The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a Quasi-Experimental Design approach, namely Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population and samples used in this study were all third-grade students consisting of 38 students (19 students in the control class and 19 students in the experimental class). The data collection technique used in this study is the test technique. Based on the results of data analysis conducted using the independent sample t-test with SPSS version 16.0, it shows that the sig value (2-tailed) is 0.002 <0.05 with a significance level = 0.05 (5%), then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected with the conclusion that there is a significant effect of the Problem Based Learning Model on Learning Outcomes of Theme 4 Sub Theme 3 Learning 2 Third Grade Students of SDK Tanalodu Bajawa.

Abstract

Low student interest and motivation in the topic Norms in My Life have led to minimal engagement and suboptimal learning outcomes. This study aims to improve student learning achievement through the implementation of the cooperative learning model of the jigsaw type, supported by word wall media. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach consisting of four main stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection was systematically conducted through observation, pretest and posttest evaluations, and relevant documentation. A test instrument was used to measure the difference in learning outcomes before and after applying the jigsaw model. The study involved 18 fifth-grade students from UPTD SD Negeri Sikumana 1. The results showed a significant improvement in learning achievement: in the pre-cycle, only 4 students met the minimum competency criteria (60.1%); in Cycle I, this increased to 9 students (70%); and in Cycle II, 15 students (91.1%) achieved the target. These findings demonstrate that the jigsaw cooperative learning model, supported by word wall media, is effective in enhancing student learning outcomes. The implications of this study span theoretical aspects in the development of collaborative learning design, as well as practical benefits for students, teachers, schools, and researchers in creating more meaningful and contextualized learning experiences.

Abstract

The research entitled Application of Genially Assisted STAD Type Cooperative Model on the Material of Application of Norms in Life to Improve the Learning Outcomes of Fifth Grade Students of UPTD SDI Nunbaun Delha is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fifth grade students of UPTD SDI Nunbaun Delha. This was obtained from the results of initial observations conducted by researchers during PLP activities in fifth grade of UPTD SDI Nunbaun Delha, found conditions related to the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in Pancasila Education learning. Of the 25 students, 28% or 7 students met the KKTP set by the school, while 72% or 18 other students had not met the KKTP. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The data collection techniques used are observation and tests using research instruments including teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets, test questions, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative with percentage calculations (%). In cycle I, the percentage of students achieving mastery was 52%, falling into the "poor" (K) category. However, the learning process in cycle I was not successful. Meanwhile, the percentage of students achieving mastery in cycle II was 96%, falling into the "very good" (SB) category, indicating that the learning process was successful.

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes on the topic of regional cultural diversity through the use of Pop-Up Book media in Grade V of SD Inpres Perumnas 1 Kota Kupang. The problem identified in this study was the low learning outcomes of students caused by teacher-centered instruction and limited use of innovative learning media. The objective of this study was to enhance students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of Pop-Up Book media. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles, each including planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 20 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and observation sheets of teacher and student activities. The results showed that the implementation of Pop-Up Book media significantly improved students’ learning outcomes. The average score increased from 63.25 with 45% mastery in Cycle I to 80.75 with 90% mastery in Cycle II. In addition, teacher and student activities also improved from the “fair” category in Cycle I to the “very good” and “good” categories in Cycle II. These findings indicate that Pop-Up Book media is effective in improving students’ understanding, learning motivation, and learning outcomes in cultural diversity material.

Abstract

The study, entitled "Improving Creative Thinking Skills Through the PAIKEM Approach on Floor Plan Material for Grade III Students at UPTD SD Inpres Oetete 2," aims to enhance the creative thinking abilities of third-grade students by implementing the PAIKEM learning approach in Science and Social Studies (IPAS). Utilizing Classroom Action Research (CAR) across four sequential phases planning, acting, observing, and reflecting this study involved all 23 third-grade students at UPTD SD Inpres Outate 2, consisting of 15 male and 8 female students. Data were gathered through observation, testing, and documentation using Likert scales, test sheets, and observation forms, which were then analysed using a combination of descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative techniques. The findings revealed that the classical student mastery rate in Cycle I reached 43.48% (10 students passing) with a class average score of 66.74, which then significantly improved in Cycle II to 86.65% with 20 students achieving mastery. Consequently, these results demonstrate that the PAIKEM approach is highly effective in fostering students' creative thinking skills regarding floor plan material in Grade III at UPTD SD Inpres Oetete 2.
