Abstract

This study aims to formulate a strategy for developing red chili agribusiness that can be applied in Sleman Regency. The study was conducted in Kalasan District since it has the highest red chili production in Sleman Regency. The method used in this research was Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Based on the results of the study there were 5 aspects of strength, 5 aspects of weakness, 5 aspects of opportunity, and 5 aspects of threats. All internal and external aspects form the basis for making alternative strategies. The position of grand strategy matrix is quadrant I. There were 5 alternative strategies that are generated and included in the AHP hierarchy structure. Of the 5 alternative strategies, the 05 strategy was chosen with a priority weight value of 0.357, namely the strategy with the development of a chili auction market using digital technology.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Province. In their role, farmers only conduct farming at the level of production with relatively small added value or profit. Meanwhile, the processing and marketing subsystems tend not to be handled by them but by traders or other businessmen. This study aims to determine an alternative strategy for the development of red chili agribusiness in Sleman Regency. This research was conducted in December 2018 to January 2019 by conducting interviews with 11 respondents who were considered key informants. The method in this research is descriptive analytic based on primary and secondary data. The formulation of alternative strategies was analyzed by making Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) matrices, then continued with a grand strategy and SWOT analysis. Based on the research results, the competitive position of red chili agribusiness is in quadrant I (high market growth and strong competitive position).

Abstract

Herbisida buatan merupakan pemberian nama dari suatu campuran lima bahan, yaitu air kelapa, ragi, deterjen, garam, dan urea. Berdasarkan hasil uji awal yang dilakukan, herbisida buatan ini memiliki potensi untuk dijadikan sebagai herbisida alternatif. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kematian dan keracunan gulma rumput belulang (Eleusine indica) yang diberi herbisida buatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di areal perkebunan kelapa sawit kampus Institut Teknologi Sawit Indonesia. Waktu penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan April 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial, yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan ulangan sebanyak 6 kali. Pengujian parameter disusun pada daftar sidik ragam dan menggunakan uji lanjut DMRT 5%. Berdasarkan hasil semua parameter yang telah diuji, konsentrasi 11% mampu menekan pertumbuhan gulma rumput belulang dilihat dari parameter tingkat keracunan gulma sebesar 30,33%. Konsentrasi tersebut cukup efektif diaplikasikan untuk mengendalikan gulma rumput belulang, karena perlakuan tersebut sangat berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan lain dengan konsentrasi yang lebih rendah, yaitu 8% dan 6%. Konsentrasi tersebut mampu menekan pertumbuhan gulma rumput belulang karena mampu merusak jaringan daun rumput belulang yang diawali dengan perubahan warna daun dari hijau menjadi kuning kecokelatan dan selanjutnya mengering dan mengalami kematian.
