Abstract

Background: Learning is an effort to obtain intelligence or knowledge, changing behavior or responses caused by experience. There are many factors that influence the success of learning. Two main factors that affect the success of ones learning are the factor of the internal (internal factors) and other factors that come from outside the individual (external factors). External elements (environmental factors and instrumental factors) and internal elements (physiological factors and psychological factors) also play a role in influencing learning processes and outcomes.Objective: To identify the factors that influence the success of student learning on SCL model in Stikes Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta.Methods: Research descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all students of Stikes Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta who obtained the SCL model. Data retrieval method used simple random sampling.Results: There is a relation between students attention and learning achievement (P value = 0,000), there is correlation between fatigue with learning achievement (Pvalue = 0,000). There is no relation between family factor and learning achievement (Pvalue = 0,300), no correlation between school factor and achievement (Pvalue = 0,130), and no relation between environmental factor and academic achievement (Pvalue = 0,476)Conclusion: Students attention in learning influences learning achievement, with positive relationship direction (r = 0,814), where each addition of student’s attention for 1 hour will improve student’s achievement as much as 2.21 points.   Keyword: SCL model, learning.

Abstract

Background: Washing hand is an effective way to break cross-infection chain. Hand hygiene five moment are such as : prior to contact with patient, prior to sanitation or sterilization procedure, post contact with patient's body fluid, post contact with patient, post contact with patient's surroundings.Objective: To identify The Correlation between Behavior and Nurse's Compliance in Hand Hygiene Five Movement in Inpatient Ward of Third Grade in Sleman General HospitalMethod: The type of this study was non experimental with descriptive and correlational study design. The number of samples was 60 nurses in inpatient ward of third grade in Sleman general hospital. Data analysis method was gamma correlational test.Result: The study result identified that nurses' behaviors in hand hygiene five moment in inpatient ward of third grade in Sleman general hospital were positive behaviors as many as 42 nurses (70,0%) and compliant behaviors as many as 38 nurses (63,3%). The result of bivariate test found out significant correlations between behaviors and nurses' compliance in hand hygiene five moment in inpatient ward of third grade in Sleman general hospital (p value of 0,000) and correlation test figured out r value of 0,959 which indicated strong and positive correlations.Conclusion: There were significant correlations between behaviors and nurses' compliance in hand hygiene five moment in inpatient ward of third grade in Sleman general hospital with strong and positive correlations. Keywords: Behavior, Compliance, Hand Hygiene Five Moment, Nurse.

Abstract

Peran advokat klien bukanlah hal yang baru bagi perawat. Menurut sejarah, peran advokat klien telah menjadi kewajiban moral seorang perawat. Selama beberapa tahun terakhir, literatur keperawatan berfokus pada peran advokat dan profesi keperawatan telah mengadopsi istilah advokat klien ke dalam praktek keperawatan (Negarandeh, 2006). Hasil penelitian Gea dan Eldawati (2006) menyatakan tingkat pengetahuan perawat tentang peran perawat sebagai advokat klien pada umumnya berada pada kategori tingkat pengetahuan tinggi dan dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pendidikan, umur dan pengalaman kerja. Hipotesa dalam penelitian ada dua yaitu pengetahuan perawat pelaksana tentang peran advokat klien lebih tinggi dibandingkan mahasiswa perawat dan sikap perawat pelaksana tentang peran advokat klien lebih positif dibandingkan mahasiswa perawat. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai masukan untuk pengembangan ilmu keperawatan khususnya yang berhubungan dengan peran perawat sebagai advokat klien., sebagai masukan bagi perawat untuk meningkatkan ilmu pengetahuan tentang peran perawat sebagai advokat klien dan hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan dasar untuk melakukan penelitian selanjutnya terkait peran perawat sebagai advokat klien. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 14 minggu dari mulai minggu ke-2 bulan Oktober sampai dengan Minggu akhir bulan Januari 2013.  Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode penelitian cross sectional dengan hasil penelitian pada mahasiswa perawata didapatkan hasil tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa tehadap sikap mahasiswa tentang peran perawat advokat sedangkan pada perawat pelaksana didapatkan hasil ada hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa tehadap sikap mahasiswa tentang peran perawat advokat. Perbedaan hasil penelitian yang berbeda antara mahasiswa perawat dengan perawat pelaksana dapat dipengaruhi oleh karena tempat penelitian yang berbeda sehingga terdapat perbedaan dalam karakteristik responden, pengalaman kerja perawat dalam menerapkan konsep peran perawat advokat, serta situasi dan kondisi tempat penelitian saat penelitian dilakukan. Disamping itu persepsi dari responden juga dipengaruhi oleh : perhatian yang selektif, kebutuhan yang dirasakan saat itu, sistem nilai dan kepercayaan yang dianut, konsep diri dan pengalaman masa lalu ( Kozier, 2004 ). Dengan demikian akan terjadi perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan dengan sikap antara mahasiswa dengan perawat pelaksana dalam menerapkan peran perawat sebagai advokat klien Kata kuci:  pengetahuan, sikap, mahasiswa perawat, perawat pelaksana, peran perawat advokat klien

