Abstract

Organizational commitment throughout the world, especially in Indonesia, is still very low. Similarly, in RS Medika Lestari itself, it can be seen that the commitment of each is not optimal with high nurse turnover and the tenure of nurses, most of whom are less than 1 year. For this reason, this study will examine the factors that are thought to affect organizational commitment, especially in RS Medika Lestari. This study will use factors such as Career Development, Remuneration, and Work Motivation. This research is an explanatory research using a quantitative approach. This study uses a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire distributed to 80 respondents who are nurses at RS Medika Lestari. The results obtained from this study are career development and remuneration partially have a significant influence on organizational commitment and work motivation. Work motivation can mediate the influence between career development on organizational commitment, work motivation also can mediate the influence between remuneration on organizational commitmen.

Abstract

Abstract

The completeness of nursing care documentation serves as a primary indicator of hospital service quality and remains a critical component of patient safety, clinical communication, and legal accountability. Despite its importance, empirical evidence from various healthcare facilities indicates that nursing records are frequently suboptimal, incomplete, or inconsistent. This study aims to analyze the complex interrelationships between burnout and coaching on the completeness of nursing care documentation, specifically examining the role of nursing competence as a mediating (intervening) variable at the Dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid General Hospital in Bekasi City. Utilizing a quantitative research framework with a cross-sectional design, this study sampled practicing nurses stationed across inpatient and intensive care units. Primary data were gathered through a validated, structured questionnaire designed to measure psychological burnout, the frequency of clinical coaching, perceived professional competence, and the objective completeness of documentation. The data were subjected to rigorous analysis using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to test the hypothesized pathways within the conceptual model. The results demonstrated that burnout exerts a significant negative influence on both nursing competence and the quality of documentation, suggesting that emotional exhaustion hinders professional performance. Conversely, systematic coaching was found to have a significant positive impact, directly improving both competence levels and documentation adherence. Critically, the analysis confirmed that nursing competence acts as a vital intervening variable; it effectively mediates and strengthens the influence of both burnout reduction and coaching interventions on the overall completeness of nursing care records. This study concludes that proactive burnout management and the institutionalization of structured coaching programs are essential strategic priorities. By addressing these factors, hospital management can enhance individual nurse competence, thereby ensuring high-quality, comprehensive nursing documentation that supports patient safety and institutional integrity.

Abstract

The implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) at the Ancol Field Hospital (Rumkitlap Ancol) continues to face resistance from healthcare workers, a factor that could hinder the system's success. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital literacy and system quality on EMR user resistance, both directly and with transformational leadership acting as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach with a causal-explanatory design was employed. The study population consisted of 124 healthcare and administrative staff, with a sample of 95 respondents selected via simple random sampling. Data were collected using a 1–4 Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that digital literacy, system quality, and transformational leadership simultaneously exert a significant influence on EMR user resistance, accounting for 43.6% of the variance (Adjusted R² = 0.436). Individually, digital literacy had a significant negative effect on resistance (β = -0.491; p = 0.000), as did system quality (β = -0.432; p = 0.000). Transformational leadership was not found to moderate the influence of either digital literacy (t = 0.893 < 1.96) or system quality (t = 1.005 < 1.96) on resistance. These findings underscore that reducing EMR resistance requires enhancing healthcare workers' digital literacy, improving system quality to ensure responsiveness and reliability, and strengthening transformational leadership as a direct approach, rather than relying solely on the moderating role of leadership.

Abstract

Hospital brand image is formed from patient assessments of ease of access, quality of relationship management, and experience during receiving services. Objective: To analyze the in-fluence of Service Access and Customer Relationship Management on Brand Image with Patient Experience as an intervening variable in the Outpatient Installation of R. Syamsudin, SH Regional General Hospital. Quantitative research with a cross-sectional design involving 216 new patients with cash payment methods selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a four-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using AMOS-based Structural Equa-tion Modeling and the Sobel Test. Service Access, Customer Relationship Management, and Patient Experience simultaneously had a significant effect on Brand Image (F = 391.207; R² = 0.847). All direct effects were significant, namely Service Access on Brand Image (β = 0.279), Customer Relationship Management on Brand Image (β = 0.514), Service Access on Patient Expe-rience (β = 0.430), Customer Relationship Management on Patient Experience (β = 0.751), and Patient Experience on Brand Image (β = 0.366). Patient Experience partially mediated the effect of Service Access on Brand Image (Sobel = 5.332; p < 0.001) and the effect of Customer Relationship Management on Brand Image (Sobel = 5.525; p < 0.001). Hospital management needs to adjust operating hours, simplify service flows, strengthen a culture of care, and ensure services meet patient expectations to improve the hospital's experience and image.
