Abstract

Abstract: Reading interest is very important to grow from an early age in elementary school because with reading interest students will get a lot of knowledge from reading. This study aimed  to determine the correlations between between perceptions of parental involvement in education and students' reading interest. The research method used is a quantitative correlation approach. In this study, the researcher used some scales, namely scale of perceptions of parental involvement in education, and scale of students' interest in reading. The population of this study was all third, fourth, and fifth grade students of Triharjo State Elementary School in Sleman, with a total sample of 124 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a sample size of 124 students with the sample criteria, namely students in grade 3,4 and 5, male and female and live with their parents. To analyze the  hypothesis the Product Moment correlation technique was used. The results of the analysis show that there is a correlation between perceptions of parents' involvement and students' reading interest with an r value of 0.697.  The results of this study indicate that students' reading interest is in the medium category, it is obtained from the classification results for the medium category as much as 80.6%, and students have a high perception of parental involvement in education as much as 51.6%. Abstrak: Minat baca merupakan hal penting penting untuk di tumbuhkan sejak dini khususnya pada siswa sekolah dasar, karena dengan adanya minat baca siswa-siswi akan mendapat banyak pengetahuan dari membaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi keterlibatan orangtua dalam pendidikan dengan minat baca siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu  pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan skala yaitu skala minat baca dan skala persepsi keterlibatan orangtua dalam pendidikan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini  adalah seluruh siswa kelas 3,4, dan 5 di SDN Triharjo Sleman. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel adalah 124 siswa dengan kriteria sampel yaitu siswa kelas 3, 4 dan 5, laki-laki dan peremuan serta tinggal bersama orangtua. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa  ada hubungan antara persepsi keterlibatan orangtua dalam pendidikan dengan minat baca siswa, nilai r = 0,697. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan  bawa minat baca siswa berada pada  kategori sedang sebanyak  80,6%, dan siswa memiliki persepsi keterlibatan orangtua dalam pendidikan yang tinggi sebanyak 51,6%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between hardiness personality and learning discipline in adolescent students who live in madania Islamic boarding schools. This study uses quantitative methods to analyze using Spearman correlation statistical analysis. Determining the number of samples that the researchers did, using a cluster random sampling technique, namely a cluster sampling technique. The sample in this study was teenage students who lived in the Madania Islamic Boarding School which collected 100 students. The research data was collected using a personality scale of hardiness and a learning discipline scale that was made by the researcher himself. The hardiness personality scale has a valid Cronbach's Alpha 0,918 value and the learning discipline scale has a valid Cronbach's Alpha 0,943 value.Based on the results of statistical tests obtained a positive correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.772 and a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.01), this indicates that there is a significant positive relationship between personality hardiness and learning discipline. This means that the higher the resilient personality variable will cause the learning discipline variable to increase. The effective contribution given or the contribution of learning hardiness personality with discipline was 59.6%.Keywords - Hardiness Personality, Learning Discipline, Student Youth

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kesadaran diri dengan kedisiplinan belajar pada siswa SMK “X” Magelang. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah Siswa Kelas XI SMK “X” Magelang dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 119 subjek. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala kedisiplin belajar dan skala kesadaran diri. Instrumen penelitian skala disiplin belajar (?) = 0,942 dengan 41 item valid dan kesadaran diri (?) = 0,921 dengan 41 item valid. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kesadaran diri dengan kedisiplinan belajar pada siswa SMK “X” Magelang dengan nilai (rxy) sebesar 0,760 , taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05). Sumbangan efektif kesadaran diri terhadap kedisiplinan belajar adalah sebesar 57,7%. Sampel penelitian memiliki kesadaran diri dengan kategori sedang sebesar 70,6% dan kedisiplinan belaja dengan kategori sedang sebesar 63,9%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between parental social support and hardiness and academic stress in final year students. The research method used is quantitative correlational. The research sample is active final year students, female and male, who are working on their thesis/final project. The number of samples in this research was 200 students. The research sampling technique used accidental sampling. The research instrument was used to measure the 3 variables, namely the academic stress scale, hardiness scale and parental social support scale. The research data analysis method uses product moment analysis and regression. Research findings show that, (1) there is a negative relationship between hardiness and academic stress with rxy= -0.714, (p<0.000); (2) there is a negative relationship between parental social support and academic stress with a value of rxy= - 0.712 (p<0.000); (3) there is a stimulant relationship between parental social support and hardiness with academic stress with a value of r = 0.761, F= 135.72 (p<0.000). The effective contribution of family social support and hardiness to academic stress was 57.9%. The implication of this research is that final year students have a tough personality (hardiness) and there needs to be social support from parents for students while working on their thesis so that students avoid high academic stress.

Abstract

The development of the era and technology has led to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in human activities. This is a challenge for parents in caring for and raising children so that they have good mental development when living side by side with artificial intelligence so that they do not experience problems such as mental health, low social and emotional skills, and critical thinking skills, so that the pattern of 'gentle parenting' appears to answer the challenges of parenting children in the era of artificial intelligence (AI). The method used in studying the topic above is qualitative with a literature review approach with the aim of examining the sources of articles published in journals whose article topics are in line with the theme of "gentle parenting. The page sources accessed in searching for articles consist of Sciencedirect, Emerlad, Scopus, Elsevier, Researchgate, Springer and Google Scholar. Based on the collection and review of articles conducted, it was found that the Implementation of the "Gentle Parenting" Parenting Pattern has a positive impact on children's mental health, children's emotional regulation, children's social skills in the learning process, children's emotional intelligence, discipline, and children's critical thinking skills and creativity in facing challenges in the Era of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Higlights: Gentle parenting enhances children's emotional intelligence and social skills in the AI era. It promotes better mental health and emotional regulation in children. The approach fosters critical thinking, creativity, and discipline in children.
