Abstract

The digital era requires Generation Z to build a professional image early in order to compete in the job market. One effective strategy to support this need is developing personal branding through the LinkedIn platform. However, many students still lack understanding of how to create a professional LinkedIn profile. The seminar and training titled “The Importance of LinkedIn Profile as Personal Branding for Generation Z Entering the Workforce” was conducted at SMKS Dewantara to enhance students' knowledge and skills in optimizing their LinkedIn profiles. The training method included theoretical material, hands-on practice, discussions, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test instruments. A total of 30 students participated in this activity, and the evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in LinkedIn account ownership, understanding of personal branding, and ability to utilize LinkedIn features effectively. In addition, feedback from participants showed that the program was useful, relevant, and supported their preparation for future careers. Therefore, this training successfully increased students’ readiness to enter the professional environment by utilizing LinkedIn as a platform for strong personal branding.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and motivation on the productivity of Plant Cikarang U PT. Nippon Indosari Corporindo Tbk. Data were analyzed using validity, reliability, and multiple regression tests, with 76 samples taken from Plant U employees. The hypothesis was tested to apply the T test, F test, and the coefficient of determination. The findings of this study describe the regression equation y = 16,610 + 0.273x1 + 0.454 x2 + e. Variable analysis shows that work discipline has a score of 2,993> t table 1,294, work motivation has a t count score of 4,738> t Table 1,294. Partially disciplined and motivation has a significant positive effect on productivity through sig scores <0.05. Simultaneously, the three variables have F count 56,727> F table 2.38, and Sig 0,000 <0.05 shows a significant effect on employee work productivity. The independent variable explains 61.8% of variations in work productivity, while the remaining 38.2% are explained by other variables. It is recommended that companies increase discipline and employee work motivation to achieve productivity targets.

Abstract

Di era digital saat ini, etika memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter generasi muda. Perkembangan pesat teknologi informasi memengaruhi perilaku siswa, baik di lingkungan pendidikan maupun dalam kehidupan sosial sehari-hari. Menyikapi fenomena ini, Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat dari Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Ekadharma Indonesia mengadakan seminar dengan tema "Peran Etika dalam Membangun Karakter Siswa di Era Digital" yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang pentingnya nilai-nilai etika dan moral dalam kehidupan mereka. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 3 Cikarang, dihadiri oleh siswa kelas X dan XI, serta melibatkan pembicara dari kalangan praktisi dan akademisi.Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi penyampaian materi, sesi diskusi interaktif, serta pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test, sebagian besar peserta belum memahami konsep amanah, akhlak, loyalitas, dan harmonisasi dengan baik. Namun, setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan di mana semua peserta mencapai pemahaman yang baik terhadap semua indikator yang disampaikan. Hasil evaluasi dan umpan balik menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan seminar ini efektif, menarik, dan memberikan dampak positif bagi peserta. dalam membangun karakter yang kuat dan etis, serta mampu menghadapi tantangan di era digital. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi salah satu langkah strategis dalam pengembangan karakter siswa yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the partial and simultaneous effects of leadership style and job characteristics on employee performance. The high number of employee turnover at Sritina Inpatient Primary Clinic indicates that there is a problem with employee performance. This study collected data through questionnaires and used a quantitative associative analysis approach. The questionnaire was given to 56 respondents with validity, reliability, and normality tests used to process the data.  Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, test, partial t test, and simultaneous f test. The results showed that the results of the t test (partial) leadership style had no impact on employee performance, the significance value of 0.381 was greater than 0.05, and the effect of t count 0.884 was less than t table 2.005. Job characteristics have no effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.449> 0.05 and the effect of t count -0.762 < t table 2.005. However, the findings of the F test simultaneously show that leadership style and job characteristics have a significant and positive effect on employee performance, with a significant value of 0.00 < 0.05, and the impact of F count 10.989 is greater than F table 3.17. This research shows that employees of Sritina Primary Inpatient Clinic can significantly improve their performance by applying effective leadership styles and good job characteristics.
