Abstract

Every parents or educator wants their child or learners to grow up to be a smart, healthy, independent, creative child. To make this happen, parents or educators need to know and understand well about the world of their children. Because the world of children is different from adults. Children's world is play. And basically the parenting or educators is to direct these children as superior generations. The stimulation of the development of motor skills in early childhood is often forgotten and even ignored by parents or educators. This is because they do not understand that stimulation of motor skills development is inseparable in early childhood education.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of teachers in developing the spoken and written language of early childhood at RA Labschool IAIS Sambas. Early childhood is an important period in language development. In this phase, children learn not only to speak verbally but also begin to recognize letters and numbers. The role of teachers in developing spoken and written language in early childhood is very vital. Teachers have the responsibility to create an environment that supports children's language development, both verbally and in writing. As a result of this research, researchers found that the role of teachers is very important in developing oral and written language skills in early childhood, including developing fine motor skills, understanding letter concepts, and the ability to compose words or sentences.

Abstract

This research began with the discovery of the phenomenon of low student learning motivation, especially in mathematics subjects, students experiencing difficulties in mathematics lessons.The aim of this research is to describe and analyze teacher planning, implementation and evaluation in increasing student learning motivation in mathematics subjects at MIS At-Taqwa Sambas for the 2023-2024 academic year.This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type of research. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking techniques use source triangulation, technical triangulation, and member checks.The results of this research show that: (1) Planning the teacher's role in overcoming low student learning motivation is by understanding the classroom situation which is done by observing student interactions then preparing teaching methods and learning strategies that are appropriate to the learning material and then preparing the materials. teaching that will be delivered. (2) The teacher's implementation in increasing students' low learning motivation by conveying interesting learning objectives, then at the core stage the teacher involves students who play an active role in the learning process and at the final or closing stage the teacher always evaluates learning by repeating the learning material that has been explained previously, and (3 evaluations of teachers carrying out their role in overcoming low student learning motivation are checking students' achievements by giving practice assignments to students then, giving questions and quizzes to students which then becomes feedback for improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Storytelling is one of the habits of ancient people in conveying a message or telling an activity that has happened. A person's storytelling skills are closely related to the speaking skills that the person has. There are two important elements that must be mastered by students in storytelling, namely linguistics and the elements of what is told. Accuracy of speech, grammar, vocabulary, fluency and smoothness, illustrate that students have good speaking skills. Departing from the phenomena in the field, researchers see that students' storytelling skills are still lacking. This study aims to explore the improvement of storytelling skills in students of early childhood education study programs using picture cards. The method used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The results show a significant increase in storytelling skills using picture cards.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal about, 1) to find out the strategies implemented by teachers in forming environmentally caring character in students at SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu, Tebas District, 2023-2024 academic year. 2) find out the implications of forming an environmentally caring character in students at SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu, Tebas District, 2023-2024 academic year. 3) knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors in forming an environmentally caring character in students at SDN 09 Sungai Kelambu, Tebas District, 2023-2024 academic year. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, observation. The data analysis techniques used are data reducation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking triangulation and member checks. The results of this research show that; 1) the strategy implemented by teachers in forming environmentally caring character in students is a school program tehat has been ambedded in students both within the scope of the school environments and outside the school. 2) The implications of forming an environmentally caring character in students are environmental awareness and higher responsibility in students, a growing sense of enthusiasm and pride in students, as well as students’ appearance and personality that reflects an environmentally caring character. 3) supporting and inhibiting factors in forming an environmentally caring character in students, limitations in equipment that are not yet fully equipped, as well as students’ awareness and responsibility that in unstable and undisciplined.

Abstract

Education is important for humans to gain prosperity and happiness in life, so it can be said that education is a person's basic need in order to become a real human being as a whole. In this day and age, students are not only required to be able to master technology and information to compete, students are required to think critically which is more developed in order to solve problems that will occur. This study aims to determine the extent to which students are able to think critically through social studies subjects. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods or non-experimental methods. The results showed that grade 5 students at SD Negeri Pucung Kidul 03 had a critical thinking attitude in the very good category.
