Abstract

Dalam rangka menurunkan stunting di Indonesia pemerintah telah menetapkan Strategi Nasional Percepatan penurunan stunting dalam waktu lima tahun ke depan. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah stunting diantaranya adalah memberikan edukasi dan penyuluhan bagi ibu hamil dan menyusui terkait stunting, pola asuh yang baik untuk mencegah stunting serta mendorong para ibu untuk senantiasa mencari informasi terkait asupan gizi dan nutrisi yang baik bagi tumbuh kembang anak. Dalam rangka pemenuhan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi tersebut, pengabdian terhadap masyarakat dilakukan oleh dosen. Sesuai kapasitas sebagai dosen keperawatan, maka bentuk pengabdian yang dapat dilakukan bagi masyarakat yaitu dalam bentuk edukasi pencegahan stunting pada anak. Hal ini merupakan wadah pembekalan dan pembelajaran dosen untuk menyalurkan pengetahuan keperawatan dalam mengamalkan profesionalisme ke tengah masyarakat. Metode pemberian ceramah dan diskusi baik secara langsung maupun lewat wa dengan sample accidental sampling seluruh orangtua yang anaknya dirawat di ruang dahlia RSUD Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal. Hasil pengabdian pada masyarakat ini keluarga mampu memahami dan definisi peningkatan pengetahuan dan mengenal cara pencegahan stunting serta meningkatnya kemampuan masyarakat pencegahan stunting pada anak . Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat disarankan dapat dilakukan secara rutin pada setiap semester, supaya ilmu yang dimiliki bermanfaat bagi sesama. Dukungan moral dan materi akan sangat membantu kegiatan edukasi dan pengabdian masyarakat ini, yang dengan semangat kemanusiaan dan pengabdian masyarakat mampu memberikan pengetahuan mencegah dan penurunan stunting kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Nursing round is an activity that aimed at overcoming nursing problems on clients carried out by nurses with involved patients or families actively in discussions and examining nursing problems and also evaluating the results of actions that have been taken. Knowledge about nursing rounds that are not owned by nurses will have impact on existing treatment in the hospital and also have effect on the implementation of nursing rounds that are not optimal due to nurses' lack of knowledge about nursing rounds in hospitals that are rarely carried out and not only performed on patients with certain problems. The purpose of this study is to find out description of nurse knowledge about nursing rounds in the inpatient room of regional public hospital Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal. This study uses descriptive analytic. Quantitative design is used in this study. The sampling technique used is Purposive (Purposive Sampling). The sample in this study are 124 respondents. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics. Research data was collected by distributing questionnaires without leaving anything behind after the researcher and enumerator explain the aims and objectives and respondents who are willing to sign an informed consent form become respondents. The results of this study indicate that moderate nursing round knowledge reach 94 (75.8%). The nurse only knows basically about the nursing round and does not know in theory.

Abstract

Sasaran keselamatan pasien merupakan syarat untuk diterapkan disemua Rumah Sakit yang diakreditasikan KARS (2017) yang mengacu pada Nine Life-Safing Patient Safety WHO dan Joint Commision International (JCI). Dalam rangka penerapan sasaran keselamatan pasien, salah satunya dilakukan pencegahan dan pengurangan resiko infeksi terkait pelayanan kesehatan. Dalam rangka pemenuhan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi tersebut, pengabdian terhadap masyarakat dilakukan oleh dosen. Sesuai kapasitas sebagai dosen keperawatan, maka bentuk pengabdian yang dapat dilakukan bagi masyarakat yaitu dalam bentuk edukasi pencegahan pencegahan dan pengurangan resiko infeksi terkait pelayanan kesehatan kepada pasien dan keluarga pasien. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat disarankan dapat dilakukan secara rutin pada setiap semester, supaya ilmu yang dimiliki bermanfaat bagi sesama. Dukungan moral dan materi akan sangat membantu kegiatan edukasi dan pengabdian masyarakat ini, yang dengan semangat kemanusiaan dan pengabdian masyarakat mampu memberikan pengetahuan mencegah resiko infeksi dan peningkatan keselamatan pasien.

