Abstract

Renewable energy use is a primary needs because high population increases will incline electrical energy demand. Noticeably, one kind of renewable energy application is in Mini Hydro Power Plant Lubuk Sao to supply electrical power to Lubuk Basung sub district in Agam District. This power plant with capacity 2.6 MW uses water waste from Maninjau power plant and will be operated in year 2015. Furthermore, electrical demand in Lubuk Basung will incline because of the movement of Agam government central to this area. In order to prevent the energy deficit in Lubuk Basung, it is needed the electrical forecasting method, i.e. SPSS Linear Regression Method. Based on the calculation of peak load inLubuk Basung, this area requires 44.65 MW electrical power in year 2016. It means the electrical power supplyfrom Mini hydro power plant Lubuk Sao in value 2.6 MW can supply apart of electrical demand in LubukBasung and the rest, i.e. 42.05 MW should be supplied by Maninjau power plant with the estimation of electricalpower form Maninjau power plant will be 58.05 MW in 2016. The rest electrical power in value 16 MW can betransmitted to other areas

Abstract

Saat ini keramik dan epoxy resin telah digunakan di banyak sektor. Dalam teknik listrik, keramik dan epoxy resin dapat digunakan untuk isolasi. Untuk mengetahui karakteristik dari bahan yang digunakan, maka beberapa pengujian dilakukan seperti pengujian listrik dan pengujian fisik. Karakteristik listrik yang akan diperiksa diperkirakan dari tegangan lewat dan arus bocor. Karakteristik fisik yang akan diuji adalah hidrofobik. Fenomena lain yang akan diuji adalah pengaruh lengkung pita kering untuk kinerja isolator. Pita kering yang terbentuk dipermukaan isolator karena polusi tinggi dan kelembaban lingkungan. Kejadian ini akan merusak isolator. Pada penelitian ini keramik dan resin epoksi akan diuji karakteristik dalam ruang yang konsisi iklm suka tropis. Jadi data tentang keramik dan resin epoksi akan didapatkan di semua jenis polusi, kelembaban dan suhu di lingkungan tropis. Hubungi sudut isolator keramik sebelum kebocoran pengukuran saat ini adalah 25 derajat sedangkan untuk isolator epoxy resin adalah 88derajat. Ini berarti bahwa isolator epoxy resin adalah lebih hidrofobik dari keramik isolator. Arus bocor isolatorkeramik dalam kondisi bersih pada suhu 25  C dan kelembaban 70-80% menjadipeduli dengan 1,15-22,90 μA sedangkan arus bocor isolator epoxyresin menjadiprihatin dengan 1,08-21,80 μA. Setelah karakteristik dari bahan tersebut telah didapat, karakteristik kebocoran saatini dan eksi tegangan flashover . Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, keramik isolator yang sesuaidigunakan dalam isolator resin epoksi dan dataran rendah yang cocok digunakan dalam dataran tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership, personal value, and organizational commitment on the performance of millennial employees with motivation as an intervening variable on millennial employees of internet service provider companies in Batam. This type of research is associative causality. This research was conducted using a survey method by distributing questionnaires. The population of this research is three internet service provider companies domiciled in Batam Center. Data analysis methods used are descriptive statistical analysis and Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis. The analysis was assisted with the Smart PLS 3.0 program. The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership and organizational commitment significantly influence the performance of millennial employees of internet service provider companies in Batam while personal value has no significant effect. transformational leadership has no significant effect on motivation, while personal values and organizational commitment have a significant effect on motivation. The transformational leadership, personal value, and organizational commitment indirectly have insignificant effect on the performance of millennial employees of internet service provider companies in Batam with motivation as an intervening variable. transformational leadership has no significant effect on motivation, while personal values and organizational commitment have a significant effect on motivation. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Competence, Job Sress, and Perceptual Organizational Support on Performance with Organizational Commitment as an Intervening Variable on Tanjungpinang City government employees. This type of research is associative causality. This research was conducted using a survey method by distributing questionnaires from government agencies in the Tanjungpinang City Government. The population of this study was all Regional Apparatus Organizations in Tanjungpinang City Government, totaling 31 Regional Apparatus Organizations, consisting of 97 sample respondents including the Head of Financial Subdivision, Head of Program Subdivision, Program Subdivision Secretary, Secretary, Development and Development Division of Control Programs in the Planning Agency, Development, Research and Development of Tanjungpinang City, and Inspectorate auditors. Data analysis methods used are descriptive statistical analysis and Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis. The results of this study indicate that competence has a significant effect on performance, work stress and perceived organizational support has no significant effect on performance. Competence does not significantly influence organizational commitment. Job stress and perceived organizational support have a significant effect on organizational commitment. Organizational commitment has no significant effect on performance. Indirectly, organizational commitment mediates the relationship of competence and organizational support, but does not mediate the relationship between work stress and performance

Abstract

The success of the application of patient safety in hospitals, among others, is measured by how much the productivity of nurses in providing quality nursing care to patients and their families. Factors that influence patient safety: organization (safety culture), work environment, individual factors and citizenship behavior, work behavior, teamwork structure and (servant) leadership. In this regard, the purpose of this literature review study is to prove the influence of servant leadership, organizational safety culture and work environment on OCB in the application of patient safety with affective organizational commitment in hospital. This literature review is based on literature sources and related scientific research journals. The method used in this paper is to search from the EBSCO, ProQuest, and Google Scholar databases using keywords servant leadership, organizational safety culture, work environment, OCB, and patient safety. The study population was health workers in the hospital, which measures in the construction are 54 respondents, with a random sampling technique as the sample of the population. The data were analyzed using parametric and non-parametric statistics with SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square). The research proves that: Servant leaders and organizational safety culture that is applied, as well as a supportive work environment, have a positive influence on OCB in the application of patient safety in hospitals. Furthermore, it is expected that nurse managers will be able to implement servant leadership and safety culture as well as adequate work environment support so that OCB in implementing patient safety can run optimally, this can be assessed based on patient safety incidents and service quality as hospital brand equity.

