Abstract

Increased awareness of the importance of household organic waste management has driven the development of innovation in waste treatment. This paper deals with the design and implementation of intelligent garbage cans that can turn household trash, especially food and vegetable residues, into high-quality composite materials. The system uses efficient aerobic composting technology to accelerate the organic decomposition process. Through automatic monitoring and optimum setting of environmental conditions, these garbage cans can produce fertile compost in a short time. In addition to providing practical solutions to household garbage management, the importance of keeping the environment on its own is also emphasized. Through awareness of the negative impact of waste on the environment, individuals can play an active role in promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.

Abstract

Skincare product is any type of formulation intended to be topically applied with the intention of improving skin appearance, texture, or health. The burgeoning skincare product market in Indonesia, particulary in E-Commerce, underscores a shift towards online purchasing habits. With platforms like Shopee, Tokopedia, and Lazada dominating, user reviews play a pivotal role when making decision. However the sheer volume of reviews necessitates efficient processing methods. Aspect Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA) emerges as a solution, delving deeper into sentiment analysis by identifying specific aspects within user feedback. Previous studies have shown Convolutional Neural Network based algorithms to have high performance in similar contexts. In this study, the author used CNN mixed with Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) alongside Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) and Bag of Words (BoW) as feature selection techniques to classify aspects into 5 classes and sentiment into 2 classes. The result of aspect classification produced accuracy, precission, recall, and F1-Score of 87.3%, 87%, 87%, and 85.9%. Meanwhile sentiment classification produced accuracy, precission, recall, and F1-Score of 87%, 87%, 87%, and 87%

Abstract

The success of an application is measured by conducting evaluations to ensure their product is easy to use, understand, and provides a positive experience for users. The Instix application is designed to help business owners centrally manage their products across multiple platforms. This research aims to evaluate the UI design of the Instix application using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. This research involved 20 participants who were asked to complete certain tasks in the Instix application. Participants then fill out a questionnaire to assess several aspects. The research results show that the evaluation score using the Instix application's Usability Scale (SUS) System method is 87 with the best imaginable category, which shows that this application meets UI and UX quality standards, which can provide an optimal experience in using the application.

Abstract

Patient safety has always been a top priority, and medication error is a significant concern in this domain. Prescriptions are a crucial factor that can elevate the risk of medication errors. A study by Prof. Dr. Nurul Idrus involving 1,200 drug users revealed that a substantial number of respondents misused prescriptions and experimented with obtained medications to substitute for those they couldn't easily access. To address this issue and enhance patient safety, we propose utilizing the AES encryption algorithm to safeguard the confidentiality of prescriptions. AES encryption offers robust protection against unauthorized access and data breaches. Furthermore, employing the CBC (Cipher Block Chaining) mode provides an additional layer of security. In CBC mode, each block of the message is encrypted not only with the encryption key but also with the ciphertext of the previous block, resulting in a unique encrypted message even for identical plaintexts. This combination of AES encryption and CBC mode effectively safeguards prescription data, minimizing the potential for prescription misuse and medication errors, ultimately contributing to improved patient safety.

Abstract

As the digital era advances, protecting sensitive information becomes crucial. One approach used is the steganography technique, which involves hiding secret messages in plain-looking media. In this context, the LSB (Least Significant Bit) steganography technique emerged as a common choice, exploiting changes in the least significant bits of media such as images to hide secret messages. This research aims to analyze and apply LSB steganography techniques in modern image formats such as PNG, WEBp, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, HEIF, GIF, and SVG. Through implementation in the form of a computer program with the python programming language, this research evaluates the performance of the technique and makes it applicable in various realworld scenarios. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of more effective information security solutions and become the basis for further research in the field of steganography and information security as a whole. The results obtained from this research are that the encryption process of modern image formats has a success rate of 81.25% with an average successful sample encryption speed of 1.55 seconds. and the modern image format decryption process has a success rate of 81.25% with a text match rate of 69.23%.

Abstract

Effective nutritional monitoring to improve public health has become increasingly important in the modern era. NutriMinder is an application intended to provide easy-to-understand food guidance and help users monitor their daily nutritional intake. In this article, the NutriMinder algorithm and application design are discussed. It includes initialization, user registration, food logging, nutrition monitoring, food recommendations, analysis and reports, and user interface.

Abstract

Heart, as one of the most important organs in the body, carries a risk of death if abnormalities occur. Heart problems are divided into two categories: heart failure and heart attacks. According to WHO data, approximately 7.3 million people worldwide die due to heart disease. This study uses a dataset of heart disease patients and applies the XGBoost algorithm. The objectives of this study are to process and analyze the data, implement the XGBoost algorithm for heart disease classification, and evaluate the performance of the XGBoost algorithm. The result of this study is the performance evaluation of the XGBoost algorithm, which achieved an accuracy of 93%.

Abstract

This research aims to implement a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) in facial expression classification using the Kaggle dataset which consists of five types of facial expressions, namely anger, disgust, fear, happiness and sadness. This method is considered important in supporting various applications such as emotion detection, facial recognition, and better human-machine communication. In this research, data preprocessing and augmentation were carried out using ImageDataGenerator to increase data diversity and prevent overfitting. Next, a CNN architecture is built which consists of convolution layers, pooling layers, and Dense layers. The model was trained using the Adam optimizer with a categorical crossentropy loss function for 50 epochs. The results show that the model achieves approximately 51% accuracy on the validation set. However, further analysis showed variations in model performance among facial expression classes, with some classes performing better than others.

Abstract

Indonesia is known for its rich diversity, encompassing ethnicity, religion, culture, customs, and traditional artifacts, including traditional weapons. Traditional weapons hold significant historical and cultural value in Indonesia. To preserve and represent knowledge about these traditional weapons, an ontology model is essential. Ontology serves as a knowledge base that can effectively capture and represent information. In this project, we developed an ontology model for traditional weapons in Indonesia using the Protégé ontology development tool. The METHONTOLOGY method guided the step-by-step development of the ontology model, providing detailed descriptions for each stage. The ontology model consists of 6 classes, 4 object properties, 1 data property, and 72 individuals. We conducted testing of the ontology model through SPARQL queries. By building this ontology model, our aim is to contribute to the preservation and documentation of Indonesia's cultural heritage related to traditional weapons. The ontology serves as a valuable resource for researchers, enthusiasts, and institutions interested in studying and promoting traditional weapons in Indonesia.

Abstract

During the last 36 years, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has received more than 5 million calls about cases of missing children. In 2019 alone, the NCMEC assisted law enforcement and families with more than 29,000 cases of missing children. In Asia itself, it is estimated that there are around 20,000 to 200,000 missing children. More precisely in China and Southeast Asia. To help reduce the rate of loss of children in Indonesia, the authors created a design solution using the prototyping and UML methods. By using this prototype, users will be able to track the child's location and provide assistance in the form of a help button if something happens to the child. With this solution, it is hoped that it can help children who are in an emergency and parents who have lost their children so as to suppress the growth of cases of missing children.
