Abstract

This study aims to apply the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) method in determining the category of recipients of direct cash assistance in Ketowan village, Arjasa district, Situbondo regency. From the data set consisting of 50 entries, 34 entries were deemed eligible for assistance, while 16 other entries were deemed unfit. Researchers used six criteria to assess eligibility for receiving assistance, including housing conditions, income, employment, number of dependents, recent education, and status. The process of implementing the KNN method resulted in the parameter value K=5, with 38 data considered feasible and 12 data considered ineligible. This method is expected to help decision making in the allocation of village funds to minimize data errors and improve the effectiveness of social assistance programs at the village level.

Abstract

The factor that causes potato plants to be less than optimal is diseased potato plants. This potato plant disease can be identified from spotty leaves and dry stems, by identifying it using an identification system based on disease images. Potato stem datasets were obtained at the Ijen Bondowoso plantation as many as 1,132 and 816 diseased and non-diseased potato stem datasets. In the results of the potato leaf graph, the best results were obtained at epoch 25 with an accuracy value of testing data and training data of 82% and 81% with the loss model at epoch 25 being at a value of 0.42 for training data and 0.41 for testing data in the classification of diseased leaves. potato plant. The results of the classification of potato plant stems found the best value at epoch 25 with an accuracy value of 85% on testing data and 86% on training data. The model loss value in the training set is 0.34 and the validation test value is 0.33 at epoch 24

Abstract

Carica fruit is a fruit that is rarely found, this fruit is only found in the Dieng mountains, namely the Wonosobo-Banjarnegara area. This research aims to identify the level of maturity of carica fruit using HSI color space transformation in order to obtain better information about the level of fruit maturity in selecting fruit to be processed. In the process of identifying the ripeness of Carica fruit, 90 datasets were used. The 90 datasets are divided into 3 categories, namely, 30 cooked, 30 cooked, and 30 raw. Then, the 90 datasets were divided into 30 training data and 60 testing data. The results of the identification showed 57 correct out of 60 testing datasets with an accuracy of 95%.

Abstract

Current advances in science and development make regular daily existence progressively simpler. Where science and advancement are by and large applied with machines or equipment, human work should be done truly, and time abbreviated. Modified water framework control is a motorization methodology that uses an Arduino microcontroller. This examination utilizes abstract investigation and model improvement strategies. The reason for using this system is to create or foster specific things. This procedure is applied to investigate strategies into 6 phases, to be specific (1) needs, (2) fast arrangement, (3) structure model, (4) client evaluation, (5) refinement model, and (6) execution. This framework utilizes an ultrasonic sensor type HC-SR04 which is utilized to measure the distance of water from an article.

Abstract

Determining top employees is a vital element in human resource management at BMT Al Mubarok Bondowoso. The right decision can improve organizational performance. The research aims to establish a tool to assist in making policies to determine the most outstanding staff through the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. AHP was chosen because it can break down complex problems into an easy-to-understand hierarchical structure. The way it works is by recognizing the related parameters in choosing the most outstanding staf, such as performance, discipline, cooperation, initiative, and responsibility. Each criterion is given a weight based on its level of importance through a pairwise comparison process. Furthermore, employees are evaluated based on these criteria to determine the best employee. The research results show that the AHP method is effective in providing objective and systematic recommendations. The developed system produces employee rankings based on the final score from the criteria weights and employee assessments.

Abstract

Hoax news is false and misleading information that can cause provocation and hatred for readers. With easy internet access, the spread of hoax news is getting more massive. Therefore, there needs to be a method that can detect hoax news. The research uses deep learning methods by integrating text mining to find information and news patterns related to hoaxes. By using a dataset from the kaggle site totaling around 2700 then text preprocessing is carried out so that the data is more structured for further processing. Then make feature engineering from BERT so that the data can be processed by machine learning with three classification methods namely BERT, SVM and random forest then testing and evaluation. In this study, the model that produces the highest performance is BERT with (accuracy = 0.99, ROC-AUC = 0.99) compared to traditional machine learning models.

Abstract

Pembuatan sistem keamanan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keamanan pada sepeda motor dan juga mempermudah dalam mengontrol ON dan OFF serta starter menggunakan mikrokontroler Esp32. Seringnya terjadi masalah pada kunci kontak sepeda motor mengharuskan para penggunanya menggunakan sistem kunci kontak yang efisien dan memiliki fungsi yang baik. Penggunaan modul Esp32 memiliki beberapa keungulan modul ini memeliki fitur lengkap dan juga memiliki kinerja yang tinggi serta memiliki dua prosesor untuk mengelolah jaringan Wifi dan Bluetooth. Hasil dari penelitian sistem smart key pada sepeda motor menggunakan modul Esp32 ini adalah membantu menanggulangi masalah pada kunci kontak sepeda motor dan disela mempermudah dapat juga mengurangi beberapa problem yang ada seperti kehilangan kunci kontak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sistem smart key yang baik khususnya pada sepeda motor dan juga mengurangi tingkat Abstract

The increasing demand for efficient administrative services in higher education institutions has highlighted the need for effective correspondence management systems. Conventional mail handling processes often result in delays, misrouted documents, difficulties in archiving, and challenges in information retrieval. This study aims to develop a web-based Smart Mail Management System by integrating Optical Character Recognition (OCR), rule-based intelligent routing, automated notifications, and digital approval features to improve correspondence management within the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Ibrahimy. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation analysis, and literature review. OCR technology was utilized to convert scanned letters into digital text, while a rule-based mechanism automatically classified and routed correspondence to the appropriate recipient. The results indicate that the proposed system reduces manual processing, improves routing accuracy, accelerates document handling, enhances document traceability, and facilitates centralized digital archiving. Furthermore, the integration of automated notifications and digital approval features supports a more efficient administrative workflow. These findings demonstrate that the developed system contributes to improving the effectiveness, accuracy, and efficiency of correspondence management while supporting digital transformation initiatives in higher education institutions.
