Abstract

The spread of misinformation, or what is usually called hoax, ahead of the general election has increased sharply. There are increasingly new ways to disseminate misinformation; one example is context collapse. Digital literacy skills are considered effective in preventing negative impacts from spreading misinformation. This research uses a qualitative approach by reviewing the literature in depth regarding digital literacy skills to respond to the negative effects of misinformation. This research aims to explain various methods of digital literacy skills. Digital literacy methods can be applied, namely social networking, transliteracy, maintaining privacy, filtering, and selecting content. An approach to harmonizing digital literacy concepts, conducting periodic surveys regarding the digital literacy index every year, being an initiator in creating a digital literacy landscape, making the digital literacy curriculum an essential part of a sustainable program, and including more measurable targets in responding to misinformation. At the same time, increasing the digital literacy index in Indonesia in 2023 will become a fundamental strategy as a form of prevention in preparing for the Indonesian nation's annual activities, namely the general election in 2024.

Abstract

As time goes by, technology is also developing rapidly, making everything digital, including libraries, which are also experiencing developments where all library collections  have  been  digitized.  Conventional libraries have become digital libraries. One application that has many digital collections is iPusnas. This national digital library has a collection of 73,302 book titles and 891,397 ebook copies, which can be downloaded and installed on Playstore/Appstore. This research aims to determine user satisfaction with the iPusnas application based on   user   experience.   This   research   method   uses quantitative methods. The data collection techniques in this research are literature study and questionnaire data. The data analysis technique uses the Webqual 4.0 method. The results of this research are that respondents are very satisfied with the iPusnas application and do not experience problems when logging in. Many also agree that the queue to borrow collections on the iPusnas application is very long. Hence, the writer/researcher wants to suggest increasing the number of copies of books (ebooks) that people can read—users of the iPusnas application.

Abstract

The preservation of intangible cultural heritage plays a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of community identity amid modernization and social change. This study aims to analyze the community curation model applied by the Boen Tek Bio Association in sustaining the traditions, rituals, oral histories, and cultural expressions of the Cina Benteng community in Tangerang, Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, data were collected through structured interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis was employed to identify patterns of curation, community participation dynamics, and factors influencing the sustainability of intangible cultural practices. The findings reveal that the curation of intangible heritage at Boen Tek Bio is conducted through the preservation of traditional rituals such as Gotong Toapekong and Peh Cun, the transmission of mythological stories, and the revitalization of traditional performing arts such as folk songs with Chinese-Malay influences. Active community involvement across generations, organizational support structures, and the limited adaptation to digital technology are key factors in maintaining these traditions. The main challenges identified include the lack of intergenerational cultural knowledge transfer and the decreasing interest among younger generations due to modernization. This study underscores the importance of participatory and community-based curation models in preserving intangible cultural heritage and highlights the potential of developing digital curation strategies as an adaptive response for the future.
