However, many Catholics do not understand the presence of Christ in the Eucharist and even attend the Eucharist celebration haphazardly.Such as afterreceiving communion, immediately cursing, telling stories in Church, playing with cell phones during Eucharist celebrations, taking photos in front of the Tabernacle without respecting and distinguishing the meaning of private mass from community mass.Dotted starting from concerns about the lack of understanding of the Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, the author chose this theme so that people can better appreciate and understand the Presence of Christ in the Eucharist according to the Mysterium Fidei dokumen. To deepen this theme, the author uses a literature review method. From library sources, the author summarizes that through Tansubstantiation the bread and wine are truly the body and blood of Christ which He offered for the salvation of mankind. For this reason, we as Catholic believers welcome the Body and Blood of Christ in the celebration and make room for Him in our hearts. Abstract

This paper is based on the author's concern over the increasingly rampant events of human dignity decline. More of people are less aware of the nobility of their dignity as Imago Dei. The purpose of this writing is to make each individual aware himself as an individual who is able to respect and fight for their own dignity and the others, while also stopping damaging their own dignity and the dignity of others. The method used is a literature review. The author collects, reads, and understands various relevant sources and compiles them into a scientific paper. The results of this research illustrate that humans have a very noble dignity based on their identity as Imago Dei. Humans are bestowed by God with various privileges, such as mind, consciousness, and free will. Therefore, God entrusts humans as His co-workers in the work of creation, and God even gives them the mandate to maintain and guard other creations. Based on their existence, humans live in a trilogy of relationships, namely relationships with God, others, and the universe. Because humans, by their nature, humans are social beings and are the pinnacle of all of God's creations, everyone must respect their own dignity and that of other humans. Humans should live in an atmosphere of universal brotherhood, tolerance, dialogue and peace with each other and the universe.

Abstract

This study is based on the conviction that love for one’s homeland is an integral part of Christian faith, which must be lived out concretely in national and social life. The Catholic Church in Indonesia affirms that patriotism is not merely a moral or political attitude, but an expression of faith manifested through prayer, symbols, and songs within the celebration of the Eucharist. The purpose of this study is to explore how the value of love for the homeland is embodied and expressed liturgically as a contextual form of Catholic faith. This research employed a library research method by examining official Church documents as well as relevant theological and pastoral literature. The analysis was carried out through a descriptive-theological approach that integrates conceptual and contextual perspectives. The findings reveal that love for the homeland in the Eucharistic celebration is manifested through thanksgiving prayers for the nation, the inculturation of national symbols, and the use of patriotic hymns as expressions of faith and gratitude. The Eucharist serves as a sacred meeting point between faith and nationhood, forming believers to be faithful Catholics and true citizens. The study implies that liturgical inculturation plays a vital role as a medium of faith formation and national character building within the Indonesian Catholic Church.

Abstract

The advancement of technology that continues to develop today can help accelerate and simplify human work. Technological progress facilitates communication without limitations of space and time. Easy internet access makes it easier to obtain various types of information. However, the vast amount of information available online can also lead to the spread of hoaxes and misinformation. This makes digital literacy crucial for the public to distinguish between valid and invalid information. Social media, as an easily accessible form of information technology, can serve as an educational medium for promoting digital literacy. Social media as a model for digital literacy can also be applied in science education by providing students with worksheets and asking them to review information found on social media related to specific science topics. This approach not only strengthens students’ digital literacy skills but also deepens their understanding of scientific concepts by connecting them with real-world issues and current information trends. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data derived from previous research conducted over the past ten years. The results show that digital literacy is essential for communities in utilizing technology effectively. A high level of digital literacy enables individuals to differentiate between accurate and inaccurate information. The opportunities for using social media in digital literacy education include enhanced collaborative communication, engagement and accessibility, empowerment, lifelong learning, and the promotion of innovative educational practices. The challenges, however, include limited access and resource constraints, barriers to digital literacy, privacy and security concerns, and ethical and professional considerations. These findings support the strategic integration of social media into public education systems as a tool to enhance both scientific and digital literacy, especially among youth

Abstract

Hope is one of the theological virtues strongly emphasized by Pope Francis, especially in the context of a world marked by suffering, crisis, and uncertainty. This article aims to present the Christian theological understanding of hope according to Pope Francis and to explore its relevance for the Church as it prepares for the Jubilee Year 2025. This study employs a documentary and textual theological analysis of Pope Francis’ catecheses, Sacred Scripture, official Church teachings, and the Jubilee documents. The findings show that Christian hope is rooted in the experience of God who accompanies, liberates, and consoles His people, and is grounded in the Paschal Mystery and the resurrection of Christ. Pope Francis deepens this vision through the figures of Sacred Scripture and through existential dynamics such as learning to hope, resisting despair, and remaining vigilant. Hope is both personal and ecclesial, as the Church is called to be a missionary of hope for the world. These insights highlight the importance of ongoing formation in the faith and concrete works of mercy as expressions of hope, especially as the Church enters the Jubilee Year 2025 as Pilgrims of Hope.
