Abstract

In today's age of globalization, information technology is advancing rapidly. In the case of computers, created to facilitate human work, the advances are both in the production of hardware and software. PT. Giordano Indonesia urgently needs an information system that can support its customers and provide them with satisfactory service. For this reason, the author is trying to create a final project about the goods transfer system on PT. Giordano Indonesia which has not been computerized yet. At this time PT. Giordano Indonesia is a company that operates in the retail sector. The existing system at PT. Giordano Indonesia is still operated manually, starting from data recording of goods to reporting, which includes the process of goods transfer, goods receipt data, goods issue data, storage of other data related to inventory, and report generation, which may cause errors in recording, inaccurate reports, and delays in finding the required data during the process. The development of this information system is the best solution to the problems that exist in this company and with a computerised system, effective and efficient activity can be achieved in supporting the activities in this company. The computerised system is better than the manual system to work more effectively and efficiently, and the current sales system is more conducive than the previous system.

Abstract

Information technology is currently developing very quickly. Hardware and software are tools created to facilitate human work. PT Media Nusantara Citra is a company engaged in the field of information media; of course, it is very dependent on information systems in its operations. This is to provide support and make it easy to make decisions. And one of them that is still managed manually is the management of visitor activity data in the PT Media Nusantara Citra data center. Departing from this, the author chose the theme of the web-based Visitor Management Information System at PT Media Nusantara Citra, what is currently happening in the management of visitor data in the data center is the inaccuracy of visitor data every day, and the lack of efficiency in document recording and storage, starting from recording data processing of incoming visitor activities, recording various types of visitor data activities that have been completed, to preparing reports on incoming visitor data activities and various types of visitor activities that have been completed, the authors propose a web-based Visitor Management Information System to be a solution to some of the above, and information system-based visitor data management is expected to increase effectiveness and efficiency in data management.

Abstract

This study evaluates the usability of the authentication feature in the Andal by Taspen application for pensioners, focusing on challenges faced by elderly users, as initial reviews indicate issues with its effectiveness. Objective: This study aims to assess the usability of the Andal by Taspen authentication feature using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, identify usability issues affecting elderly users, and provide recommendations for improvement. Specifically, the study focuses on evaluating whether the selfie-based authentication process meets the needs of elderly pensioners, who may face challenges in digital literacy and physical limitations. Methodology: This quantitative study involved distributing the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire to PT Taspen pensioners in the Cempaka Putih District, Jakarta. The responses were analyzed using the SUS method to generate a usability score for the authentication feature and to identify areas for improvement. Findings: The findings reveal that the Andal by Taspen authentication feature received a SUS score of 61, which corresponds to Grade D on the SUS scale, with an adjective rating of "OK" and an acceptability range classified as "Marginal (Acceptable)." The primary issues identified include difficulties in the self-authentication process, particularly for elderly users, as well as challenges related to digital literacy and physical constraints. Implications: The study recommends the development of an heir-based authentication feature to assist elderly pensioners in the authentication process. Additionally, the study emphasizes the importance of improving digital literacy among elderly users to ensure that they can effectively use digital platforms. Originality: This research offers a unique contribution to the field of digital public services by providing an empirical evaluation of selfie-based biometric authentication in mobile applications for elderly users, a topic that remains underexplored in existing literature. The findings provide valuable insights into the usability challenges faced by older adults, particularly in the context of pension services, and propose actionable solutions to enhance accessibility and usability.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada digitalisasi administrasi dan pelaporan organisasi untuk mendukung penguatan kapasitas kepemudaan. Program ini dirancang sebagai respons terhadap kebutuhan mendesak Jaringan Pemuda dan Remaja Masjid Indonesia (JPRMI) untuk mencapai tata kelola yang lebih transparan dan efisien di era digital. Tim pengabdian memperkenalkan konsep smart manajemen yang meliputi pencatatan data anggota, pengelolaan dokumen, dan penyusunan laporan berbasis aplikasi digital. Pelatihan yang diberikan mencakup pengoptimalan penggunaan aplikasi office seperti mail merge untuk menunjang pekerjaan kesekretariatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah one day workshop secara luring yang dilaksanakan dengan ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik langsung bagi para peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi sederhana namun tepat guna berhasil meningkatkan kualitas tata kelola organisasi. Seluruh responden (100%) menyatakan puas hingga sangat puas terhadap keseluruhan kegiatan, menunjukkan dampak positif yang signifikan. Program digitalisasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model replikasi bagi organisasi kepemudaan lainnya yang berupaya profesional dan adaptif terhadap transformasi digital
