Abstract

Miopi merupakan kondisi objek yang jauh tidak dapat ditampilkan jelas pada retina. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui gambaran kejadian miopia pada anak usia sekolah di kabupaten Trenggalek.Miopi merupakan penyebab penurunan tajam penglihatan anak usia sekolah, penglihatan yang baik diperlukan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Informasi yang diterima otak 95% melalui panca indera penglihatan. Metode : Observasional menggunakan desain cross sectional. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 292 responden dengan tehnik Sampling Jenuh. Penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dilanjutkan pemeriksaan visus ,uji hipotesis menggunakan chi square. Hasil : Kejadian miopia 21,9%, 61% berjenis kelamin perempuan, 39% laki-laki, 79,7% ada riwayat genetik, 67% durasi melihat jarak dekat 5 sampai 10 jam dan 62,5% durasi melihat jarak jauh lebih dari 3 jam. Hasil uji hubungan faktor jenis kelamin dengan miopia didapatkan p value 0,003, riwayat genetik p value 0,000, durasi melihat jarak jauh p value 0,000. Simpulan dan saran : terdapat hubungan antara faktor jenis kelamin, riwayat genetik, durasi melihat dekat dan jauh dengan kejadian miopia anak usia sekolah. Pencegahan kejadian miopia perlu memperhatikan faktor-faktor tersebut.

Abstract

English speaking proficiency has become prominent for Midwifery Students to prepare them in the global competition of the health field. Unfortunately, they have complex problems in learning and practicing speaking, such as a lack of motivation, confidence, and vocabulary, being afraid of making mistakes, and difficult pronunciation. Mentoring strategy comes as one of the best solutions for their problems. This study aimed to explore Midwifery students’ point of view towards a mentoring strategy to help them enhancing speaking skills. A survey research with mixed methods design was employed in this research by administering a questionnaire and interview. The result indicated that the respondents had a strong attitude and positive perspective towards the mentoring program. In conclusion, it is one of the best alternative ways to be applied in the classroom and equip the students with English competency, particularly the speaking skills.

Abstract

Implementation of the Student Pancasila Profile Strengthening Project (P5) was to instill independent, creative, and cooperation character values in 4 kindergartens of Kediri City. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Project (P5) including design, and management of P5. This research used a descriptive qualitative method at 4 kindergartens of Kediri City in 2022. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. The data was analyzed using an interactive technique, including data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results of the study showed that 1) the design of P5 consists of forming a team, identifying school readiness, determining the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile character to be strengthened, determining the theme, planning the timeline, flow, assessment, and module creation; 2) the management of P5 includes provocation and contextualization, P5 actions, and celebrating learning outcomes. P5 consist of strengthening character and continuing good habits at kindergartens. Through P5 actions, students must continue to be developed so that the cultivation of independent, creative, and cooperation character values can run optimally.
