Abstract

The aim of the study was to identify the motivations for involvement of members of the Parumasaan rural community in Serang District in visiting Posyandu. Such studies are useful in broadening the horizons of early childhood development in rural areas in addition to disseminating the benefits for community-based early childhood education through Posyandu. Qualitative research methods are the main instrument with observation, interviews and documentation. The interviews were mainly addressed to the visitors from women. The results of the activities show that there are many Posyandu activities and programs that have an impact on the knowledge of visitors in caring for early childhood, whether received directly from the organizers or discussions with fellow mothers. Such knowledge can change people's mindset about nutrition and child development from an early age

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study relates to the identification of Islamic relations and national culture from Abdurrahman Wahid, a national figure who has extraordinary education and experience in the plurality of the Indonesian nation, to then analyze democracy as an important way of religion along with Indonesia's plural culture in the perspective of Maqashid Syariah. A qualitative descriptive character study relies on a basic literature review of Abdurrahman Wahid's various works, including relevant secondary sources. Everything is analyzed for its content so that it can be concluded that Islamization is a model that is not needed in the relations of Islam and national culture in Indonesia. Appreciation for the diversity of the nation is a safe gate so that the religion of Islam becomes a staple color in the nation's culture. This would not have been possible unless they put forward a just democratic life in their society. Options that do not deviate from maqashid Sharia

Abstract

Abstract: A teacher is required to be more creative in processing the learning process into something unique and interesting. Teaching creativity is defined as a quality in which teachers must develop new and imaginative ideas in teaching. Therefore, a creative response in teaching can be in the form of good classroom management that can create a conducive learning atmosphere, the use of interesting learning media, and variations in teaching styles. Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a concrete manifestation of the duties of lecturers and students in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely the aspect of service. Through community service activities in the RW 06 area, Petukngan Selatan, there is a synergy between universities and the community as a form of democratic knowledge. The purpose of this service is to provide understanding to the local community about the importance of education to assist the government in educating the nation's children. Service is carried out through activities: Teaching KKN. The results of the service provide an illustration of increasing enthusiasm and increasing public understanding, especially teachers and parents, about how to foster creativity in educating, educational psychology, the importance of reading for children, tutoring and making learning media for teachers as materials for teaching in monotheism-based classes.

Abstract

Abstract. As technology evolves, it is very important for all of society to be able to manage usage wisely in order to maximize its benefits and minimize the risks it will incur. Gadgets are one of the visible forms of technological tools that are mostly used by the Society, which is always evolving from years of knowledge and can update new things so as to attract the interest of users. Not only parents or teenagers, but also early childhood and primary school children participate in this tool. Excessive use of gadgets will have a negative impact on development and growth in early childhood. This can happen and affect my behavior. In addition, excessive use of gadgets can affect the child and become a more closed person due to lack of social interaction with friends or relatives. However, the use of gadgets does not always have a negative impact, some of them use gadgets well and apply them as a learning medium that can be useful and bring insight. Therefore, they can easily access the Lessons online. However, the use of gadgets, especially in early childhood, requires periodic supervision of parents, because in early childhood they have a high sense of enthusiasm and curiosity about new things that they know that can lead to adverse risks, and can increase parents' concern with excessive use of gadgets by their children.

Abstract

This research demonstrates how adult female students at the Pondok Pesantren Riyadul Awamil Islamic, Serang Regency, understand Ilm Tajwid utilizing nadhom in the book Tuhfatul Atfal Wal Ghilman Fi Tajwid al-Quran (Tuhfatul). This kitab kuning is used at Islamic boarding schools throughout Indonesia, even Southeast Asia as a manual for reading the Quran. In order to gather information for this qualitative case study, interviews with Kyai, ustazah, and a select group of students were conducted along with observations of how the learning was being put into practice. this education was inextricably linked to the standard pesantren curriculum for mastering the kitab kuning. Its power comes in the ease with which students can learn the contents of the Tuhfatul book because the nadhoms are regular and rhythmic lines that students can easily pronounce, sing, and remember. Spreading its use to the community may be offered, along with suggestions for adjusting the learning process to the learner.

Abstract

Learning and teaching a foreign language is challenging, but research has developed effective methods to teach it in a short time with reasonable effort. The difficulty of acquiring a language depends on the learner's age and environment. Children need more time than adults, and learners in a language’s native environment require less time than those in unfamiliar environments. This study investigates how the mother tongue influences Arabic language acquisition among new students at Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School in Jakarta. This research aims to analyze the factors that lead to the influence of the mother tongue on acquiring the Arabic language. The researcher used a qualitative approach for this study, and the data collection method for this research is divided into three sections: observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings identify three main factors: (a) internal factors (psychological), such as stress and motivation, which affect language acquisition, with each student's motivation differing due to the language's novelty; (b) external factors (linguistic environment), where the environment plays a key role in motivating students, including interactions with teachers, senior students, and staff; and (c) the curriculum, which must align with the needs of beginner students learning Arabic.

Abstract

Purpose - Charismatic leadership is often regarded as a central leadership model in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), especially due to the strong influence of the kyai as both religious and institutional leaders. However, the sustainability of teachers' organizational commitment in such institutions remains a challenge. This study aims to examine the direct influence of charismatic leadership on organizational commitment, as well as the mediating role of job satisfaction in this relationship. Methods - This research employed a quantitative survey method involving 566 educators from Pesantren Darunnajah Indonesia. Data were collected using validated instruments measuring charismatic leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and the Baron and Kenny mediation test, supported by SPSS software. Findings - indicate that charismatic leadership significantly influences both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Additionally, job satisfaction is found to mediate the relationship between charismatic leadership and organizational commitment. The level of charismatic leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment among respondents was generally high. Implications/limitations: The findings provide empirical support for leadership development programs in pesantren that emphasize charismatic attributes such as vision, empathy, and personal influence. Originality/value: This study contributes to highlights the strategic role of the kyai not only as a religious figure but also as a professional leader within organizational frameworks.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative study aims to examine the role of Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School in Jakarta in shaping the character of its students through Arabic language learning. Data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings show that Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School plays a significant role in character development, especially through Arabic language learning, which focuses not only on linguistic skills but also on instilling character values such as honesty, discipline, and social awareness. The teaching methods used, such as muhadatsah, improve students' communication skills while also strengthening their character. However, challenges faced including the influence of technology and globalization, require adaptive strategies that maintain Islamic values. Suggestion, enhancing teacher professionalism, maximizing technology use, as well as innovating the curriculum and extracurricular activities based on Arabic to improve students' character.
