Abstract

Today the learning environment is often underestimated. Even though the learning environment problems will have an impact on the low quality of education. Seeing these conditions, requires the optimization of the learning environment, one of which is the library. This urgent condition has made the government strive to improve the quality of education by creating a good learning environment through the Kampus Mengajar program. The purpose of this research is to find out how to optimize the learning environment at SDN 3 Karangrandu Jepara in the Kampus Mengajar program. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The data collection technique is in the form of data triangulation, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that optimizing the library learning environment at SDN 3 Karangrandu Jepara in the Kampus Mengajar program is carried out in the planning stage first. Optimization of the learning environment is carried out in the first way, the stages of recording the required facilities and library design. Second, classifying books and cleanliness. Third, the "Go Pus (Go Perpustakaan)" program. Fourth, making library administration. Fifth, collaboration. And sixth, there is libraries must be utilized optimally. The SDN 3 Karangrandu Jepara library is used as a place for reading, study guidance, competition guidance, prayer practice, deposit of memorizing Asmaul Husna, AKM, and as a place for ANBK implementation.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka menekankan pada pembelajaran yang relevan dengan karakteristik, kebutuhan, dan budaya peserta didik. Namun, hasil observasi di kelas 5 SDN Kalisari 1 Sayung, Demak menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran masih konvensional dan kurang mengintegrasikan budaya peserta didik. Hal ini memicu kurangnya motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui implementasi Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) untuk memotivasi belajar peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis studi kasus deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) mampu mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran yang konvensional dan monoton menjadi pembelajaran yang lebih menyenangkan, bermakna, dan terintegrasi dengan budaya peserta didik. Selain itu, pembelajaran dengan Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dapat memotivasi belajar peserta didik dengan ditandai dengan keaktifan dalam pembelajaran, terlibat dalam diskusi kelompok, percaya diri atas kemampuannya, ketekunan dalam mengerjakan tugas, dan tidak mudah menyerah dalam menghadapi kesulitan.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka emphasizes learning that is relevant to the characteristics, needs, and culture of students. However, the results of observations in class 5 of SDN Kalisari 1 Sayung, Demak showed that learning was still conventional and did not integrate the culture of students. This triggers a lack of student learning motivation. This study aims to determine the implementation of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) to motivate student learning in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive case study type. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study Numbered Heads Together (NHT) based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) is able to overcome conventional and monotonous learning problems into learning that is more enjoyable, meaningful, and integrated with the culture of students. In addition, learning with Numbered Heads Together (NHT) based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) can motivate student learning as indicated by activeness in learning, involvement in group discussions, confidence in their abilities, perseverance in doing assignments, and not giving up easily when facing difficulties.
