Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify educators' strategies in instilling moral education in the digital era. This article is based on a literature review method, allowing the author to gather various relevant information. Educators' strategies in embedding moral education in the digital era aim to facilitate teaching processes using technology. Digitalization impacts life order, mindset changes, and lifestyle shifts. A common concern is internet misuse, potentially causing moral degradation among students. Moral education is crucial from an early age, as it is the optimal time to provide positive stimuli to children. Early moral education significantly influences a child's moral development and is a primary priority for both parents at home and educators at school. Effective moral education requires appropriate methods to help children self-regulate in digital media usage, leveraging technological advancements for beneficial purposes. Applicable methods in the digital era include exemplification, habituation, advice, attention, punishment, and supervision.

Abstract

Innovation in the development of educational materials based on digital technology is crucial, especially in the context of increasingly challenging daring learning. The purpose of this study is to investigate various methods and effects of using digital learning materials in the era of Industry 4.0. The method used is a systematic literature review (SLR), which analyzes 25 pertinent articles. The results indicate that multimedia applications such as video, animation, and interactive writing can improve students' understanding of PAI material. However, there are still certain drawbacks, such as the slowness of digital infrastructure and the lack of teacher proficiency while using technology. This study suggests that in order to achieve effective education, there needs to be a shift toward digital learning materials that are engaging and relevant to students' needs.

Abstract

Learning media plays an important role in attracting students' interest in learning. However, its utilization has not been optimal, resulting in low learning enthusiasm. This study aims to examine the use of interactive videos to improve critical thinking skills of grade XI students in the Al-Qur'an and Hadith subjects at MAN 2 Garut. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation. The results showed that interactive videos received positive responses from teachers (73.3%) and students (65%), and were able to improve students' critical thinking skills (N-Gain 48%), although its effectiveness was still relatively low. Meanwhile, the control class actually experienced a decline. In conclusion, interactive videos are better than conventional media, but not yet fully effective.
