Abstract

Caring for a corpse is an important practice that must be learned, as it is considered obligatory in Islam when no one else is available to perform it. This community service project aims to enhance understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of corpse care among students at Nurul Mushofa Islamic Boarding School in Tambak Lekok Village and Darun Najah MTs in Tampung Lekok Village, Pasuruan. The project was based on research conducted using the Participatory Action Research method. The results indicate that students at Nurul Mushofa Islamic Boarding School and MTs Darun Najah have significantly improved their knowledge and skills in both the theoretical and practical aspects of corpse care

Abstract

Peribadahan di masyarakat Islam yang diambil dari dalil-dalil shohih masih menjadi problem di Islam Kontemporer. Bentuk ke-sanad-an dan doktrin Ashabiyah menjadi revalidasi masyarakat dalam memilah ajaran Islam untuk beribadah. Masyarakat cenderung melakukan politisasi agama dalam memilah sumber Islam, sehingga perbedaan beribadah sangat sulit diterima karena kuatnya politisasi Ashabiyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan literatur review untuk mendapatkan data primer dan skunder dari motif politisasi ashabiyah yang dilakukan oleh Nahdlatul Ulama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan masyarakat Islam Kontemporer motif bermazhab masih dilanggengkan melalui politisasi Ashabiyah Nahdlatul Ulama. Gerakan politisasi Ashabiyah Nahdlatul Ulama ditemukan 1) menjadikan masjid agung sebagai identitas yang ter-validasi dengan ibadah yang diakui negara, 2) penetapan hari besar adalah keputusan masyarakat Ashabiyah Nahdlatul Ulama.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the efforts of the academic community at MTs Unggulan Al-Jadid Waru Sidoarjo in internalizing religious values among students through various positive activities within the school environment. The research focuses on the methods or strategies used to internalize these values through positive activities. A qualitative approach with field study methods was employed in this research. Data were collected through interviews and observations. The findings reveal that the internalization process is carried out through habituation and a deep understanding of belief values and Islamic norms, reflected in routine activities such as 5S (Smile, Greeting, Salutation, Politeness, and Courtesy), recitation of prayers and the Qur'an before lessons, congregational prayers, commemoration of Islamic holidays, and religious extracurricular activities. The academic community employs a holistic strategy that includes integrating a values-based curriculum, habituation through daily routines and extracurricular activities, as well as role modeling from all members of the academic community. Effective communication between the school, students, and parents is also a crucial factor in supporting the internalization of religious values. Although there is no specific written plan, the school has successfully integrated religious values into various daily activities and provided role models from the entire academic community, thus shaping students' character to be religious, disciplined, and morally upright.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami secara mendalam bagaimana proses rekrutmen bakal calon anggota legislatif (Bacaleg) dilakukan oleh Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) di Kabupaten Sidoarjo menjelang Pemilu 2024. Sebagai salah satu partai berbasis massa Islam terbesar di Indonesia, PKB memainkan peran strategis dalam menentukan arah politik lokal. Proses rekrutmen Bacaleg bukan hanya soal teknis seleksi, tetapi juga mencerminkan nilai, strategi, dan dinamika kekuasaan yang hidup dalam struktur internal partai. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap pengurus partai, calon legislatif, dan aktor lokal lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun PKB telah mencoba membangun sistem rekrutmen yang lebih terbuka dan sistematis, praktik informal seperti patronase, loyalitas personal, dan kekuatan modal masih memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam proses seleksi. Prosedur formal seperti Uji Kelayakan dan Kepatutan (UKK) memang dijalankan, namun efektivitasnya sering kali dipengaruhi oleh dinamika internal partai dan konteks sosial-politik lokal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa rekrutmen Bacaleg masih menjadi ruang tarik-menarik antara idealisme demokrasi dan realitas politik praktis. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan refleksi dan rekomendasi bagi perbaikan sistem rekrutmen partai politik di tingkat lokal agar lebih transparan, adil, dan berbasis meritokrasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of TPACK-based learning media, to determine the increase in student learning activity, and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of TPACK-based learning media in increasing student activity in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMA Wahid Hasyim 2 Taman Sidoarjo. This type of research is qualitative research with an inductive descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. This study is based on the conditions of SMA Wahid Hasyim 2 Taman Sidoarjo. Duringn the learning process, some students tend to be less active and unproductive in the Islamic Religious Education learning process. The results of this study are that the implementation of TPACK-based learning media in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMA Wahid Hasyim 2 Taman Sidoarjo went well. In its implementation, Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMA Wahid Hasyim 2 Taman Sidoarjo have involved TPACK in the learning process. This can be seen from the learning planning that Islamic Religious Education teachers have made in the teaching module, Students feel more interested in learning Islamic Religious Education because the methods used are not boring and there are always new things that can be learned through technology. The research results conclude that the implementation of TPACK-based learning media in Islamic Religious Education learning can increase student activity. It can be seen from the activity of students who were initially less active in learning, which showed an increase in active learning after implementing TPACK-based learning media.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are one of the important indicators of the success of the educational process, which are influenced by various internal and external factors. In reality, students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education are still varied, indicating the need to examine factors such as study discipline, learning motivation, and peer environment. This study aims to analyze the influence of study discipline, learning motivation, and peer environment on students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education at Darul Ulum Waru Junior High School, Sidoarjo. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of 255 students, with a sample of 162 students selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes, while study discipline does not have a significant effect. In addition, the peer environment also has a positive and significant influence on learning outcomes. These findings suggest that improving students’ learning motivation and fostering a positive peer environment play a crucial role in enhancing learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education.
