Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII di MTs Al-Furqan Padang pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak. Hal ini disebabkan oleh peserta didik yang kurang antusias dan cenderung pasif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning by media Storyboard terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak kelas VIII di MTs Al-Furqan Padang, (2) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning by media Storyboard terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak kelas VIII di MTs Al-Furqan Padang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah eskperimen semu (Quasi Experimental Research). Populasi pada penelitian ini merupakan seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII di MTs Al-Furqan Padang tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan SPSS versi 21diperoleh signifikan α dalam 2 sisi (2-tailed) =0,000, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa (0,000<0,05). Dengan demikian, H0 yang berbunyi tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar menggunakan model problem Based Learning by media Storyboard dan model konvensional ditolak dan Hα diterima, artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning by media Storyboard dan menggunakan model konvensional pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak kelas VIII di MTs Al-Furqan Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Padang City Government’s policy on students’ moral and character development through the Smart Surau program. This program is a religious-based character education innovation developed by the local government to strengthen students’ spiritual, social, and moral values. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive and verificative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students participating in the Smart Surau program and interviews with school representatives and program managers. The findings show that government policy has a significant influence on improving students’ morals and character. The Smart Surau program has proven effective in fostering religious attitudes, discipline, responsibility, and social awareness. Therefore, this policy can serve as a model for developing Islamic value-based character education in other regions.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Islam integratif merupakan pendekatan pendidikan yang menyatukan ilmu keislaman dan ilmu umum secara harmonis untuk membentuk karakter peserta didik yang holistik. Integrasi ini tidak hanya mencakup aspek kognitif, tetapi juga spiritual, moral, dan sosial yang berakar pada nilai-nilai ketauhidan. Dalam konteks pendidikan karakter, nilai-nilai Islam seperti kejujuran, kedisiplinan, dan tanggung jawab diinternalisasikan melalui kurikulum dan aktivitas pembelajaran. Dengan strategi pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan kolaboratif, pendidikan Islam mampu mencetak generasi berakhlak mulia dan siap menghadapi tantangan zaman modern.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in schools holds a strategic function in shaping students’ Islamic character, which is closely related to the internalization of values through daily educational culture. Character formation is not limited to cognitive understanding of religious teachings, but is strengthened through habitual practice, social interaction, and reflective experience within the school environment. Project-Based Learning (PjBL) offers a relevant approach for encouraging value embodiment, as it provides meaningful learning activities that connect religious concepts with real-life applications. Collaborative projects, such as social service initiatives, environmental care movements, or mosque stewardship programs, facilitate the development of empathy, responsibility, and spiritual awareness. The internalization process becomes more effective when supported by a school culture that consistently displays Islamic values through teacher role modelling, institutional policies, and participatory student activities. Therefore, strengthening Islamic character requires the integration of PjBL with school-wide cultural practices, collaborative educational relationships, and continuity between school and family environments, forming a comprehensive ecosystem of value education.

Abstract

Globalization accelerates cross-cultural interactions and deepens social plurality, compelling education to move beyond knowledge transmission toward shaping learners capable of engaging constructively with diversity. Multicultural education emerges as a strategic framework for fostering tolerance, empathy, and intercultural competence. This literature-based inquiry analyzes the relevance of multicultural education in addressing global challenges, its integration within curriculum structures, and the role of teachers in cultivating inclusive learning environments. The analysis reveals that multicultural education significantly strengthens social cohesion, enhances learners’ awareness of diversity, and promotes the development of critical and collaborative character traits. These findings highlight the urgency of mainstreaming multicultural values in educational policy and practice to support a harmonious social order amid global dynamics.
