Abstract

This thesis discusses the presentation of the arrangement of the song Hupillit Jesus Dongan Ki which is found in ende book number 471 and logu book number 318 by Karl Kuhlo. The author presents this arrangement in the form of a saxophone quartet instrument, namely soprano saxophone, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone and baritone saxophone. This production uses a 4/4 time signature and the basic note F = do with Andante tempo (MM 85). The author worked on this song in the form of a saxophone quartet, while maintaining the original melody of this song which was sung by the soprano saxophone. However, for alto, tenor and baritone saxophone, each melody is the result of developing ideas from the main melody. The development of the form of melody, rhythm, tempo, harmony, dynamics, in this arrangement aims to deepen the message and meaning of the song. According to the title of the research, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method, namely by describing the arrangement of the song Hupillit Jesus Dongan Ki by Karl Kuhlo on a saxophone quartet playing at GKPI Pagar Beringin Permai, which was carried out in August - September 2023. By conducting observations and interviews, looking for literature and several sources related to arranging and saxophone, and arranging in writing. The result of this research is a new presentation concept for the song Hupillit Jesus Dongan Ki in the form of a saxophone quartet instrument. The different sound characteristics of each saxophone instrument make the harmony of the song even more beautiful. Improvised forms of alto, tenor and baritone saxophone melodies can fill in any gaps in the main melody, thereby enriching the harmony of the song Hupillit Jesus Dongan Ki..

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective and Fun Learning (PAIKEM) by Christian Religious Education teachers on the Learning Interest of Class VIII Students at SMP Negeri 3 Lintongnihuta for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative method. The population is all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Lintongnihuta, Humbang Hasundutan Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians, totaling 177 students and a sample of 43 people was determined using the Random Sampling technique. Data was collected using a closed questionnaire with 35 items, namely 17 items for variable Learning Interests of Class VIII Students at SMP Negeri 3 Lintongnihuta for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. 1) The results of data analysis show: a) a positive relationship test obtained a value of rxy = 0.612 > rtable(=0.05,n=43) = 0.375. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained tcount= 4.961 > ttable(=0.05, dk=n-2=41)= 2.021. 2) Test the effect: a) Test the regression equation, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="10.29"+0.84X. b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 37.5%. 3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable=(=0.05, dk numerator k=21, dk denominator=n-2=43-2=41) namely 24.61 > 1.51. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the positive and significant influence of using the problem based learning model on the interest in learning PAK of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2022/2023 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence between the use of the problem based learning model on the interest in learning PAK of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is a regression research using Descriptive and Inferential Statistics techniques. The population of all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon who are Protestant Christians is 190 people. Random sampling (random sampling) is 25% of the total population, namely 48 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. From the determination coefficient test, the value r2 = 0.2520 is obtained. From the determination value (r2), it can be seen that the percentage of influence between the use of the problem based learning model on the interest in learning PAK of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2022/2023 academic year is 25.20% and 74 .80% is influenced by other factors as explained in the literature review, namely factors in the school environment, factors in the home environment, factors in the community environment. The results of the analysis requirements obtained the value rxy=0.502>rtabel=0.284 and tcount=3.937>ttable=2.021, indicating that there is a relationship between the use of the problem based learning model and students' interest in learning PAK and obtaining the regression equation. Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=52.15>Ftable=3.23, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between the use of the problem based learning model on the interest in learning PAK of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2022/2023 academic year of 25.20%.