Abstract

Background: Curriculum applied in Indonesia had some changes and perfections, one of them was the change of Content-Based Curriculum or KBI (Kurikulum Berbasis Isi). This curriculum was changed to Competence-Based Curriculum or KBK (Kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi). KBIis an operational curriculum arrangged, developed and conducted in every education unit that has been ready and able to apply the curriculum, while KBK is a group of plans and managements including the competence and the result of study that should be achieved by the student, scoring system, teaching learning activity and empowerement of the resources. The change of applying curriculum in Indonesia aimed to able the student to work well in national and even international scope. Stikes Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta had some changes of curriculum from KBI to KBK that applied for students in the academic year of 2014/2015. Whereas, KBI is applied for student in the academic year of 2011/2012 and 2012/2013. KBK impementation affected the students GPA (Grade Point Average). Objective: To study the difference of the students learning achievement who used KBK and KBI in their curriculum in Stikes Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta. Method: This research was Cross Sectional. The number of the sample were 145 respondents of the nursing students that consisted of students in semester 2, 4, 6, and 8. To analyze the data, the researcher used univariat analysis and bivariat analysis that used t-test independent with p < 0.05 of significance level. Result: There was a significance difference of students’ GPA who applied KBK and KBI (p= .000). The average students’ GPA who used KBIsystem was higher 0.4 than the students who applied KBK system. Conclusion: The difference of applying curriculum in Stikes Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta affected the differences in GPA. The student who used KBI system obtained higher average than the students who applied KBK system. Abstract

Objective: Explores in depth the learning experience of students in SCL “student center learning” model in Nursing Program Stikes General Achmad Yani Yogyakarta. Methods: This research use qualitative method with descriptive approach, executed on June until August 2016 in Nursing Program Stikes General Achmad Yani Yogyakarta. Informants in this study were selected by purposive sampling technique of convenience sampling. The informants involved in this research are 6 informants, where the researcher has obtained the data saturation in gathering information and has reached redudancy. Interviews were conducted once for each participant, lasting approximately 60-90 minutes for each participant. Data analysis method used in this research is method of analysis from Colaizzi. Result: There are 12 themes perceived by Nursing Program Stikes General Achmad Yani Students about SCL learning model that is role of student, the role of lecturer, learning process, student expression with SCL learning model,  the number of group members, student activeness in learning, improvement of student soft skills, means of learning, lecturer relationships with students, relationships between students, supporting factors, and inhibiting factors Conclusion: There are three perceptions of students about SCL learning, namely the role of lecturer as facilitator and mediator, scheduled learning process, and student perception on SCL learning model. The advantages of learning perceived by the students is seen from the number of group members, the activity of the students in learning and the improvement of the soft skills of the students. Lesson in the SCL learning model perceived by the students, the learning facilities, the relationship of lecturers with students, and the relationship among students. There are two factors that play a role in student learning in SCL learning model in Nursing Program Stikes General Achmad Yani Yogyakarta is the driving factor (self, family and friends)

