Abstract

The objective of this research was to compose the child song as the mitigation of earthquake and tsunami disaster to build the character and mental to elementary School student in the coastal city of Pariaman and Padang Pariaman district, West Sumatra Province. This research was conducted in eight (8) Elementary School (SD) in the Pariaman city and Padang Pariaman district. The research method was a survey method with purposive sampling the elementary school is located ± 1 km from the coast. The research was done to collect the data base and characteristics of sample, compose song lyrics, compossing music, the song arrangements and recording process. The data were analyzed descriptively, questionnaires were used to test the understanding of the child at the beginning of the study. The results showed that a total 477 elementary students, 256 men and 191 women, in general, the elementary school students are afraid of the earthquake and tsunami and the action was taken screaming and istigfar. Only 41.39% of respondents who had received education about disaster mitigation efforts of NGOs and BPBD. The kids love the songs and music of 90%, but their knowledge of local music is very low. Lyrics composed by the popular pop style. Composition of song lyrics consisting of five verses of four lines (sentences). The first about geografis condition, the second educating the earthquake and tsunami, the third self-control, the fourth contains the actions to be taken and the fifth verse is the climax, action and pray.

Abstract

Komposisi musik Andung-andung Ni Sordam merupakan komposisi yang terinspirasi dari instrumen musik tradisional dan kesenian tradisional Batak Simalungun yaitu Sordam dan Andung-andung. Komposisi ini menggunakan idiom musik dan karakter suara alat musik Sordam. Andung-Andung Ni Sordam merupakan musik komposisi gaya Fantasia yang digarap dalam bentuk tiga bagian dengan format orkestra. Dalam komposisi musik ini melodi dan pola ritme yang berangkat dari Andung-andung dan Sordam diambil sebagai gagasan yang digarap dalam sebuah komposisi musik instrumental. Dalam penggarapan komposisi musik Andung-andung Ni Sordam digunakan beberapa teknik pengolahan variasi motif seperti repitation, sequencing, imitasi, interpolasi, permutasi dan teknik komposisi seperti conterpoint,  ABSTRACTThe composition of music Andung-andung Ni Sordam is a composition inspired by instrument music traditional and traditional arts Batak Simalungun namely Sordam and Andung-andung.  This composition uses musical idioms and the sound characters of Sordam instruments. Andung-Andung Ni Sordam is a composition music with a Fantasia style worked in the form of three parts with an orchestral format. In this musical composition, melodies and rhythm patterns that depart from Andung-andung and Sordam are  taken as ideas that are worked on in an instrumental music composition. In the cultivation of Andung-andung Ni Sordam music composition,  several techniques for processing variations of motifs such as repitation, sequencing, imitation, interpolation, permutations and compositional techniques such as conterpoint, without losing the characteristics of Andung-andung and Sordam music

Abstract

This performance is a performance by an electric bass soloist who presents a repertoire entitled: spain, a technical approach applied in preparing to play the instrument, namely the Extreme Slap Bass etude guide: A Dictionary Of Grooves. The aim of this solo performance is to be able to present a repertoire of electric bass instruments through a technical approach based on applicable scientific principles. The resulting repertoire performance was 7 minutes long, presented at the Hoerijah Adam ISI Padangpanjang performance building. The solo performance was presented with a big band formation. The application of the technique to the Spanish repertoire uses electric bass instruments, and a slap technique approach that applies the etude Extreme Slap Bass: A Dictionary Of Grooves.

Abstract

Tambua Tansa is a Minangkabau tradition passed down from generation to generation in West Sumatra. One area that still pays attention to the existence of Tambua Tansa is Lubuk Basung, under Sanggar Shimpony Badantiang, founded by Marisha Isman in 2012. The focus of this research is on the form of Tambua Tansa performance developed by Sanggar Shimpony Badantiang, as well as the existence of this studio in Nagari Lubuk Basung. This research uses qualitative research methods, using a theoretical approach to performance forms and existence theory as supporting theories in examining the existence of Sanggar Shimpony Badantiang. The characteristics of the Tambua Tansa game use simple musical motifs which are then developed into songs. The songs that are often played in performances are divided into two songs, namely; Pangka Matam and Atam Panjang. The existence of Sanggar Shimpony Badantiang has been able to be maintained until now due to good organizational governance as well as creativity and innovation carried out by artists.

Abstract

Komposisi musik Fantasia Taur-taur  adalah komposisi yang berangkat dari salah satu kesenian Batak Simalungun yaitu Taur-taur Simbandar. Komposisi musik Fantasia Taur-taur merupakan musik komposisi dengan gaya Fantasia digarap dalam bentuk dua bagian dengan format orkestra. Pada komposisi musik ini, melodi dan pola ritme yang berangkat dari lagu Taur-taur Simbandar diambil sebagai ide garapan yang digarap dalam sebuah komposisi musik instrumental. Dalam penggarapan komposisi musik Fantasia Taur-taur digunakan beberapa teknik pengolahan variasi motif seperti repitisi, sequen, imitasi, diminusi tanpa menghilangkan ciri khas dari lagu Taur-taur Simbandar tersebut.. Abstract

Komposisi Sound Design Rumah Potong Hewan Padangpanjang adalah karya musik multimedia yang menggabungkan elemen bunyi organik dan buatan untuk menciptakan suasana yang menggambarkan aktivitas di Rumah Potong Hewan (RPH) Padangpanjang. Proses penciptaan melibatkan eksplorasi dan pengembangan bunyi, di mana berbagai suara lingkungan seperti jeritan hewan, asahan pisau, dan aktivitas pekerja direkam dan diolah menggunakan perangkat lunak Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) Studio One 6. Teknik sound design seperti splicing, equalizer, reverb, dan delay diaplikasikan untuk menghasilkan suara yang dinamis dan emosional.Karya ini terbagi menjadi dua bagian: pertama, menggambarkan semangat para pekerja melalui suara ritmis dan ceria; kedua, menciptakan suasana mencekam dari perspektif hewan yang dipotong. Dengan memadukan elemen alami dan teknologi, karya ini tidak hanya menghadirkan pengalaman audio yang mendalam tetapi juga memperkenalkan potensi sound design dalam musik digital kepada masyarakat luas. Selain itu, karya ini diharapkan menjadi referensi bagi mahasiswa seni musik untuk mengembangkan teknik sound design dalam komposisi multimedia.

Abstract

The sound composition of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Padang Panjang with the Studio One 5 Application is a process of creating musical works using digital technology. This musical composition originates from the activities of the academic community that took place in the environment of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Padang Panjang. The Studio One 5 application is used as a tool to process sounds taken from art education activities, then processed in a demicrophone manner to become a new sound composition. This composition was created with the aim of describing the atmosphere in the environment of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Padang Panjang which is presented through audio sound. The method of creating the sound composition of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Padang Panjang involves modern music production techniques. The stages of creation are by recording audio samples which are then processed through the Studio One 5 application, and given additions such as the use of sound effects, mixing, and digital mastering. After the entire music work is complete, the musical composition that originates from the sounds in the environment of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Padang Panjang then becomes a new musical composition entitled sound design isi padangpanjang.
