Abstract

Energi listrik merupakan kebutuhan primer yang digunakan dalam kehidupan. Energi listrik dapa bersrumber dari banyak hal seperti energi batu bara, minyak, angin, nuklir serta energi matahari. Energi matahari merupakan salah satu energi terbarukan yang dimana pemanfaatan enargi matahari di Indonesia masih belum optimal padahal energi matahari di Indonesia sangatlah melimpah. Dalam penggunaan energi listri sering kali mengalami permasalahan padamnya energi listrik dan tidak memiliki sumber energi cadanganan sehingga menghambat kegiatan manusia khususnya dibidang pertanian hidroponik. Pertanian hidroponik sangan bergantung pada energi listrik untuk menyakan perangkat seperti pompa dan blower. Maka dari itu penelitian ini membahas tentang sistem hybrid power yang berteknologi IoT yang dirancang sesuai sandar industri dengan metode pencarian literasi, perancangan serta perencanaan, etching dan soldering serta pengujian.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menciptakan sebuah alat yang berkemampuan hybrid power antara energi listrik PLN dengan Energi listrik matahari, agar bisa membantu petani di bidang hydroponik. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa design instrumen smart system berteknologi IoT dan hybrid power.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat berupa Pelatihan Peningkatan Pemahaman Metode Kerja dan K3 Pekerjaan Konstruksi bagi Pekerja Bangunan di Desa Kedisan, Tegallalang, Gianyar ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Untuk mengedukasi dan memotivasi masyarakat tentang pentingnya pelaksanaan K3 pekerjaan konstruksi, 2) Memperoleh umpan balik dan masukan lain bagi perguruan tinggi dan 3) Meningkatnya pemahaman terhadap metode kerja dan K3 pekerjaan konstruksi bagi pekerja bangunan di Desa Kedisan, Tegallalang. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 25 orang perwakilan pekerja/tukang yang ada di beberapa banjar di Desa Kedisan dan pelaksanaannya di Kantor Kepala Desa Kedisan, Tegalallang. Metode dari kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari tahap persiapan dan pelaksanaan. Tahap persiapan yaitu berupa survey pendahuluan dan sosialisasi untuk menjalin komunikasi dengan mitra. Kemudian, tahap pendampingan/pelaksanaan berupa pelatihan yang dilaksankan selama 2 hari dan melibatkan 2 orang narasumber. Metode dari pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi dengan materi yang diberikan mengenai Metode kerja, Pengenalan K3, Pengenalan APD dan APK dan Penerapan SMK3 konstruksi untuk melipatgandakan nilai ekonomi. Dalam rangka menunjang proses kegiatan pelatihan, setiap peserta dibekali 1 Set APD yang berupa helm, sarung tangan, rompi jaring dan sepatu boat. Sebagai evaluasi dari kegiatan dan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan materi pelatihan, para peserta memperagakan cara menggunakan APD yang benar dan setelah pelatihan dipersilahkan untuk mengisi kuesioner. Kesimpulan dari evaluasi kegiatan bahwa sebagian besar peserta sebelumnya tidak mengetahui apa yang dimaksud dengan K3. Selain itu, peserta mengaku selama ini tidak mengenakan APD saat mengerjakan konstruksi. Kemudian setelah dilaksanakan kegiatan ini peserta telah mengetahui konsep K3, khususnya pada pekerjaan konstruksi, dan akan menggunakan APD saat bekerja., serta semua peserta merasa termotivasi untuk menerapkan K3 pada pekerjaan konstruksi. Hasil ini menunjukkan kegiatan ini sesuai tujuan yaitu meningkatkan pemahaman K3 pekerjaan konstruksi bagi pekerja/tukang bangunan.

