Abstract

Arabic language as a means of communication has an important role in human life. In particular, Arabic is the language of religion for Muslims. Al-Quran as a guide to moslims uses the Arabic language. Some translations of the Quran by Ministery of Religious of Indonesia are gender bias. This can be minimized by translating using specific approaches and methods, in order to have the translation and interpretation based on a gender perspective. So that women do not feel discredited, and subordinate to live a life together with men.

Abstract

Woman leadership has become one of the lively contemporary issues discussed, both in the view of theology, and sociology. The discussion is often associated with education. Education is the fulcrum of the effort to develop intellectual ability in order to achieve a specific purpose, such as the establishment of the leadership. The decades of women leadership since 1990 rise women leadership potential. The notion that women are not worthy to be a leader was undeniable by historical reality of women leadership. The influence of educational development toward women leadership can be seen if the mastery of science have impact on potential improvement, so that women leadership will be qualified if it is accompanied by strengthening of intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the innovation of digital-based Arabic learning models, particularly regarding Human Resource (HR) innovations and the utilization of digital facilities at three Islamic Higher Education (Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam/PTKI) Institutions in Southeast Sulawesi. This qualitative research employs a phenomenological approach, with data collected from primary and secondary sources through observation, interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and document studies. The data was analyzed using categorization, description, and synthesis techniques, with data validity tested through triangulation. The findings of this article indicate that the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Kendari, the Islamic College (STAI) YPIQ Baubau, and the Islamic Institute (IAI) Al-Mawaddah Warahmah Kolaka have implemented innovations in digital-based Arabic learning models. The creativity of human resources (lecturers, students, and administrative staff) shows different adaptation styles in utilizing digital facilities. These innovations have facilitated Arabic language learning but have not been fully supported by the digital competence of human resources at these three institutions. In terms of digital facilities meeting standard requirements, the three Islamic Higher Education Institutions exhibit varying levels of innovation in digital-based Arabic learning models, especially in operational digital formats, HR competence readiness, and availability of facilities. The digital-based Arabic learning model innovations at these institutions offer advantages, compatibility, and religious complexity. These innovations are implemented with a commitment to enhancing HR creativity and providing representative digital facilities based on needs.

Abstract

While previous research has extensively examined cross-cultural adaptation among international students, limited attention has been given to the specific role of linguistic intelligence in facilitating this process, particularly among Indonesian beginner students in Arab-speaking contexts. This study investigates how linguistic intelligence influences cross-cultural adaptation of Indonesian students in Egypt. Employing a mixed-method approach, this research combines field data from 120 Indonesian students' lived experiences in Egypt with a systematic literature review of relevant studies. Quantitative analysis reveals a significant positive correlation (r=0.72, p<0.01) between linguistic intelligence dimensions and adaptation outcomes, while qualitative findings highlight language learning strategies, communicative confidence, and sociolinguistic awareness as critical adaptation mechanisms. Results demonstrate that students with higher linguistic intelligence exhibit superior cultural adjustment, academic performance, and social integration. The study's implications suggest that pre-departure orientation programs should incorporate linguistic intelligence development alongside traditional language training, and educational institutions should assess students' linguistic competencies to provide tailored support systems for enhanced cross-cultural adaptation success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan pola asuh orang tua dalam mendidik karakter anak, dan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat pola asuh orang tua dalam mendidik karakter anak di Desa Ulukalo, Kecamatan Iwoimendaa, Kabupaten Kolaka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, penulis menggunakan tekhnik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, untuk pengecekan keabsahan datanya menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. serta uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua, anak usia 6-12 tahun, dan tokoh masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Pola asuh orang tua dalam mendidik karakter anak di Desa Ulukalo terdiri dari beberapa pola yaitu pola asuh otoriter, pola asuh demokratis, dan pola asuh permisif. Dari ketiga pola tersebut yang paling dominan diterapkan adalah pola asuh demokratis. Dan situasi tertentu beberapa orang tua menerapkan pola asuh otoriter dan permisif. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan pola asuh orang tua di Desa Ulukalo terbagi menjadi dua macam, pertama faktor pendukung yang meliputi lingkungan tempat tinggal yang religius, dan motivasi orang tua kepada anak. Kedua faktor penghambat meliputi kesibukan orang tua, teman sebaya, dan pengaruh buruk dari pesatnya arus globalisasi seperti handphone, game dan televisi

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui interaksi edukatif guru dan mengetahui penyebab pendukung dan penghambat interaksi edukatif guru dengan peserta didik dalam membentuk kepribadian muslim di MTs Karae. Jenis penelitian ini kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengambilan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi di MTs Karae. Peneliti menggunakan editing, klarifikasi, display, dan verifikasi data, triangulasi yakni triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Peneliti menemukan di lapangan, bahwa (1) Guru melakukan pendekatan kepada peserta didik dengan pembiasaan, motivasi, nasihat, dan keteladan; (2) Guru memberikan materi dengan contoh yang ada di lingkungan madrasah; dan (3) Guru mengarahkan peserta didik agar mengikuti kegiatan di masjid Desa Karae. Faktor penghambat (1) Kurangnya tingkat perhatian dan kosentrasi beberapa peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran; (2) Orang tua yang sibuk bekerja; (3) Bergaul dengan teman yang tidak baik; (4) Peserta didik kurang percaya diri, dan (5) Sarana prasarana belum memadai. Adapun faktor pendukungnya (1) Pihak MTs Karae mendukung pembentukan kepribadian; (2) Guru membiasakan peserta didik agar bersikap baik dalam menghargai guru, orang tua maupun teman sebaya; (3) Menerapkan disiplin kepada peserta didik dan (4) Peserta didik mengikuti  kegiatan di masjid Desa Karae
