Abstract

Taman Pustaka 'Aisyiyah Dzakiya is a reading park under the auspices of the Pimpinan Cabang 'Aisyiyah Minggir Cultural Institute which is located in the Al-Umar Parakan Wetan Sendangsari Minggir Mosque complex, Sleman Yogyakarta. Taman Pustaka 'Aisyiyah Dzakiya was founded in 2019 after receiving the first grant from the National Library of Indonesia. The main problems faced include that Taman Pustaka 'Aisyiyah Dzakiya has not upgraded its reading books or other supporting facilities, so its resources are still limited. The management carried out by volunteers is considered less than optimal, because there is no strong motivation from the management to maximize the value of this reading park. To be able to overcome this problem, the service team tried to provide a solution by creating a program whose aim was to increase the value of the Taman Pustaka 'Aisyiyah Dzakiya using a learning method approach through stories. So, the activity that will be carried out is storytelling training for kindergarten and PAUD teachers in Kapanewon Minggir. Apart from that, another activity that the proposing team offers as a solution to improve the functionality of Taman Pustaka 'Aisyiyah Dzakiya is improving the physical facilities of the library, namely by repairing damaged cupboards and increasing the collection of reading books in the library. Methods for implementing activities include preparation and coordination, repair and upgrading of facilities, implementation of storytelling training, and evaluation and monitoring.

Abstract

COVID-19 outbreaks are known as catalysts of digitalization in all industries, including the financial industry, because of the emergence of financial technology. Prior research often illustrated the impact of emerging financial technology on industries at the moment or during a pandemic. However, little attention has been devoted to these impacts during the pandemic. Given a sight from the consumer's perspective, we tried to examine the causality between financial technology's growth and the bank's performance and efficiency. We utilized conventional banks as our population with sample criteria listed banks in Southeast Asia from 2017 to 2019. We employed generalized least squares and the generalized method of moment as regression methods to examine those causalities. Descriptive statistical analysis, determining estimation models, and classical assumption tests were also carried out. A total sample of 102 banks, Our findings suggest that ever since pre-pandemic, financial technology has significantly impacted banks' performance and efficiency. The growth of financial technology caused a significant decrease in the bank's performance and an increase in the bank's efficiency. Keywords: Financial Technology, Performance, Efficiency, Banking, Pre-Pandemic Abstrak Wabah Covid-19 diketahui menjadi katalis digitalisasi pada semua industri termasuk industri keuangan melalui munculnya teknologi keuangan. Penelitian sebelumnya sering menjelaskan mengenai dampak teknologi keuangan pada saat atau pasca pandemi. Namun, masih sedikit penelitian yang berfokus pada dampak tersebut sebelum pandemi terjadi. Melihat dari sudut pandang konsumen, peneliti mengkaji hubungan sebab akibat antara pertumbuhan teknologi keuangan terhadap kinerja dan efisiensi bank. Menggunakan populasi bank konvensional dengan kriteria sampel bank yang terdaftar di bursa Asia Tenggara pada tahun 2017 hingga 2019. Peneliti mengoperasikan Generalized Least Square dan Generalized Method of Moment sebagai metode regresi untuk menguji hubungan tersebut. Selain itu dilakukan juga analisa descriptive statistic, determining estimation model, dan uji asumsi klasik. Dengan total sampel 102 bank, temuan menunjukkan bahwa sejak sebelum pandemi, teknologi keuangan telah berdampak signifikan terhadap kinerja dan efisiensi bank. Pertumbuhan teknologi finansial menyebabkan penurunan kinerja bank secara signifikan dan peningkatan efisiensi bank Kata kunci: Teknologi Finansial, Kinerja, Effisiensi, Perbankan, Pra Pandemi

Abstract

In an era of rapid technological growth, data and information have become vital for businesses. To effectively manage large volumes of data and integrate information across various departments, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is essential. However, the implementation of ERP poses challenges as it requires careful consideration of economic, technical, and technological factors. This research seeks to analyze the effects of ERP implementation on the financial performance of companies, specifically focusing on PT. XYZ, a medical equipment distributor in Indonesia. A qualitative descriptive methodology is utilized to explore how ERP supports data management and handles increases in transaction volume. Implementations of ERP systems, such as Odoo, offer significant advantages, including the capability to generate real-time financial reports and track cash flow in line with the company's logistics activities. Nevertheless, the ERP implementation process demands considerable time and effort from management to ensure accurate and consistent data entry.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious health issue in Indonesia caused by chronic malnutrition, negatively impacting both physical growth and psychological development in children. Although the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia decreased from 37.2% in 2013 to 30.8% in 2018, it remains far from the 14% reduction target set for 2024. This study evaluates the effectiveness of a community service program in Joyosuran Village aimed at reducing stunting rates and improving children's psychological well-being through education and group discussions. The methods used included workshops and focus group discussions (FGD) with 50 participants from the Aisyiyah organization. The results indicate an increased understanding among participants regarding stunting prevention and child psychology management, and the application of this knowledge in daily life. The program successfully educated the community about the importance of nutritious diets and emotional support for children, demonstrating that a comprehensive approach can contribute to reducing stunting and improving children's psychological health..

