Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan KKN ini bertujuan untuk berkontribusi mendukung beberapa program pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Sumedang dalam membangun desa. Peserta KKN menjadi Duta Literasi Digital yang mensosialisasikan program-program digital pemerintah Kabupaten Sumedang diantaranya adalah WA KEPO yaitu aplikasi WhatsApp Kebutuhan Informasi & Pelayanan Online yang berisi informasi tentang Sumedang dengan cepat dan mudah, langsung dari smartphone melalui WhatsApp, terdapat informasi mengenai layanan pemerintahan, pariwisata, kuliner, layanan publik, berita/event terkini, potensi desa, dll. Kegiatan KKN di Desa Cikaramas melaksanakan beberapa program kerja di beberapa bidang diantaranya bidang sosial, budaya, pendidikan dan ekonomi juga termasuk program pencegahan stunting.

Abstract

The Covid19 pandemic condition demands the implementation of social restrictions, including in the field of education, including the limitation of face-to-face activities in the learning process, the current situation of the learning process is carried out online (in the network), so a new pedagogical approach is needed, appropriate learning media, with design and simulation in the learning process so as to optimize student learning outcomes. The learning model that is estimated to be suitable for learning CNC and CAM machining techniques is the Project Based Learning (PJBL) model through the CAM software tool, namely Mastercam X5. The research method used is an experimental research method, with a pre-experimental design, one group pre-test-post-test design. The instruments used in the form of pre-test, post-test and jobsheet, it can be concluded that the learning process using the PJBL model through the Mastercam X5 software can be categorized as good, runs smoothly and orderly also has a positive and significant effect on improving student learning outcomes on CNC and CAM materials in SMK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk penerapan model pembelajaran Work Based Learning dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran di SMK (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan) serta mengetahui efektifitas penerapan model pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode eskperimen dimana peneliti melakuan eksperimen kepada objek penelitian dengan menggunakan perlakuan yang berbeda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dan perhitungan statistik terhadap data hasil belajar kelistrikan sistem penerangan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Work Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belalajar pada siswa kelas XI, pengaruhnya menggunakan model tugas proyek siswa menjadi aktif antar sesama siswa lainnya saling bertukar pengetahuan, banyaknya tindakan, dan para siswa mengembangkan keterampilan yang dipelajarinya. Selain itu, para peserta didik benar-benar mempelajari materi tersebut dan mampu menyelesaikan tugas rangkaian kelistrikan sistem penerangan, Hal ini dikarenankan menggunkan model Work Based Learning. Keberhasilan pembelajaran menggunakan model Work Based Learning kelistrikan sisitem penerangan siswa menjadi aktif dan terampil hal ini dapat mengembangkan nilai-nilai yang ada pada diri siswa dan memperkenalkan siswa tentang kehidupan di dunia usaha/dunia industri menjadi nilai yang positif.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran sebagai salah satu alat untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan memiliki peran yang sangat vital dalam proses belajar mengajar (PBM). Penerapan media tersebut dapat memberikan perbaikan pada PBM siswa, sehingga mampu meningkatkan pencapaian hasil belajar. Upaya untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa dapat dilakukan, antara lain, dengan menggantikan metode pembelajaran konvensional dengan penggunaan media virtual yang dianggap sesuai untuk proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam hal teknik pengelasan setelah penerapan media virtual. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas X Program Keahlian Teknik Pemesinan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain one – Group Pretest – Posttest design, hasil perlakuan diketahui lebih akurat karena dapat membandingkan keadaan sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan. Dari hasil perhitungan uji t diperoleh thitung = 3,37 selanjutnya dibandingkan dengan ttabel dengan derajat kebebasan db = n – 2 = 12 – 2 = 10. Jika dk = 10 dan taraf signifikansi nya (α) sebesar 5% dengan taraf keberartian 95% pada uji dua pihak, maka diperoleh harga ttabel (0,05;10) = 2,22 dikarenakan harga thitung 3.37 > 2,22. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media virtual memiliki pengaruh untuk meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran siswa.