Abstract

The Constitution on National Education System No. 20 of 2003 Chapter II Article 3 states not only result and produce of smart human beings, but also has a solid and independent personality, as well as community and national responsibilities. A nurse's competence is something that a nurse carries out in providing professional services to the client, includes of knowledge, skills, and considerations required in practice situations. The purpose of research to determine the relationship of internal factors with the graduation of competency test of nursing students Stikes General Achmad Yani Yogyakarta. This research is a descriptive research, the scope of research Nursing Profession. This research was conducted at Stikes General Achmad Yani Yogyakarta. The data was taken with cross sectional approach and was correlational research. 30 respondents were taken with simple random sampling technique. The result of Gamma statistic test shows the value of p-value 0,617 which there is no relation between spiritual level with the graduation of competency test. Gamma statistical test results show the value of p value of 0.846 which means there is no relationship between the type of personality with the graduation of competency test. The result of Gamma statistic test shows the value of p value 0.143 which there is no correlation between level of anxiety with graduation of competency test. Conclusion teh research there is no relation between internal factor of spiritual level, personality type and anxiety toward passing competency test at Stikes General Achmad Yani Yogyakarta.

Abstract

AbstractThe accreditation standard for Medical Record Information Management (MIRM) 13 regulates the provision of medical records. The regulation aims to ensure the continuity of patient health documentation. This study describes the condition of medical records starting from numbering, ordering, and making and retrieving medical records to support patient care documentation according to hospital accreditation standards in the MIRM chapter 13. This type of research is descriptive with a retrospective approach. The results showed that Panembahan Senopati Hospital Bantul already has Medical Record Service Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures regulations. The regulation provides medical records for numbering, ordering, and creating and retrieving medical records to support patient service documentation. Panembahan Senopati Hospital Bantul implements an automated unit numbering system with the support of an RS SIM. They set the medical order after the patient goes home, both outpatient and inpatient. Making and retrieving medical records is part of implementing the unit numbering system. New patients make medical records when served at the registration section, while medical records take from the filing section for old patients. If medical records were not ready at the return visit, the professional HIM used a follow-up outpatient medical record form and combined it after the medical records were prepared. The regulation and the medical supply system show that Panembahan Senopai Hospital, Bantul, has implemented the MIRM standard 13 ep 1-5. However, implementation constraints are still on the MIRM 13 ep 4.Keywords: provision, numbering, assembling, retrieval, medical recordsAbstrakDalam standar akreditasi Manajemen Informasi Rekam Medis (MIRM) 13 mengatur penyediaan rekam medis. Rerulasi tersebut bertujuan menjamin kesinambungan dokumentasi kesehatan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan penyediaan rekam medis mulai dari penomoran, urutan rekam medis, pembuatan dan retrieval rekam medis guna mendukung dokumentasi pelayanan pasien sesuai standar akreditasi rumah sakit pada bab MIRM 13. Jenis penelitian dekriptif dengan pendekatan retrospektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RSUD Panembahan Senopati Bantul sudah memiliki regulasi berupa Pedoman Pelayanan Rekam Medis dan Standar Prosedur Operasional yang mengatur penyediaan rekam medis untuk penomoran, urutan rekam medis, pembuatan dan retrieval rekam medis guna mendukung dokumentasi pelayanan pasien. RSUD Panembahan Senopati Bantul menerapkan sistem penomoran unit yang sudah terotomatisasi dengan dukungan SIM RS. Pengaturan urutan rekam medis dilakukan setelah pasien pulang baik rawat jalan maupun rawat inap. Pembuatan dan retrieval rekam medis merupakan bagian dari implementasi sistem penomoran unit. Pasien baru dibuatkan rekam medis saat di layani di bagian pendaftaran, sedangkan untuk pasien lama diambilkan rekam medis dari bagian filing. Apabila rekam medis tidak ditemukan pada saat kunjungan ulang maka petugas menggunakan formulir rekam medis rawat jalan lanjutan dan formulir tersebut akan digabungkan setelah rekam medis ditemukan. Adanya regulasi dan sistem penyediaan rekam medis tersebut menunjukkan RSUD Panembahan Senopai Bantul telah mengimplemantasikan standar MIRM 13 ep 1-5. Namun masih terdapat kendala implementasi pada standar MIRM 13 ep 4.Kata kunci: penyediaan, penomoran, urutan, retrieval, rekam medis