Abstract

Indonesia is seen as the most earthquake-prone country of all countries located on the Pacific Ring of Fire. The earthquake disaster had a devastating impact, especially for the affected people. Moving into a safe new home would help victims to get back on their feet again. The multiple earthquake disaster of Lombok is one of the most recent great disasters that has shook Indonesia. Despite the Presidential Instruction target to finish by the end of 2018, due to various challenges, the reconstruction process has yet to be completed. Therefore, we need a reconstruction system that can be implemented instantly to build sustainable houses that are safe and suitable for the community. 3D Print Earth Construction Technology can mass-produce affordable houses, that are suitable for long-term living from a wide variety of materials, even local soil. This study aims to determine whether TEKCET 3D can solve the problem of the delay and its impact on the environment in post-earthquake reconstruction in Indonesia compared to RISHA. In general, the capabilities of TEKCET 3Dxand RISHA will be researched and evaluated from the aspect of development speed and impact on the environment through the principle of Green Construction. The results showed that TEKCET 3D was able to solve the problem of delayed and the impact on the environment in post-earthquake reconstruction in Indonesia compared to RISHA. This technology is also able to have a good impact on the environment as a post-earthquake reconstruction technology. Indonesiaxdipandang sebagaixnegara paling rawanxgempa dari semua negara yang terletak di CincinxApixPasifik. Bencana gempaxberdampakcsangat menghancurkanxterutama bagi masyarakat yang terdampak. Membangunxkembali rumah yang aman dan sehat berperan penting dalam pemulihan kehidupan korban. Gempaxberulang kali di Lombok, NTB, merupakanxsalah satu bencana besar yang mengguncang Indonesia tahun 2018. Meskipun Inpresxmenargetkan penyelesaian rekonstruksi pada akhir 2018, tetapi karena berbagai kendalaxsampai saat ini proses rekonstruksi masih belum terselesaikan. Olehxsebab itu, diperlukan sebuah sistem rekonstruksi yang bisa diimplementasikan secara instan untuk membangun rumah berkelanjutan yang aman dan sesuai bagi masyarakat. TerobosanxTeknologi Konstruksi Cetak Tanah 3D (TEKCET 3D) mampu memproduksi rumah yang terjangkau dalam satu hari secara massal dengan material alami seperti tanah liat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah TEKCET 3D mampu menyelesaikan masalah perlambatan dan dampak terhadap lingkungan pada rekonstruksi pasca gempa di Indonesia dibandingkan dengan RISHA. Secaraxumum kemampuan TEKCET 3D dan RISHA akan diteliti dan dievaluasi dari aspek kecepatan dan dampak terhadap lingkungan melalui prinsip Green Construction. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TEKCET 3D mampu dalam menyelesaikan masalah perlambatan dan dampak terhadap lingkungan pada rekonstruksi pasca gempa di Indonesia dibandingkan dengan RISHA, dan berdampak baik terhadap lingkungan.

Abstract

The current property competition in Bali, marked by an increase in the construction of hotels, villas, and resorts, coupled with the fluctuating growth rate of tourist visits over the past five years due to the pandemic (with both increases and decreases), necessitates a reevaluation of the investment feasibility analysis for the construction of Asvara Resort Manuaba Ubud. This study aims to assess the market, technical, and financial feasibility aspects of the investment in the construction of Asvara Resort Manuaba Ubud, to determine whether this development remains profitable for investors. Additionally, it seeks to ensure that the benefits of this resort development can be felt by the government and the surrounding community, thus supporting the welfare and economy of the region, especially Gianyar Regency. To analyze the market aspect, data on the number of tourists visiting Bali, occupancy rates, and the availability of similar resorts in the surrounding area, obtained from government agencies and several star-rated hotels in the vicinity, are required and then processed using forecasting methods. For the technical aspect analysis, geographical location data, project location, and land utilization plans are analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. For the financial aspect analysis, data on costs and revenues obtained from contractors and operators are analyzed using Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Payback Period (PP), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) parameters. The market aspect analysis results show an increase in tourist visits, including occupancy rates, which will positively impact visits to this resort. From the technical aspect, land utilization and allocation have been optimized for investment. Financially, the NPV value is Rp 16,706,385,995.27, the IRR is 19.67%, the BCR is 1.242, and the PP is 10 years. The sensitivity analysis results, considering the worst-case scenario where all revenue components decrease by 8% and costs increase by 8%, show an NPV value of Rp 1,215,020,196.08, an IRR of 17.13%, a BCR of 1.018, and a PP of 13 years. Overall, it can be concluded that this investment is feasible for investors.

