Abstract

Indonesia konsumsi garam  rata-rata masyarakat 15 gram/hari sedangkan dalam anjuran WHO maksimal 6gram atau satu sendok teh dalam sehari dan dapat memicu munculnya masalah hipertensi khusunya pada lansia, jika tidak didukung dari keluarga . Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu Untuk mengetahui ?Dukungan Family Cregiver pada lansia  maka peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian yang berjudul ?Dukungan Family caregiver dengan Kepatuahn Diet Rendah Garam Pada Lansia di Kelurahan Ngilir Kecamatan Kota Kendal?Jumlah lansia  70 yang berusia 60 tahun keatas dengan family caregiver masing-masing. Penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Dukungan rata-rata  tidak baik 36 (51,4%) tidak patuh 41 (58,6%) lebih banyak yang tidak patuh. Terdapat hubungan antara dukungan family caregiver dengan kepatuhan lansia konsumsi garam dengan diatas  nilai ? value 0,001 (? < 0,05). Kata kunci : dukungan family caregiver, diet rendah garam, lansia FAMILY CAREGIVER SUPPORT WITH LOW SALT DIET COMPLIANCE IN ELDERLY ABSTRACT Indonesia has an average salt consumption of 15 grams / day while the WHO recommends a maximum of 6 grams or one teaspoon a day and can trigger hypertension problems especially in the elderly, if not supported by the family. The purpose of this study is to find out "Family Cregiver Support in the elderly, researchers are interested in conducting a study entitled" Family Caregiver Support with Low Salt Diet Management in the Elderly in Ngilir Village, Kendal City District "Number of elderly 70 aged 60 years and over with family caregiver each. Analytical research methods with cross section approach. The results of the average support were not good 36 (51.4%) were not compliant 41 (58.6%) more were not compliant. Abstract

Hypertension is often referred to as the "silent killer", because hypertension sufferers often go years without experiencing any problems or symptoms. Without realizing it, hypertension sufferers experience complications in vital organs such as the heart, brain or kidneys. The aim of this research is to provide hypertension exercise therapy to reduce blood pressure in the elderly. This scientific study uses the hypertension exercise method once a day for 3 days. The results of blood pressure checks before and after applying hypertension exercises to the patient were 180/110 mmHg to 172/100 mmHg. The conclusion was that after implementing hypertension exercises for 3 days, there was a decrease in blood pressure in hypertensive patients. You should be able to carry out hypertension exercises independently to help reduce or control blood pressure.

Abstract

Tissue damage due to pressure on soft tissue, decubitus often occurs in patients who are bedridden for long periods of time. One way to prevent pressure ulcers is by massaging using moisturizer such as pure coconut oil and doing Range Of Motion (ROM). This scientific research aims to determine the effectiveness of bed shifting or Range Of Motion (ROM) as an effort to prevent pressure ulcers. The ROM method is carried out 3 days in a row every 2 hours in the morning, afternoon, and evening. After implementing ROM (Range Of Motion) result obtained in these patients for 3 days periodically showed a reduction in complaints of pain when lying in bed. The ROM (Range Of Motion) method has been proven to be effective in preventing pressure ulcers in stroke patient who are bedridden for a long time. The ROM (Range Of Motion) method is very effective in helping prevent decubitus in bed rest patients such as stroke.

Abstract

Ostearthritis, a type of arthritis that often occurs in the elderly, is a degenerative disease, which is chronic. One way to treat osteoarthritis in the elderly is to carry out osteoarthritis therapy by doing joint movement exercises, one of which is Hot Relax. This scientific research aims to find out the effectiveness of Hot Relax therapy exercises to reduce pain. This scientific study uses a nursing care approach method that applies Hot relax exercise therapy. This Hot Relax therapy exercise method is carried out 3 days in a row for 20 minutes every day. As a result of Hold Relax therapy exercises, patients experienced a reduction in pain and were able to carry out activities even with a little help.

Abstract

Parkinson's disease is the second most common neurodegenerative disorder suffered by many people after Alzheimer's disease. Parkinson's disease sufferers experience several symptoms, such as intellectual and behavioral disorders, dementia, memory loss, muscle weakness, catalepsy (slow and stiff movements) and tremors. Parkinson's disease is a disease that includes brain nerve disorders that trigger various problems such as the body's motor skills. Objective to provide information about the treatment of stretching exercise therapy to Parkinson's patients in increasing muscle strength, muscle balance, and fluency in communicating with everyone. The case study in this research uses a nursing approach method, such as assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The intervention given to patients in this study was walking exercises with parallel bar physiotherapy. After being carried out for 3 days, it was able to increase muscle strength in Parkinson's patients, for example the patient showed that he could walk with the help of a nurse. Providing stretching exercise therapy intervention can improve balance in the leg muscles.

Abstract

A person who has reached the age of 60 years and over will experience an aging process which is characterized by changes such as decreased memory, muscles that are no longer flexible, decreased hearing and vision function, and problems walking. Barriers to walking can cause limitations in moving independently using the feet in an environment to be disrupted because it can slow down something a person is doing. Barriers to walking in the elderly are characterized by several characteristics, including obesity. This study aims to determine the characteristics of obesity in elderly people with walking obstacles in Kendal Indonesia. The design of this research is descriptive qualitative. The research population was 45 elderly people using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using the Body Mass Index (BMI) calculations as an International standard. Body mass index (BMI) is the method of utilizing an adult's height and weight to broadly place them into underweight, normal weight, overweight and obese categories. BMI can be calculated using metric or imperial (US) units.The results of this study showed that thin body weight (6.7%), normal body weight (68.9%), fat body weight (13.3%), and obese body weight (11.1%). Obesity causes obstacles to walking.

