Abstract

The negative impact of using Tik Tok social media is that students lose time which should be used for productive activities and instead are used for laziness, causing students to behave consumptively in online shopping due to the influence of creator content in Tik Tok, as for the case that occurred in the 2019 batch of STABN Raden Wijaya students. Factors that influence student lifestyles include addiction to scrolling Tik Tok so that students are lazy and forget about their obligations, increasing online shopping culture, friendship environment, creator content that is watched when promoting goods. This research uses qualitative research methods, with a descriptive approach, data collection techniques are carried outthrough interviews, observation, and documentation. The results obtained in this study are STABN Raden Wijaya Wonogiri Class of 2019 students who often use Tik Tok social media, the content watched on the algorithm of six out of six students has an impact on student behavior and lifestyle. Tik Tok social media has an impact on (clothing) dressing style (finance) consumptive lifestyle and (leisure)wasting a lot of time using social media

Abstract

Professional teachers are those who can carry out classroom action research (PTK) and other research as supporting elements. Various types of research carried out by teachers have the hope that improving learning activities will create better learning. Teachers are not always concerned with learning administration alone, but teachers must also be able to identify problems with their students. Community service activities carried out by lecturers at the Sekolah Tinggi Agama Buddha Negeri Raden Wijaya Wonogiri use material presentations and assistance to Buddhist teachers in Boyolali. Apart from lectures, the service team also provided a questionnaire to measure the level of teacher understanding regarding Classroom Action Research in implementing service activities. The results of the service carried out show that with an increase in understanding of the equipment presented by the service team and the assistance provided, Buddhist teachers can prepare PTK for 90% of the total participants in training activities for preparing for Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan terkait Komunikasi Non Verbal pada Tradisi Nyekar menjelang Perayaan Waisak. Serta mendeskripsikan terkait sejarah dan rangkaian acara pada Tradisi Nyekar. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi komunikasi pada interaksi simbolik. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data dan analisis menggunakan etnografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam sejarah tradisi nyekar menjelang perayaan Waisak sudah berlangsung sejak lama dan masih dilestarikan. Rangkaian acara tradisi nyekar diawali dengan menyiapkan sesajen di rumah masing-masing selanjutnya ke makam untuk membacakan paritta (doa-doa) dan tabur bunga, tradisi nyekar merupakan ungkapan bhakti keluarga kepada leluhur. Komunikasi non verbal tradisi nyekar terdapat pada proses pembacaan paritta dengan bersikap anjali sebagai bentuk penghormatan kepada Tri Ratna (Buddha, Dhamma dan Sangha).
