Abstract

Injection motorcycles are an innovation in two-wheeled vehicles that integrate electronic technology to enhance efficiency and performance. However, many users face difficulties in detecting electrical system failures in these motorcycles, primarily due to a lack of technical knowledge. This study aims to develop a web-based expert system capable of detecting issues in motorcycle injection components, specifically for injection motorcycles of matic and underbone types from 2013 to 2019. The system utilizes the Dempster-Shafer method to handle uncertainty in the diagnostic process. The Dempster-Shafer theory provides reasoning based on belief functions and plausible reasoning, which is used to combine separate pieces of information (evidence) to calculate the likelihood of an event, resulting in more accurate outcomes. The input consists of data from 15 symptoms of injection component failures and 7 types of injection component failures. The output of this web-based expert system is the diagnosis of the detected failures in the motorcycle injection components and the solutions for these failures. The results show that the developed expert system can improve efficiency in detecting failures and provide more accurate solutions for users with an accuracy rate of 90% based on the expert system's results and the direct testing on 10 injection motorcycle units.

Abstract

Telanaipura Sector Police is the Republic of Indonesia's Police command structure at the sub-district level in Jambi Province. In the criminal investigation department, the telecommunication sector in processing criminal data is still done manually assisted with Microsoft Word so that the processing of the data has not been properly processed in order to carry out data analysis, evaluation and profiling of data on the increasing number and extent of crime. extensively. The aim of reducing crime rates is that it needs to be built web-based applications and tested using WEKA applications to help process and analyze data using data mining techniques using the decision tree method. In analyzing the data using the age, time, place of occurrence, crime decision tree as an attribute of the case and article theft as a class. In making this prediction application, the PHP and HTML programming languages are used. And using databases using MYSQL and in analyzing using Microsoft Excel and WEKA. The data inputted is in the form of data on the offender, violation data and admin data. The attributes that are inputted in the WEKA application are attributes of age, time, place of occurrence, and crime and articles of violation as a class. The output generated from the WEKA application is in the form of rules or rules from the decision tree while the output generated by the web-based prediction interface results in article violation classes and generates reports on the perpetrator's actions, the number of crimes, crimes per period and per violation article. With the Mining Data Prediction Interface Criminal Classification on the Police of the Jambi Telecommunication Sector Using the Decision Tree Method Can Help the Telanaipura Jambi Sector Police in evaluating and profiling criminal offenders.

Abstract

Laboratory Management is a systematic process that involves collecting, storing, maintaining, processing, retrieving, and validating data required by the laboratory to make informed management decisions. The Department of Pharmacy at Politeknik Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan (Poltekkes Kemenkes) Jambi needs a management system that can handle a significant amount of data. The current laboratory management system is not digitalized, which has led to inadequate documentation of inventory data, borrowing and returning of lab equipment and tools, as well as other relevant information related to schedules and student final projects. Therefore, the objective of this research is to develop a web-based information system for laboratory management. The system will assist laboratory staff in managing data and information related to practicums and laboratory activities. Input data are inventory of laboratory tools and materials data, lab schedule data, and lab activity data. The system output will provide tool and material inventory data reports, as well as reports on the use and borrowing of tools and materials. This research has resulted in the development of a Laboratory Management Information System that assists laboratory managers in managing inventory and laboratory activity data.

Abstract

Learning styles are an essential factor influencing the effectiveness of the learning process. Each student has different tendencies, such as visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. This study aims to analyze the learning styles of elementary school students using the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) method. The data consisted of report card scores from nine subjects, representing academic achievement, and a learning style questionnaire. The questionnaire results indicated that 19 students (43.18%) preferred visual learning, 6 students (13.64%) auditory, 10 students (22.73%) kinesthetic, and 9 students (20.45%) had mixed learning styles. FCM was chosen because it allows clustering with multiple memberships, enabling students to belong to more than one learning style category. A total of 44 students’ data were processed using MATLAB and Microsoft Excel. The clustering results identified three main clusters: visual (C1) with 18 students (40.91%), auditory (C2) with 12 students (27.27%), and kinesthetic (C3) with 14 students (31.82%). These findings provide useful insights for teachers to design more effective teaching strategies tailored to students’ learning styles.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of an E-Commerce system for CV Kerinci Grafika aimed at resolving issues related to manual payment processing and transaction verification that previously required considerable time. The system is integrated with the Midtrans Payment Gateway to ensure that transactions are processed automatically, securely, and efficiently. The application was developed using PHP with the CodeIgniter 3 framework and a MySQL database. The research methodology employed the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system requires input data such as products, customers, and user authentication through login and registration. The core processes include product management, shopping cart handling, order processing, and online payment transactions. The outputs generated include transaction invoices, purchase history, and payment reports. The implementation results show that the system successfully improves operational efficiency and accelerates the payment verification process at CV Kerinci Grafika.