Abstract

Deteksi dini kondisi kritis lansia, perlu dilakukan pelatihan pemeriksaan tanda-tanda vital. Pemeriksaan ini merupakan upaya dalam mendeteksi dini adanya perubahan system yang ada dalam tubuh, meliputi, denyut nadi, Pengukuran sturasi oksigen dan tekanan darah. Perubahan tanda vital dapat terjadi bila tubuh dalam keadaan sakit atau kelelahan, khususnya pada lansia. Dalam kegiatan ini betujuan memberikan edukasi pada para pelaku rawat agar dapat mengetahui definisi, manfaat, serta cara pengukuran tanda-tanda vital tersebut, selain itu juga mampu memahami, tanda gejala dan tindakan pada kondisi kritis lansia Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini berupa pemberian edukasi pemeriksaan tanda-tanda vital guna deteksi dini masalah kesehatan pada lansia oleh para pelaku rawat di Panti Pelayanan Sosial Lanjut Usia. Pengabdian ini diikuti oleh 13 Penerima manfaat di masing-masing wisma, dimulai dari appersepsi pemahaman tentang pemeriksaan TTV Pengukuran tekanan darah, Nadi dan Saturasi oksigen, kontrak waktu. Tahap awal memberikan penjelasan tentang TTV cara dan manfaat, dilanjutkan dengan demonstrasi yang diikuti oleh semua penerima manfaat, hingga bisa melakukanya dengan mandiri. Hasil pengabdian pada masyarakat ini Para pelaku rawat mampu memahami tentang definisi, manfaat, tanda gejala dan cara dari pemeriksaan tanda-tanda vital serta mampu melakukan tindakan pemeriksaan tekanan darah, pengukuran nadi serta pemeriksaan saturasi oksigen dengan baik.

Abstract

Stunting or short stature is a condition of impaired growth and development in infants and toddlers caused by chronic malnutrition, resulting in the child being too short for their age. The prevalence in Kendal Regency has decreased, but it has not yet met the target. Objective to describe the maternal pregnancy history of children with stunting. This is a quantitative study using a retrospective approach. The population in this study consists of mothers with toddlers experiencing stunting, located in the stunting locus health centers in Kendal Regency, totaling 680 individuals. The sample was selected using a purposive technique with a cluster sampling approach, with a total sample size of 251 participants. The characteristics of the respondents show that the average age of the mothers is 28 years, with 115 mothers (45.8%) having a high school education. The majority of mothers are unemployed or housewives, totaling 110 (43.8%). Male toddlers account for 132 (52.6%) of the sample, and 132 (52.6%) of the mothers have toddlers classified as severely stunted. The maternal pregnancy history reveals that the majority, 233 (92.8%), are at risk due to factors such as pregnancy spacing, body stature, pregnancy planning, iron (Fe) supplement intake, nutritional intake, prenatal checkups, pregnancy-related hypertension, anemia during pregnancy, pregnancy contractions, and rest patterns.

Abstract

Nursing round is an activity that aimed at overcoming nursing problems on clients carried out by nurses with involved patients or families actively in discussions and examining nursing problems and also evaluating the results of actions that have been taken. Knowledge about nursing rounds that are not owned by nurses will have impact on existing treatment in the hospital and also have effect on the implementation of nursing rounds that are not optimal due to nurses' lack of knowledge about nursing rounds in hospitals that are rarely carried out and not only performed on patients with certain problems. The purpose of this study is to find out description of nurse knowledge about nursing rounds in the inpatient room of regional public hospital Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal. This study uses descriptive analytic. Quantitative design is used in this study. The sampling technique used is Purposive (Purposive Sampling). The sample in this study are 124 respondents. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics. Research data was collected by distributing questionnaires without leaving anything behind after the researcher and enumerator explain the aims and objectives and respondents who are willing to sign an informed consent form become respondents. The results of this study indicate that moderate nursing round knowledge reach 94 (75.8%). The nurse only knows basically about the nursing round and does not know in theory.

Abstract

Latar belakang proses menua lansia memberikan dampak pada berbagai aspek kehidupan, terutama kesehatan, dengan bertambahnya usia, fungsi organ tubuh semakin menurun. salah satunya permasalahan Atritis Reumatoid yang sering terjadi pada lansia akibat proses menua diantaranya kurangnya gerakan pada daerah persendian atau aktivitas tubuh. hingga mengalami hambatan dalam berjalan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui gambaran hambatan jalan yang mencakup kemampuan menanjak, menurun, permukaan datar, naik tangga, menyusuri tepi dan berjalan dengan jarak tertentu. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain diskripsi survey, teknik total sampling dengan jumlah populasi sampel 50 lansia di PPSLU Cepiring Kendal dengan quesioner. Hasil ketidakmampuan berjalan menanjak sebanyak 80%, ketidakmampuan berjalan menurun 72%, ketidakmampuan berjalan di jalan rata 68%, Ketidakmampuan menaiki tangga 78% dan ketidakmampuan berjalan menyusuri tepi 76%, serta ketidakmampuan menyusuri jalan tertentu sebanyak 76%. Dalam upaya pemberian pelayanan perawatan pada lansia sangat penting pemantauan terkait dengan fungsi gerak motorik guna mengkaji kemampuan aktivitas lansia.
