Abstract

The availability of clean water is a basic need to meet daily needs. Therefore, the identification of groundwater and its aquifer types was carried out in Labulia, Alor sub-village, Central Lombok Region and Lilir sub-village, Membalan Village, West Lombok Region. The identification of groundwater and the type of aquifer is carried out using the vertical electrical sounding method with the Schlumberger configuration because this method can identify vertical resistivity more accurately than other resistivity methods, such as Wenner. The pseudo resistivity data obtained from these measurements is processed using IPI2Win software and progress. The result of the interpretation was that the aquifer in Olor Agung sub-village was a confined aquifer, while Lilir sub-village was a free aquifer.

Abstract

Research has been carried out in Samangki Village which aims to analyze the potential of limestone resources using the Geoelectrical Resistivity Method with the Wenner-Schlumberger configuration. Data were collected at 801904.40-802051.05 NE and 9440758.03-9440548.93 SW for 3 lines along 120 m with 10 m electrode space in a track. Acquired data were processed using Microsoft Excel, Notepad, RES2DINV, ArcGIS, and Google Earth applications to produce resistivity cross-sections and other supporting maps. Based on data interpretation, it shows that the low resistivity zone is an alluvium deposit (Qac) with resistivity value of 17.58 to 170 Ωm; and the high resistivity zone indicates the presence of limestone which is part of the Tonasa Formation (Temt). The presence of limestone on line-1 with resistivity value of 326.00 to 931.90 Ωm at position(x) 60 to 90 m, in depth(y) 1.25 to 9.26 m as shallow area, and at position 40-45 m in depth 16 to 19.8 m as the deepest area. Then the limestone on line-2 is indicated as a subsurface karst tower with a resistivity value of 462.00 to 809.36 Ωm at position 30 to 50 m in depth 1.25 to 19.8 m. Limestone also located on the northeastern edge of line-3  with resistivity values of 431.00 to 739.66 Ωm at a position of 12.5 to 17.5 m in depth of 1.25 to 6.38 m. It proves that Samangki Village has large potential for limestone resources. This research need further geoelectrical study with broad coverage area and geochemical analysis for detail karst characterization

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dusun Rojet, Desa Bangket Parak, Kecamatan Pujut, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kedalaman airtanah mengunakan metode geolistrik satu dimensi (1D). Metode geolistrik merupakan salah satu metode geofisika yang mempelajari tentang sifat aliran listrik di dalam bumi berdasarkan hukum-hukum kelistrikan. Metode geolistrik ini merupakan metode yang banyak sekali digunakan dan hasilnya cukup baik untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai lapisan tanah di bawah permukaan. Metode geolistrik yang digunakan dalam pengukuran airtanah pada penelitian ini adalah metode geolistrik konfigurasi Schlumberger dengan pengukuran dilakukan sebanyak dua titik. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data keberadaan akuifer pada titik pertama pada kedalaman 34,8 – 49,2 m dan keberadaan akuifer pada titik kedua mulai dari kedalaman 38,5 – 55,1 meter di bawah permukaan setempat dengan litologi lapisan pasir lempungan – pasir. Lapisan pasiran mempunyai sifat kelulusan air yang besar, sehingga potensi menyimpan air besar juga. Sementara untuk lapisan yang diinterpretasikan sebagai lapisan non akuifer (akuiclud) yaitu lapisan lempung dan lava. Airtanah pada daerah penelitian dapat dimanfaatkan dengan melakukan pengeboran minimal pada kedalaman 50 m.Kata Kunci: Akuifer, metode geolistrik resistivitas, konfigurasi schlumberger

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui litologi lapisan bawah permukaan dan mengetahui kedalaman akuifer untuk rekomendasi pengeboran dalam menggembangkan irigasi untuk persawahan. Lokasi penelitian bertempat di Dusun Tampak Siring, Mantang, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada 2 titik sounding dengan lintasan sepanjang 400 meter menggunakan Metode Geolistrik Tahanan Jenis dengan Konfigurasi Schlumberger. Data diolah  menggunakan software Ms. Excel dan IPI2Win untuk memperoleh nilai resistivitas, ketebalan dan kedalaman lapisan. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan litologi bawah permukaan daerah survey terdiri dari 5 lapisan yaitu  lapisan pertama berupa tanah penutup , pasiran lepas di bagian atas, lapisan konduktif berupa lempung, lapisan alluvium  (tanah berpasir) yang mengandung air, lapisan breksi yang tak terlalu massif dengan perselingan  pasir dan gravel (kerikil). lapisan akuifer pembawa air yaitu berupa lapisan breksi lapuk, tufa pasiran dan kerikil. Berdasarkan penelitian ini lapisan akuifer berada pada titik VES 1 dan VES 2 yaitu pada lapisan ketiga dan lapisan kelima. Pada titik VES 1 lapisan akuifer terdapat pada kedalaman 5,3 – 12,57 m (air permukaan) dan kedalaman >37,59 m  dengan nilai tahanan jenis jenis 65,8 Ωm dan  29,8 Ωm. Pada titik VES 2 lapisan akuifer terdapat pada kedalaman 3,375 – 8,665 m (air permukaan) dan kedalaman >33,76 m  dengan nilai tahanan jenis jenis 21,9 Ωm dan  20,6 Ωm.

