Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of price and accessibility on visiting intentions and their effect on increasing entrepreneurial actors in Lake Cipondoh. This type of research is descriptive quantitative using the path analysis method. The population of this study consisted of all visitors to Lake Cipondoh, and the number of samples used was 150 respondents. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling. The results of the study show that (1) Price and accessibility have a significant effect on visiting intentions; (2) Interest has a significant effect on increasing the number of entrepreneurs. Research conducted by Nurbaeti et al. (2021) aligns with this research, which shows that parking ticket fees, entrance tickets, and entertainment prices are very cheap and affordable. Therefore, visitors are interested in visiting tourist destinations that are more affordable financially. Paved and concrete roads, many and varied types of public transportation, and clear road signs make visitors interested in coming to tourist destinations. Interest in visiting tourist destinations influences the increased demand for food and beverages, providing business actors with opportunities to establish food and dining stalls in tourist destinations.

Abstract

The transition toward a green economy requires rural communities to adopt innovative strategies that integrate sustainable agriculture, technological advancement, and tourism-based economic development. Wonosalam Village in Jombang Regency, Indonesia, possesses considerable potential to support this transformation due to its fertile agroforestry landscapes, abundant biodiversity, agricultural productivity, and rapidly growing eco-tourism sector. This study examines the synergistic integration of agricultural automation and sustainable tourism as a strategic approach to improving food self-sufficiency, increasing rural income, and strengthening the local green economy. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining field surveys, participatory rural appraisal, direct observation, and stakeholder interviews involving farmers, tourism operators, local government officials, and community leaders. In addition, pilot implementations of small-scale automation technologies were conducted in horticultural and livestock production systems to assess their operational effectiveness and socio-economic impact. The findings indicate that the adoption of smart farming technologies, including automated irrigation systems, precision nutrient delivery, environmental monitoring sensors, and solar-powered post-harvest processing facilities, significantly improves resource efficiency, productivity, and product quality while reducing production costs and environmental pressures. Furthermore, the integration of agricultural activities with tourism experiences creates diversified income opportunities through farm-based recreation, agrotourism attractions, local product marketing, and educational programs focused on sustainable farming practices. The model also supports the principles of a circular economy by utilizing agricultural by-products as resources for tourism activities, organic fertilizer production, and environmental conservation initiatives. Community participation and stakeholder collaboration were identified as key factors for successful implementation. Overall, the study demonstrates that the integration of agricultural automation and sustainable tourism can enhance rural economic resilience, promote environmental sustainability, and contribute to the development of secure and sustainable food systems. The proposed model offers a practical and replicable framework for other rural regions seeking to achieve green economic growth and long-term community prosperity

Abstract

This study examines how urban mobility, accessibility, and mobility justice shape tourism flows in Jakarta, a rapidly developing metropolitan destination. It investigates the gap between planned accessibility in transport infrastructure and the actual accessibility experienced by tourists and local residents in their daily mobility practices. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with tourism and transport authorities, community representatives, and visitors, supplemented by field observations and analysis of relevant policy documents. The data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns related to accessibility, walkability, last-mile connectivity, and mobility justice. The findings reveal that despite improvements in multimodal transport systems and pedestrian infrastructure, accessibility remains uneven across the city. Challenges such as inadequate last-mile connectivity, discontinuous walkways, and inconsistent barrier-free design continue to shape visitor movement and reinforce mobility inequalities, particularly for residents of informal settlements and vulnerable groups. The novelty of this research lies in integrating mobility justice into urban tourism analysis by linking transport planning intentions with lived mobility experiences in a Global South megacity context. This study highlights the need to embed mobility justice principles in urban tourism and transport planning to ensure inclusive, sustainable, and human-centered development in Jakarta.