Abstract

Change orders often occur in constructionprojects, particularly in building projects, involvingadditions, changes, or reductions of work items during the implementation process. These changes significantly affect the project’s cost, quality, and schedule. The negative impact of changeorders is frequently felt across these three aspects, as observed inconstruction projectsin Denpasar. Therefore, ananalysis isneeded to determine the extent ofthe negativeimpact caused by change orders. This study aims to measure the impact of change orders on cost, quality, and time in constructionprojects in Denpasar. The research process began with a literaturereview toidentify the variablesand indicators-related to change orders and theireffects on projectimplementation. Subsequently, questionnaires were prepared and distributed to projectmanagers, sitemanagers, and project leaders in Denpasar as respondents. The collected data was then analyzed using the Partial Least-Square (PLS) method to gain deeper insight into the impact of change orders. The findings reveal that change orders have a significantly negative impact on project performance. Specifically, the influence of changeorders onproject cost is recorded at 31.6%, on quality at 16.8%, and on time at 23.2%. These results highlight that change orders play a crucial role in determining theefficiency and effectiveness of building construction projects. Therefore, effective management of changeorders is essential to minimize their negative impact and ensure that projects are executed according to plan interms of cost, quality, and time..

Abstract

Keliki Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province, has a TPS3R which was initially considered less attractive by the local community because it was considered to interfere with tourism. This background encouraged the implementation of green infrastructure in the TPS3R of Keliki Village as an effort to improve the quality of the environment and the aesthetics of the area. The problems faced were the low public awareness of sustainable environmental management and the lack of skills of local craftsmen in implementing green infrastructure principles. The purpose of this activity was to rearrange the TPS3R according to green infrastructure standards, while providing training to local craftsmen so that they are able to work on infrastructure projects properly. The method used involved collaboration between the Bali State Polytechnic, the Keliki Village Government, and the Yowana Bakti Keliki BUMDES, with training in installing environmentally friendly geotextile-based paving as the main focus. The Village Government provided the facilities, infrastructure, and materials needed, while the BUMDES facilitated labor from local banjars. The results of this activity showed an increase in the skills of local craftsmen and the arrangement of the TPS3R which was more visually attractive, in accordance with the concept of green infrastructure. In conclusion, the implementation of green infrastructure in TPS3R has not only succeeded in improving environmental quality, but also changed the image of TPS3R into an environmentally friendly area and more attractive to the community and tourists.

Abstract

The increasing development of construction projects has led to an increase of work accidents and insurance claims. This must be followed up with the implementation of a construction safety management system. This action is expected to reduce the number of accidents and illnesses due to work. The purpose of the study is to analyze the value level of implementation of construction safety management system and the factor that causing the discrepancy between the requirements and the implementation. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive format. The results showed that the implementation rate of the Construction Safety Management System was 88.37% with the category of "Satisfactory Implementation". The factor that causing the discrepancy are the contractor leader rarely goes to the field to provide briefings related to occupational safety and health because it has been carried out by the project occupational safety and health management team, the implementation of the construction safety management system is good but there are still some differences because the project being worked on is a building construction project, the composition of the Occupational Safety and Health Management Team in the project is adjusted to the needs of the project so that emergency response officers and first aid officers in accidents are not provided in the field.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of age and gender on motorbike risk behavior in the city of Denpasar, Bali Province, Indonesia. Questionnaires were distributed to collect various data consisting of personal characteristics involving age and sex consisting of perceptions of risk (Risk Perception/RP), penchant for risk behavior (Positive Affect/PA), and risk driving behavior (Risk Behaviour/RB). The results showed that there were no significant differences between the age and gender of motorcyclists in performing risky behavior on the highway. Both teenagers and adults, as well as male or female drivers have the same possibility of behaving at risk on the road. Perceptions of risk behavior are very influential for motorbike riders, men, women, and adolescents. While perceptions and hobbyist behavior risk having an effect on adult motorcyclists. This shows that returning decisions when riding motorbikes on the road for male, female, and teenage motorbike riders is often based on rational analysis (perception) compared to the empirical experience of the rider based on driving experience. Unlike the adult motorcycle rider who takes into account the rational aspects and aspects of experience. Perception of risk behavior (RP) depends on the level of understanding or knowledge related to the definition of risk behavior on the highway. Therefore, education on road safety should start from an early age and become part of formal education in schools