Abstract

Air merupakan kebutuhan pokok bagi kehidupan manusia. Peningkatan jumlah penduduk berdampak pada peningkatan jumlah kebutuhan air namun dalam pengelolaannya air yang disediakan tidak sesuai dengan jumlah yang dibutuhkan sehingga diperlukan penelitian tentang pemetaan potensi air tanah untuk kebutuhan air bersih bagi masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Rasabou, Kecamatan Hu’u, Kabupaten Dompu, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui potensi airtanah pada akuifer dan jenis litologi, kedalaman, dan ketebalan akuifer airtanah berdasarkan resistivitas jenis batuan. Akuisisi data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode geolistrik konfigurasi Schlumberger 1-D. Pengukuran dilakukan pada 3 (tiga) titik sounding dengan panjang bentangan 400 meter – 600 meter. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data Ip2Win 1D, diketahui bahwa litologi bawah permukaan daerah penelitian terdiri dari lapisan tanah penutup, lempung, breksi retak-retak, dan pasir. Jenis lapisan pembawa air tanah berupa lapisan akuitar dan akuifer. Lapisan akuitar berupa lapisan lempung dan breksi retak-retak, sedangkan lapisan akuifer berupa lapisan pasir. Potensi air tanah yang paling besar untuk dilakukan pengeboran sumur yaitu pada titik sounding VES-02 dan VES-03, dengan kedalaman pengeboran mencapai 135 m dan 60 m. Ketebalan lapisan akuifer pada titik sonding VES-02 dan VES-03 yaitu 97 m dan 60 m.

Abstract

Desa Dangiang merupakan salah satu desa dari 10 Desa yang ada di Kecamatan Kayangan, Desa Dangiang terdiri dari 8 (delapan) Dusun. Desa Dangiang berdiri sejak tahun 2001, yang merupakan pemekaran dari Desa Kayangan. Dangiang termasuk daerah yang memiliki nilai stunting cukup tinggi. Maka perlu dilakukannya sosialisasi yang mampu membimbing masyarakat dan meningkatkan kesadaran serta pemahamannya terkait stunting. Kegiatan sosialisasi dilaksanakan melalui berbagai metode, seperti workshop, pelatihan, kampanye pendidikan, dan kunjungan rumah ke masyarakat desa. Kegiatan ini terintegrasi dengan program kerja KKN mahasiswa UMMAT periode 2023 yang ada di Desa Dangiang. Program kerja ini berhasil memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang penanganan dan pencegahan stunting. Melalui sosialisasi, edukasi, dan kolaborasi dengan tenaga kesehatan, kami berharap bahwa desa ini akan terus bergerak menuju kondisi yang lebih baik dalam hal pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak-anak mereka.

Abstract

Measurement of the resistivity value distribution of subsurface rocks has been carried out in Mumbul Sari Village, Bayan District, North Lombok, which is one of the drought-prone areas in NTB Province, Indonesia. This research was conducted to identify the presence of groundwater aquifer layers in the study area based on the distribution of resistivity values. Data collection was carried out at two measurement points, namely the MBLS-1 Point with a track length of 700 m and the MBLS-2 Point with a length of 750 m. Data processing was carried out using IP2WIN Software to obtain a one-dimensional subsurface cross-sectional model, then interpreted using a resistivity log to make it easier to draw information on the subsurface point of measurement. Based on the distribution of resistivity values, it is known that the geological layers in the study area consist of pumice tuff, silty silt, sandy silt, and lava. The inversion results from the IP2WIN software show that the depth of the aquifer zone at Point MBLS-1 is 15.6 – 70.2 m with a resistivity value of 90.3 Ωm and a thickness of 54.5 m, while at Point MBLS-2 it is located at a depth of 21.9 – 86.1 m with a resistivity value of 112 Ωm and a thickness 64.3m. The aquifer zone at both measurement points is interpreted as a sandy silt layer. Groundwater drilling is recommended at the MBLS-1 point to a depth of 70 m and at the MBLS-2 point to a depth of 86 m. The geological structure that forms the boundary of the aquifer zone is a layer of compact and hard lava, so for groundwater utilization in the study area, it is recommended to use drilled wells to a depth of 70 – 86 m which is the lower limit of the aquifer layer.

