Abstract

Banyaknya pelaku usaha yang melakukan pemasaran secara konvensional membuat pelaku UMKM sulit untuk berkembang. Hal ini disebabkan karena kualitas internal usaha mikro kecil dan menengah yang masih rendah sehingga harus segera diperbaiki terutama mengenai penguasaan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Perubahan lingkungan usaha secara cepat dan tidak terpridiksi, mendorong pelaku usaha untuk terus berinovasi untuk dapat bertahan. Era Digitalisasi mendorong pelaku UMKM untuk dapat memanfaatkan teknologi agar dapat terus bertahan. UMKM yang berada di Kelurahan Sepanjang Kecamatan Taman Kabupaten Sidoarjo cukup beragam, tetapi masih menggunakan pemasaran secara konvensional sehingga UMKM tidak dapat berkembang. Berdasarkan pada permasalahan tersebut, perlu dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan mengenai pemasaran digital. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini aalah untuk memberikan edukasi kepada pelaku UMKM mengenai pemasaran digital. Metode yang digunakan oleh tim pengabdian yaitu melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelaku UMKM telah mampu mengoperasikan pemaaran digital secara mandiri

Abstract

This service program aims to increase the independence and welfare of bitter melon chip entrepreneurs in Dilem Village, Mojokerto through digitalization marketing. Entrepreneurs in this village face challenges in expanding the market due to limited knowledge about digital technology. The program began with a survey to identify the digital skill levels of entrepreneurs, which showed that most still rely on traditional marketing methods. In response, intensive training was provided, covering the use of social media, e-commerce platforms, as well as digital marketing strategies and content marketing. Based on the results of the survey, the service team conducted training and assistance regarding marketing digitalization. The results of the program show a significant increase in digital skills among entrepreneurs, characterized by the active use of social media and e-commerce in marketing their products. In addition, sales volume is increasing, which has a positive impact on the economic well-being of entrepreneurs. Digitalization marketing is effective in expanding the market and increasing the competitiveness of local products. This program provides a model that can be adapted by other small and medium entrepreneurs to support the independence and economic welfare of bitter melon chip entrepreneurs in Dilem Mojokerto Regency.

Abstract

Purpose – This service program aims to increase the application of digital technology in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector which is increasingly important in the industrial era 4.0 to increase competitiveness and business sustainability. This research aims to analyze the implementation of digital business strategies in MSMEs in Dilem Gondang Village, Mojokerto. Design/methodology/approach – The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and literature study. Findings – The research results show that the majority of MSMEs in Dilem Gondang Village have started using digital technology, such as social media, marketplaces and digital financial applications, to support their marketing and business management. However, there are still challenges such as limited access to technology, low digital literacy, and a lack of competent human resources in managing digital-based businesses. Originality/value – This research recommends increasing digital training and education for MSME players, as well as support from local governments in providing adequate digital infrastructure. With the right digital strategy, MSMEs in Dilem Gondang Village are expected to be able to increase productivity, expand markets and contribute to regional economic growth.

Abstract

Cangkring Village, Krembung, Sidoarjo, is one of the villages that is always affected by floods when the rainy season comes. One method that can be applied to reduce flooding is through biopores. The purpose of making Biopori Holes is to reduce the occurrence of waterlogging in an area and reduce the volume of organic waste that can be used as organic fertilizer. Biopori Infiltration Hole is a water infiltration facility used to overcome flooding by accelerating water absorption into the ground. Increasing the ability of the soil to absorb water can minimize the chance of surface runoff and reduce the potential for flooding. Biopori can also reduce the volume of organic waste that needs to be appropriately managed. Based on the problems in Cangkring Village, the team carried out service through socialization and training in making biopores. The target of this activity is students of grade IV and V SDN II Cangkring, Krembung, Sidoarjo. This activity aims to train students to know how to overcome waterlogging and use organic waste as fertilizer so that students care more about the surrounding environmental conditions.
