Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran mind mapping terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi peristiwa alam pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 104275 Lubuk Saban. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 104275 Lubuk Saban tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Populasi terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas paralel dengan jumlah 38 siswa. Siswa kelas VA berjumlah 20 siswa dan VB berjumlah 38 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data hasil belajar menggunaka tes pilihan ganda dan data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran mind mapping lebih besar dibanding dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Rata-rata nilai postest pada kelas kontrol yaitu 59,72 sedangkan rata-rata nilai postest kelas eksperimen adalah 80. Hasil uji t menunjukan nilai thitung (5,76) ttabel (1,68) maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak . Oleh karena itu, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping dikelas VA dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas VB. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran mind mapping berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA materi peristiwa alam pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 104275 Lubuk Saban.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are certain competencies or abilities achieved by students after following the teaching and learning process and include cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills. The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes through number bag media in the mathematics subject of addition and subtraction of numbers for class I students at SDN 14 Panai Tengah. Learning outcomes are certain competencies or abilities achieved by students after following the teaching and learning process and include cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills. This research is classroom action research (PTK). This classroom action research uses a research design developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart in the form of a tool with one tool consisting of four components, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection. This research was carried out in several cycles, where each cycle carried out 2-3 meetings/learning activities. Based on the results of evaluation tests carried out in cycles I and II, data was obtained regarding students' mathematics learning outcomes in addition and subtraction material. In the first cycle, 70.93% of students obtained a score of more than 70, which was still classified as unsatisfactory. However, after implementing learning actions, there was a significant increase in cycle II, where 86.8% of students managed to get a score of more than 70. Based on these results, it was concluded that the evaluation of student learning outcomes in cycle II showed very positive results. The students' average score increased to 86.8, far above the KKM set at 70. A total of 93.3% of students succeeded in reaching or exceeding the KKM standard, indicating that the intervention carried out succeeded in improving students' understanding and skills significantly.

Abstract

This study aims to develop mathematics teaching materials based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) with Batak culture to increase the interest of fourth grade students in learning fractions at SDN 067257, Medan Amplas District. The development model used is ADDIE which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the study showed that the teaching materials developed had a very good level of validity, with the validity value increasing from 67% before the revision to 89% after the revision. The effectiveness of teaching materials in increasing students' interest in learning is relatively high, with a questionnaire score reaching 78%, which indicates that students are more interested and motivated in learning. In terms of practicality, the teacher's response to the use of teaching materials reached 92%, indicating that these teaching materials are very easy to use and in accordance with learning needs. Thus, these PBL-based teaching materials with Batak culture are worthy of being used as innovative and contextual learning media to increase students' interest in understanding fractions.

Abstract

The research conducted aims to determine the effect of the use of comic media on increasing students' interest in learning PKn subjects for grade V elementary school students. This research is a quantitative approach using an experimental method. From the results of the research conducted, it is known that the use of comic media in PKn learning has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of grade V students of DN 060818 Medan. This can be seen from the t-count value of 3.498 and T_table 1.72. The Sig. (2-tailed) value <0.001, meaning <0.05. Because t_count> from t_table, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an effect of the use of comic media on increasing students' interest in learning in grade V of SDN 060818 Medan. The average difference between the two groups is 13.700 with a statistically significant difference, and the 95% confidence interval range is between 5.748 and 21.652. This shows that there is a significant difference between the two groups of classes being compared, namely the control and experimental classes.
