Abstract

Governance quality measurement of an educational institution is one of the main factors that can impact on the image of the college and the student loyalty. This article aims to describe and analyze the student satisfaction level of the academic administration services of IAIN Kendari staff. The research sample amounted to 88 students from 752 population numbers. The research instruments were structured using a service satisfaction indicator which refers to the tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy aspects. The data were analyzed by using the Student Satisfaction Index analysis technique. The result of students’ satisfaction of academic agency activities was in satisfactory category. Besides, an interesting empirical finding in this research was the level of students’ satisfaction of the service positively correlates with the number of the employees. That is, the higher the number of employees, the higher the level of satisfaction of the service and vice versa. This indicates the need for the proportional distribution of academic administrative personnel in order to provide the more qualified academic service.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts made by teachers in using audio-visual media to increase the learning interest of class IX students Batam City, as well as to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research is a qualitative research using observation, interviews and documentation to obtain data. Furthermore, the data will be analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that the efforts made by the teacher in using audio-visual media to increase student interest in learning are by displaying learning videos, developing subject matter during material delivery, and providing conclusions about the learning videos that are displayed, and always providing motivation so that students always have an interest and enthusiasm for learning. The effort is stated to be effective in its use. The supporting factors are the availability of school facilities, students' interest in participating in learning, and the increasingly sophisticated technology. And the inhibiting factors are changes in student conditions, inadequate classrooms, and limited facilities.

Abstract

Pengembangan Pendidikan Agama Islam Berbasis Karakter merupakan kebutuhan mendasar dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar Khususnya. Implementasi Pengembangan Pendidikan Agama Islam Berbasis Karakter Di SDN 12/X Pemusiran Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur sangatlah penting untuk diupayakan secara maksimal, guna menjawab tantangan pendidikan era modern saat ini. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan jenis pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini yakni siswa dan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam sekolah SDN 12/X Pemusiran Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur Provinsi Jambi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; pertama, implementasi pengembangan pendidikan Islam berbasis karakter Di SDN 12/X Pemusiran Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur Provinsi Jambi telah berjalan secara baik dengan menekankan nilai-nilai karakter dalam setiap pembelajaran dan pendidikan. Penerapan pendidikan Islam berbasis karakter Di SDN 12/X Pemusiran Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur Provinsi Jambi dipandang sangat penting karena akan menghasilkan kebiasaan yang baik pada siswa. Kedua, upaya yang dilakukan guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam mengembangkan pendidikan Islam berbasis karakter Di SDN 12/X Pemusiran Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur Provinsi Jambi yaitu melalui berbagai metode dan strategi pembelajaran, diantaranya; 1) memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa untuk rajin beribadah, yang mana hal ini diterapkan melalui ujian praktik ibadah. 2) Mengajarkan sopan santun kepada guru dan orang tua, dimana setiap bertemu guru dan orang tua, maka siswa menyapa dan salam. 3) Berbuat baik kepada teman dengan tidak melakukan bullying, serta tidak membeda-bedakan teman. Sementara untuk proses pembelajaran di kelas lebih menekankan berbagai metode, seperti; ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi. Sedangkan untuk pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan kepada siswa dalam mengembangkan pendidikan Islam berbasis karakter yaitu melalui keteladanan dengan memberi contoh yang baik secara langsung kepada siswa.

Abstract

The rise of intolerance and radicalism among adolescents has become a serious challenge in the field of education, particularly in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study aims to examine the extent to which the values of religious moderation such as tolerance, anti-radicalism, and patriotism are integrated into the PAI curriculum at the secondary school level. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through content analysis of curriculum documents, including Core Competencies (KI), Basic Competencies (KD), syllabi, and PAI textbooks. The findings reveal that the values of religious moderation are reflected in several learning materials, especially on topics such as ethics toward others, interfaith harmony, and the role of religion in national life. However, the implementation of these values in the classroom still faces obstacles, such as limited teacher understanding and a tendency toward normative teaching methods. Therefore, strengthening the curriculum and enhancing teacher competence in delivering moderation values are urgently needed to ensure that PAI effectively contributes to shaping a generation of moderate, tolerant, and patriotic Muslims.