Abstract

The advocate is an act by the nurse to defend and protect the rights of the patient, to improve what is best for the patient, to meet the patient’s need. Implementation of the nurse’s role as advocate is very important for the patient. This study aims to know the description of the implementation of the role of nurse as advocates in patient. This research uses quantitative method with decriptive observational research design and approach is done by survey. The sample in this research were 242 patients in the class III inpatient room at Soewondo Kendal hospital using proportional stratified random sampling of 611 population. Research shows that the implementation of the role of nurse as an advocate on this patient has been done fairly well. Can be concluded that the implementation of the role of nurse as an advocate in patients in Soewondo Kendal hospital has been implemented with good results. Based on the results of research, it is advisable for hospitals to maintain service and improve the quality of good service with always respect the right of patients. Hospitals are expected to conduct training or seminars for nurses about the role of advocates in patients.

Abstract

Headache is a common complaint in hypertension sufferers. Pain management using deep breathing relaxation therapy can stimulate the body to release endogenous opioids, namely endorphins and enphekalins, which are useful for reducing pain. Likewise, music therapy can also reduce pain by distracting a person from the sensation of pain. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in effectiveness of deep breathing relaxation therapy and music therapy in reducing hypertension pain in Pegandon Village, Pegandon District. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test post-test with a control group. The research instrument used a Numeric Rating Scale observation sheet. The study population was patients with hypertension. The total sample was 42 respondents, divided into 2 groups: 21 respondents with deep breathing relaxation therapy, and 21 respondents with control, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used the Independent Sample T-Test. The results of the study obtained a p-value in the group after deep breathing relaxation therapy and the control group of 0.372>0.05, meaning there was no significant difference between the deep breathing relaxation therapy group and the control group in reducing hypertension pain in Pegandon Village, Pegandon District.

Abstract

Communication is a very special and important process in relationships. Communication is more important in the nursing profession because interpersonal communication is the starting point of mutual understanding between nurses and patients. because communication is a basic need between nurses and patients, it can be categorized as face-to-face communication between nurses and patients, nurse support, patient support. meet patient needs. The aim of this research is to determine the level of patient satisfaction with nurses' therapeutic communication during the work phase at RSI Muhammadiyah Kendal. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The sample used in this research was 50 respondents. The research technique used was purposive sampling with a cross sectional approach, to make data collection easier, the tool used was a therapeutic communication questionnaire. Analyze univariate data to obtain the frequency distribution of each variable. The results of research on respondent satisfaction levels show that respondents who choose the satisfaction level of "Satisfied" are 28.0% and respondents who choose the satisfaction level of "very satisfied" are 72.0%, and the results of research based on therapeutic communication show that respondents who choose therapeutic communication are "not good" 12.0% and those who choose communication was “good” as much as 88.0%. Quality care services are not only determined by accuracy in providing them, but by building communication relationships that can heal patients (therapeutic communication).

Abstract

The increasing number of elderly will affect various aspects of elderly life, especially in terms of health and welfare of the elderly. Problems that arise make the ability to do activities decrease, one of which is the ability to perform self-care. Factors that cause a person to experience a self-care deficit include musculoskeletal disorders, neuromuscular disorders, weakness, psychological disorders and decreased motivation/interest. This study aims to describe the causes of self-care deficit disorder in the elderly in Cepiring. The type of research method chosen is descriptive analysis. The sample used using purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study were 86 respondents aged 60-80 years and experiencing self-care deficits. Data collection in this study used the Standard Nordic Questionnaire (SNQ). Data analysis uses frequency distribution to determine the number of musculoskeletal disorders. The results of the study most of the respondents experienced low Musculoskeletal Disorders as many as 46 (53.5%) respondents.