Abstract

Groundwater availability is an essential factor in supporting domestic activities, agriculture, and tourism development in Sajang Village, East Lombok, Indonesia. Nevertheless, scientific information regarding subsurface groundwater potential in this volcanic region remains limited. The research contribution is the evaluation of subsurface lithology and groundwater aquifer potential in Sajang using the Vertical Electrical Sounding method to support groundwater exploration planning. This research applied the Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) technique with the Schlumberger electrode configuration at two observation points. Field measurements were processed through inversion analysis using IP2WIN software to obtain true resistivity values and interpret lithological characteristics beneath the surface. The interpretation results reveal that the subsurface structure is dominated by volcanic rocks consisting of overburden, andesite lava, and andesite breccia with generally high resistivity values. At the first sounding point, resistivity values range from 77.8 Ωm to 11 × 107 Ωm at depths reaching 150 m. Meanwhile, the second sounding point shows resistivity values between 17.2 Ωm and 44 × 105 Ωm at depths of up to 153 m. The absence of low-resistivity zones indicates that productive aquifer layers are not present within the investigated area. Consequently, groundwater drilling activities are not recommended at the measurement locations. This study provides updated hydrogeophysical information for groundwater assessment in volcanic terrains of East Lombok.

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi kimia lingkungan pada pekerja tambang batuan terkait bahaya paparan debu mineral. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Perampuan dengan melibatkan 17 peserta yang dipilih secara purposive berdasarkan tingkat keterlibatan dalam aktivitas penambangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif berbasis edukasi kontekstual melalui tahapan persiapan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan edukasi dilakukan melalui penyuluhan interaktif dan diskusi partisipatif yang disertai dengan arahan penggunaan masker sebagai upaya sederhana dalam mengurangi paparan debu. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan desain one-group pre-test post-test dan dianalisis menggunakan indeks N-Gain. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata peserta dari pre-test ke post-test dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,65 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Secara kualitatif, peserta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran terhadap bahaya debu mineral serta pentingnya penggunaan masker saat bekerja. Dengan demikian, kegiatan edukasi yang dilakukan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi kimia lingkungan dan mendorong perubahan perilaku menuju praktik kerja yang lebih aman. Kata kunci: literasi kimia lingkungan; debu mineral; N-Gain; edukasi kontekstual. Abstract This community service activity aimed to improve environmental chemistry literacy among stone mining workers regarding the hazards of mineral dust exposure. The activity was conducted in Perampuan Village involving 17 participants selected purposively based on their involvement in mining activities. The method used was a participatory approach based on contextual education through preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. Educational activities were carried out through interactive lectures and participatory discussions accompanied by guidance on mask usage as a simple measure to reduce dust exposure. Evaluation was conducted using a one-group pre-test post-test design and analyzed using the N-Gain index. The results showed an increase in participants’ average scores from pre-test to post-test with an N-Gain value of 0.65, categorized as moderate. Qualitatively, participants demonstrated improved understanding and awareness of mineral dust hazards and the importance of wearing masks during work. Therefore, the educational activity was effective in improving environmental chemistry literacy and encouraging safer work practices. Keywords: environmental chemistry literacy; mineral dust; N-Gain; contextual education.

Abstract

The Kuta region is one of the most developed tourism areas in the Central Lombok Regency. This development impacts the population that continues to increase in the area, thereby influencing the increasing need for groundwater. However, the study area tends to be dry, especially in the dry season and rainfall is very low. This is quite difficult for residents to find good aquifers for groundwater exploration. From this, subsurface lithology identification is carried out to determine the lithology of the subsurface layers to obtain potential aquifers. The method used is geoelectric vertical electrical sounding which is carried out at two location points with a track length of 500 meters and a spacing of 10 meters. From the analysis of the 1D resistivity curve produced in this survey, information on subsurface lithology at the measurement point, consisting of layers of clay, sandstone, and breccia, was obtained. At the MR-1 line there is sandstone lithology at a depth of 53-84.3 meters which is thought to have the potential to be an aquifer, while at the MR-2 line, the presence of sandstone lithology is at a depth of 67.5-110 meters. Therefore, this measurement location shows the prospect of the existence of an aquifer which is characterized by a layer of sandstone which is a rock with good porosity and permeability
