Abstract

Sekolah merupakan rumah kedua bagi peserta didik karena sebagian besar anak-anak menghabiskan waktunya di sekolah. Di sekolah juga terjadi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang maksimal bagi siswa termasuk kesehatan jiwa. Masa remaja merupakan masa yang paling rentan terhadap gangguan psikologis. Gangguan kesehatan mental merupakan hasil interaksi antara predisposisi atau kerentanan dan stres yang disebabkan oleh pengalaman hidup seperti stresor rumah, akademik, dan teman sebaya sebagai tiga domain stres umum untuk remaja apabila tidak diatasi secara positif, dapat berkontribusi pada masalah perilaku yang terinternalisasi dan perilaku bunuh diri. Masalah kesehatan mental yang tidak diobati seperti depresi, kecemasan, dan gangguan pasca trauma (post-traumatic stress disorder) akan memengaruhi kemampuan remaja untuk terlibat secara bermakna dalam pembelajaran dan fungsi pada masa dewasa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan sosialisasi dan promosi tentang kesehatan jiwa melalui pelatihan kader sekolah sehat jiwa. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta kesadaran tentang kesehatan jiwa bagi warga sekolah. Sekolah dapat memasukkan ke dalam program kurikulum tentang literasi kesehatan jiwa pada saat Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS).

Abstract

The development of the era and technology has led to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in human activities. This is a challenge for parents in caring for and raising children so that they have good mental development when living side by side with artificial intelligence so that they do not experience problems such as mental health, low social and emotional skills, and critical thinking skills, so that the pattern of 'gentle parenting' appears to answer the challenges of parenting children in the era of artificial intelligence (AI). The method used in studying the topic above is qualitative with a literature review approach with the aim of examining the sources of articles published in journals whose article topics are in line with the theme of "gentle parenting. The page sources accessed in searching for articles consist of Sciencedirect, Emerlad, Scopus, Elsevier, Researchgate, Springer and Google Scholar. Based on the collection and review of articles conducted, it was found that the Implementation of the "Gentle Parenting" Parenting Pattern has a positive impact on children's mental health, children's emotional regulation, children's social skills in the learning process, children's emotional intelligence, discipline, and children's critical thinking skills and creativity in facing challenges in the Era of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Higlights: Gentle parenting enhances children's emotional intelligence and social skills in the AI era. It promotes better mental health and emotional regulation in children. The approach fosters critical thinking, creativity, and discipline in children. Abstract

There is substantial amount of human scavenger experiencinglimitation to attend formal educations, e.g., limited access to educationor forced to quit at young age to make living. Community of Sant’Egidio(CoS) is a community-based education provider starting in Italy in1968 and branching in Yogyakarta, especially at Kampung PemulungBlok O Yogyakarta (KPBOY). Several challenges faced by CoS, including socially (peers) supported habit of streets living of human scavenger. The aim of this study is to profoundly examine the motivation and challenges faced by CoS in providing educational services at KPBOY.Using qualitative approach, this study employed case study method and purposive sampling. Results showed that in providing educational services, CoS experienced several challenges. However, members of CoS are highly motivated to implement the educational services.
