparation with 25% extract concentration, F2 with 30% kersen leaf ethanol extract concentration, and F3 with 35% kersen leaf ethanol extract concentration. Antibacterial testing was carried out using the disc diffusion method. The results of the antibacterial activity test of antiseptic liquid soap preparations F1 soap preparation has an inhibition of 16.82 mm, formulation 2 30% extract concentration has an inhibition of 19.52 mm, F3 extract concentration has an inhibition of 21.90 mm and positive control Dettol soap has an inhibition of 22.22 mm against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The conclusion of this study is that ethanol extract of kersen leaves has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria and the most optimal inhibitory concentration is kersen leaf extract soap preparation with a concentration of 35% with a very strong inhibition zone category.

Abstract

English teacher’s personality competency in improving students’ English language skills at Unggul Cut Nyak Dhien High School, Langsa City, is quite good. However, although the teacher’s personality is good, namely attitude and learning methods, it still needs to be improved in terms of using innovative learning media according to current developments because the teacher’s attitude and personality greatly influence students’ interest in learning. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis uses Miles and Huberman’s theory through data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusions. The research results found that the personality competence of English teachers is very good, thereby increasing students’ competence in English; this can be seen through teacher discipline, good communication with students, fellow teachers, and the surrounding environment, and carrying out their duties as teachers well. The hope is that the results of this research can be used as a reading reference or increase knowledge.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan Algoritma Branch and Bound untuk memaksimalkan keuntungan produksi frozen food pada UMKM Moon Love. Dalam industri makanan, efisiensi produksi dan distribusi merupakan permasalahan yang sangat penting untuk diperhatikan, terutama untuk UMKM yang sering menghadapi keterbatasan sumber daya. Algoritma Branch and Bound digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan optimasi dengan membagi masalah menjadi sub-masalah yang lebih kecil dan mengeliminasi solusi yang tidak optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari catatan harian UMKM Moon Love, kemudian menerapkan metode studi literatur untuk memahami konsep-konsep algoritma Branch and Bound serta model pemrograman linier lain nya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma Branch and Bound memperoleh hasil yang optimal dalam menentukan jumlah produksi nugget, dimsum, dan risol pada UMKM Moon Love. Adapun keuntungan maksimal yang dihasilkan sebesar Rp. 5.840.000. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan keuntungan sebesar 21,2% dibandingkan dari sebelumnya. Sehingga dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pentingnya metode optimasi dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk meningkatkan kinerja pada setiap usaha terutama pada UMKM Moon Love.

Abstract

 Penggunaan media pembelajaran yang konvensional dan tidak variatif menyebabkan siswa kurang bersemangat dan akan mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi perubahan wujud benda alam. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 41 siswa di SD Negeri Bukit Tiga tahun ajaran 2023/2024, yaitu 21 siswa VA pada kelas eksperimen dan 20 siswa VB pada kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan soal tes objektif untuk mengukur hasil belajar pada materi perubahan wujud benda alam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan Wordwall dengan hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan nilai rata-rata posttest untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 85,71 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 73,75. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan hasil Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,003. Nilai Sig (2-tailed) ini < α (0,05). Artinya, terdapat perbedaan skor posttest yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem periodik unsur. Penelitian ini telah memberikan berkontribusi terhadap pembelajaran IPA di SD Negeri Bukit Tiga dan dapat dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran lainnya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa _______________________________________________________________________________________ Learning can be seen from the atmosphere of the class and the interaction between the teacher and students. The use of conventional and unvaried learning media causes students to be unenthusiastic and will affect student learning outcomes. This research aims to determine the influence of Wordwall learning media on student learning outcomes on the topic of changes in natural appearance. This research method is a quantitative method. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 41 students at SD Negeri Bukit Tiga for the 2023/2024 academic year, namely 21 VA students in the experimental class and 20 VB students in the control class. Data was collected using objective test questions to measure learning outcomes on changes in natural appearance. The research results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes after learning using Wordwall with student learning outcomes based on the average posttest score for the experimental class of 85.71 and the control class of 73.75. As for the results of hypothesis testing using the Mann-Whitney test, there is a Sig (2-tailed) result of 0.003. This Sig (2-tailed) value is < α (0.05). This means that there is a significant difference in posttest scores between the experimental class and the control class. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the Wordwall learning media on student learning outcomes in the periodic system of elements material. This research has contributed to science learning at Bukit Tiga State Elementary School and can be used as another learning medium to improve students' learning abilities.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dan produktivitas peternak bebek melalui pendampingan pembuatan pakan alternative berbasis limbah organic. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan berbasis praktik yang meliputi wawancara awal untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan mitra, pelatihan, praktik langsung pembuatan pakan fermentasi, diskusi, dan evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Mitra sasaran merupakan peternak bebek yang ada di Desa Buket Pule, Kecamatan Langsa Timur, Kota Langsa. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa peternak mampu memahami dan mempraktikkan pembuatan pakan alternative seara mandiri sehingga dapat mengurangi ketergantungan pada pakan pabrikan dan menekan biaya produksi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan mitra dalam mengolah pakan secara mandiri, yang berpotensi mengurangi ketergantungan pada pakan komersial dan menekan biaya produksi. Rekomendasi dari kegiatan ini adalah perlunya dukungan berkelanjutan dari pemerintah desa maupun instansi terkait untuk memperluas pemanfaatan teknologi pakan alternative. Sekaligus membentuk kelompok peternak sebagai wadah berbagi pengetahuan dan penguatan kelembagaan.