Abstract

After the Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia, the government through the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) formulated several new policies to restore the tourism economy in Indonesia. The government also believes that this policy can attract foreign tourists to visit Indonesia, especially Bali, Batam and Bintan. Tourists can enjoy various tourist destinations in Batam. Glory Melur Beach is also one of the tourist attractions visited by many local and foreign tourists. Glory Melur Beach has various facilities that can be rented, but information regarding the rental of facilities is still limited. Purpose: For this reason, this study aims to create a web-based information system that can manage and disseminate information on Glory Melur beach tourism. Methodology: The system development method used is waterfall modeling. With this system, it is hoped that visitors can easily find out information about entrance ticket prices, rental rates for facilities and can find out information on the availability of halls at Glory Melur Beach because it can be accessed anywhere and anytime in any place that is connected to the internet. For this reason, in the future, Glory Melur beach management must always update the existing database with the latest tourism development information and complete this system according to technological developments by adding more complete features according to the needs of visitors. Results: The results of this study are to attract foreign and local tourists, the authors will create an information system on Glory Melur Beach. With this information system, it can make it easier for visitors to find information about the facilities and rental prices available at Glory Melur Beach. With this online Hall ordering system, it can make it easier for visitors and officers of Glory Melur Beach to easily order and manage the Hall, because it can be accessed anywhere and anytime in an internet-connected place.

Abstract

Monitoring the security of the SMFR server room is one of the problems at the Batam Class II Radio Frequency Spectrum Monitoring Center, especially against fire hazards. Purpose: To control hazards that can interact with the internet as part of the IoT (Internet of things) so that early detection of fires can be carried out at any time and via a smartphone that displays data from fire sensors, smoke sensors and sensors, while the control measures are activation of alarms, exhausts, openings doors and windows as well as LEDs as fire extinguisher activation indicators so as to minimize equipment damage in the SMFR server room. Methodology: The implementation method used is the design and manufacture of server room miniatures, the design and manufacture of a control system using the Arduino Mega 2560, the design and manufacture of IoT monitoring and control as well as tool testing. Results: From the test results, when the input sensor data, namely fire, temperature and smoke, do not meet these conditions, there will be no fire, all fire handling actions are not active. However, if all the conditions for the input sensor data are met and the threshold value is determined, i.e. there is a smoke fire >37 ppm and a temperature >37? then these conditions will trigger a fire so that all fire handling actions in the form of alarms, exhausts, doors, windows, and LEDs will active. As well as sending fire notifications to Smartphones so that fire events can be detected and handled early. IoT-based testing is carried out using a 4G network, The test results show that Blynk supports capable IoT but depending on the type of real-time connection, the type of network connection used provides varying delay effects. The average delay that 4G produces is  1 to 5 seconds.

Abstract

The people of Kampung Karet, Nongsa District, most of them still don't understand about electrical installations, the condition of the electrical installation system in people's homes and especially places of worship (mosques) are still many that do not comply with general regulations regarding electrical installations. Apart from that, there are still many connections. -connection of electrical installations carried out by the community itself which does not comply with regulations. Community service by providing counseling and going directly to see the location that is the target of carrying out service activities, namely the Al-Ikhlas mosque. By holding community service (PKM), the residents of Rubber Village will understand how to install electricity properly, correctly and safely. The equipment selected for installation in an electrical installation must meet applicable standards and must be suitable for its environment. Installation of equipment must comply with the provisions in PUIL, and match the equipment manufacturer's instructions. Electrical installations must be regularly inspected and tested for misuse, damage or poor installation, including loose connections. To protect against leakage currents, an ELCB can be installed. In order to achieve an increase in public knowledge and understanding about the importance of electrical hazards, this activity needs to be sustainable.

Abstract

In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digital literacy becomes crucial in facing rapid technological changes. The digital literacy program at the "Istana Yatim Al-Jufri" Orphanage aims to enhance children's understanding and digital skills. Through training, interaction with parents, and the use of interactive learning resources, this program creates a safe learning environment in the digital age. Periodic evaluations are conducted to ensure the program's effectiveness, while collaboration with universities and communities helps enrich this initiative. This abstract also underscores the importance of digital literacy in addressing the negative impacts of the internet, such as the spread of hoaxes and unhealthy internet behavior. The community service activities organized by the Information Systems Study Program of the University of Batam and Universiti Teknologi Mara Cawangan Johor Malaysia aim to enhance the digital literacy of children and adolescents, focusing on wise and productive use of digital technology. In conclusion, the digital literacy program at the Orphanage has successfully increased understanding and community support for digital literacy, with recommendations to continue developing the program and increasing parental participation and digital access in the orphanage.

Abstract

In today's fast-changing and competitive business era, the application of an effective human resource management approach is essential to sustain business progress. Furthermore, this dedication report explores the various ways in which organizations can achieve sustainable progress by implementing human resource management strategies that emphasize innovation, sustainability, and ethics. The method of implementing community service uses a qualitative approach with the type of Participatory Action Research (PAR). Participatory Action Research is a relevant method related to community empowerment with the application of three steps, including planning, action, and evaluation. Furthermore, community service activities that focus on increasing the capacity of human resources to increase competitiveness as business capital run in a systematic way.