Abstract

Revolusi industri 4.0 telah mempengaruhi berbagai sektor, termasuk bidang Pendidikan Kejuruan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran SMK yang mengintegrasikan kemampuan literas dan numerasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam hal kompetensi, literasi dan numerasi. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode studi literatur. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah (1) Mengkaji literasi dan numerasi beserta permasalahan yang mungkin muncul dan solusinya dalam pembelajaran di SMK. (2) Mengkaji berbagai komponen perangkat pembelajaran yang memungkinkan dapat menjadi solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SMK, (3) Menetapkan komponen yang memiliki peluang yang besar sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan kualitas pembelajaran di SMK, yaitu model pembelajaran karena dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran komponen pembelajaran lain dapat diintegrasikan (Pendekatan Model Pembelajaran Work-based Learning). (4) Sinkronisasi antara literasi dan numerasi dengan karakteristik perangkat pembelajaran di SMK, dan (5) Merancang hasil sinkronisasi berupa muatan materi dan aktivitas yang akan dilakukan dalam langkah-langkah Work-bassed Learning (WBL). Hasil penelitian adalah berupa rancangan model WBL dalam pembelajaran mata pelajaran produktif di SMK dengan mengintegrasikan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

The motorcycle automotive industry in West Java is growing rapidly. However, there is a gap between the skills of graduates of Vocational High School Teknik dan Bisnis Sepeda Motor (SMK-TBSM) and the specific needs of the motorcycle automotive industry that continues to grow. As a result, it is necessary to map the needs of the industry for graduates of vocational education. The use certification of the Professional Certification Institution (LSP-P1) can help overcome this gap, but it has not been optimized. The cooperation between Vocational High School and LSP-P1 can improve the competitiveness of graduates. In the context of the rapid growth of the automotive industry, the relevance of vocational education to industry needs is becoming increasingly important. The urgency of this research lies in the importance of identifying the competency gap between Vocational High School graduates and industry needs, and the need to improve the competitiveness of Vocational High School graduates. This study aims to map the needs of the motorcycle automotive industry for Vocational High School graduates, analyze the LSP-P1 certification scheme and its potential in improving the competitiveness of Vocational High School graduates, develop an ideal cooperation model between Vocational High School and LSP-P1, and make strategic recommendations to improve the competitiveness of Vocational High School graduates in West Java. This study uses descriptive and exploratory design, the sampling technique is purposive sampling, data collection through in-depth interviews with stakeholders (industry representatives, LSP, vocational education practitioners and vocational schools), and surveys to vocational school alumni who have LSP certification to assess the impact of certification on their competitiveness. The data analysis is done qualitatively.

Abstract

The development of technology in the increasingly advanced construction sector cannot be separated from welding, because it has an important role in metal engineering and repair.. There are several factors that affect the quality of welding results, including welding procedures, materials, electrodes, and types of welds used. Inspection of welding results can be done in several ways, one of which is by visual inspection. The TWI Acceptance Criteria standard is used as a reference in determining the quality of welding results in this study. The results of the study showed that four out of five welding defects did not pass the test. This indicates the importance of mastering welding techniques and quality control in the production process. A welder must have competencies that are in accordance with the specifications of his work. Routine inspections and the use of reference standards such as the TWI Acceptance Criteria should be applied to ensure the quality of welding results, both on an educational, training, and industrial scale.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of depth of cut and feed rate variations on machining time in the C-Axis collet process. The research method employed was an experimental approach using Mastercam software. This study's independent variables were variations in cut depth (0.5 mm, 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm) and feed rate (110 ft/min, 125 ft/min, 140 ft/min), while the controlled variable was a spindle speed of 1036 rpm. The tools used were 8 mm and 4 mm diameter flat endmills. The results showed that the shortest machining time was achieved in Toolpath 2 with a depth of cut of 1.0 mm and a feed rate of 140 ft/min, resulting in a time of 12.47 s. In contrast, the longest machining time occurred in Contour Toolpath 1 with a depth of cut of 0.5 mm and a feed rate of 110 ft/min, taking 141.15 s. This research can be further developed to establish standards for optimizing machining time efficiency in C-Axis processes.

Abstract

This study developed a design for a dough mixer machine for cracker production with a capacity of 5 kg, intended to meet the needs of small to medium-scale production. The machine design incorporates stainless steel for parts that come into direct contact with food and hollow steel for the main frame to ensure both strength and hygiene. The single-phase motor used is tailored to the needs of small and medium enterprises to achieve optimal energy efficiency. The mixing blades are designed with a dual-blade system to enhance dough homogeneity in a short amount of time. The control panel, which includes a simple on/off switch and an emergency stop button, is ergonomically designed for ease of use by non-technical operators. The machine cleaning process is also simplified with a mixing container that can be opened or tilted, supporting cleanliness and speeding up the workflow. This design emphasizes efficiency, safety, and user comfort. The contribution of this research is expected to advance food machinery technology, particularly in cracker processing, and serve as a reference for the development of similar machines in the future.