Abstract

Sustainability has increasingly become a central concern in the global business landscape, marked by a heightened focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance as an indicator of corporate responsibility and long-term value. This study aims to analyze the influence of corporate governance and financial performance on ESG performance among companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research utilizes secondary data derived from annual and sustainability reports during the 2020–2022 period. The findings indicate that an effective governance structure and sound financial condition can enhance a company’s commitment to sustainable business practices. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of two internal aspects—corporate governance and financial performance—into a single ESG analytical framework, distinguishing it from previous studies that examined these factors separately. The focus on companies in developing country context provides valuable contributions to the ESG literature, which has predominantly centered on developed markets.

Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan penyakit kronis seperti hipertensi dan diabetes di usia produktif disebabkan oleh pola gaya hidup tidak sehat, sehingga kelompok remaja adalah sasaran utama intervensi preventif untuk membentuk kebiasaan sehat sejak dini. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kesehatan kepada remaja mengenai pentingnya penerapan gaya hidup sehat sebagai upaya pencegahan penyakit kronis di masa mendatang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu edukasi kesehatan secara interaktif menggunakan media PowerPoint, diskusi terbuka, dan pemeriksaan kesehatan dasar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah sukses dilaksanakan pada hari Rabu, 24 Oktober 2025. Lokasi pelaksanaan pengabdian bertempat di salah satu sekolah di Kabupaten Sragen, dengan total 25 remaja berpartisipasi sebagai peserta. Evaluasi pretest posttest dilakukan untuk mengukur pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: pengetahuan peserta meningkat dari 77.6% menjadi 91.2% dan kemampuan praktik pemeriksaan kesehatan dasar meningkat drastic dari 8% menjadi 92% peserta mampu melakukannya secara mandiri. Oleh karena itu, disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan edukasi dan demonstrasi praktik ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman kognitif dan keterampilan psikomotorik peserta, sehingga diharapkan mampu mendorong penerapan nyata gaya hidup sehat dan menciptakan generasi yang lebih sehat di masa depan.Abstract: The increasing incidence of chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs), notably hypertension and diabetes, within the productive age group is predominantly linked to detrimental lifestyle patterns, consequently positioning adolescents as the optimal demographic for targeted preventive interventions aimed at establishing sustainable healthy habits. This community service initiative sought to provide comprehensive health education to adolescents regarding the critical importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle for future chronic disease prevention. The pedagogical approach utilized was interactive education, incorporating PowerPoint presentations, open discussions, and a hands-on demonstration of basic health check practice. The intervention was successfully executed on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at one of school in Sragen, involving a total of 25 female adolescents. Evaluation was administered via an identical pretest posttest to quantify improvements in both knowledge and practical skills. The findings demonstrated a statistically significant enhancement in participants' knowledge, which rose from an initial mean score of 77.6% to 91.2%. Furthermore, psychomotor evaluation revealed a dramatic increase in practical competence: the proportion of participants able to perform basic health check practices independently increased substantially from only 8% to 92%. It can be concluded that this structured educational and practical demonstration activity successfully enhanced the participants' cognitive understanding and psychomotor skills, which is anticipated to actively promote the tangible adoption of a healthy lifestyle, thereby mitigating future NCD incidence.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah meningkatkan kemudahan transaksi keuangan masyarakat, namun di sisi lain juga memunculkan berbagai risiko kejahatan digital, khususnya penipuan online yang banyak menyasar kelompok lanjut usia dengan tingkat literasi digital yang masih rendah. Masjid sebagai pusat aktivitas keagamaan dan sosial memiliki potensi strategis untuk menjadi media edukasi berbasis komunitas dalam meningkatkan literasi keuangan digital masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan digital jamaah Masjid Baitul Muslim di Dusun Timbang, Desa Kebanggan, Kabupaten Banyumas, sekaligus meningkatkan kenyamanan beribadah melalui perbaikan fasilitas masjid. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif dan edukatif melalui tahapan identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk edukasi dan penyuluhan literasi keuangan digital yang dilengkapi dengan simulasi pengenalan modus penipuan online, serta pengadaan dan pemasangan karpet masjid. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman jamaah terhadap ciri-ciri penipuan digital, di mana sebagian besar jamaah mampu mengenali dan menyebutkan karakteristik utama modus penipuan online setelah kegiatan edukasi. Selain itu, peremajaan fasilitas masjid memberikan dampak positif terhadap kenyamanan jamaah dalam beribadah dan mendukung keberlangsungan kegiatan sosial keagamaan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat peran masjid sebagai pusat pembinaan umat yang adaptif terhadap tantangan era digital serta meningkatkan perlindungan masyarakat dari risiko penipuan online.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is one of many sectors that supports economic growth in Indonesia. Indonesian mostly work as entrepreneurs, so entrepreneurship is one of economic growth’s pillars in Indonesia. Entrepreneurship can increase financial independence for those who do it. Work flexibility makes entrepreneurship an option that is in demand by many people, including students. However, interest and motivation in entrepreneurship need to be fostered, one of which is through entrepreneurship education. Using respondents from students of the Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, this study tries to test the effect of entrepreneurship education on interest and motivation to become entrepreneurs. This study operates Smart Partial Least Squares (SPLS) to test the relationship between variables. The findings in this study confirm that entrepreneurship education can increase interest and motivation to become entrepreneurs, especially among students.
