Sufism is often considered old-fashioned and not open to change, even though tasawuf also accepts new things so that reforms occur both in etymology and terminology. And the purpose of this study is to describe the essence of Sufism in terminology. The method used is qualitative with literature study techniques, then all relevant data is collected, analyzed, and finally concluded the relevant content. The results of the study show that the essence of Sufism in terms of definition depends on the point of view of each person. The principles used are the Qur'an and Assunnah and include a special dimension to discuss how best to get closer to God so that the Divine appears, Ilahi Anta Maqsudi wa ridhaka mathlubi.

Kesehatan dan tanggung jawab sosial saling terkait, memberikan dampak besar pada kenyamanan hidup individu dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Hadits Bukhari Nomor 5289 sebagai sumber inspiratif mengenai pendidikan kesehatan, dan tanggung jawab sosial dalam konteks menuntut ilmu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hadits ini mengandung makna tentang aspek pendidikan dan tanggung jawab sosial dalam menuntut ilmu. Aspek pendidikan dalam hadits ini diantaranya meliputi: mengajak individu dan masyarakat untuk memiliki kesadaran terhadap kesehatan, mengambil peran aktif dalam menjaga kesehatan pribadi, serta pentingnya berkontribusi pada keamanan kesehatan bersama. Sementara, tanggung jawab sosial dalam menuntut ilmu meliputi pentingnya memiliki pengetahuan tentang kesehatan, menuntut ilmu sebagai kontribusi pada kesejahteraan masyarakat, keterbukaan terhadap informasi, keterampilan pemilihan sumber informasi yang benar, kesadaran individu dan kolektif terhadap kesehatan, serta semangat berbagi pengetahuan dan keahlian.

Guru menjadi salah satu tolok ukur bagus atau tidaknya suatu lembaga pendidikan. Maka tidak mengherankan jika pemerintah dan pimpinan lembaga berusaha untuk meningkatkan kualitas kerja pendidiknya melalui berbagai program. Dan untuk mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan dibutuhkan sebuah teknik yang disebut dengan managemen pengembangan karir guru. Dan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan terkait Manajemen Pengembangan Karir Guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan model pendekatan studi pustaka, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan disimpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan karir guru bisa dilakukan melalui program peningkatan kualifikasi pendidikan, program penyetaraan atau sertifikasi, program pelatihan kompetensi, program supervisi, program pemberdayaan MGMP, program simposium guru, program penelitian, pelatihan kecermatan dalam membaca dan menulis jurnal atau karya ilmiah, ikut berpartisipasi aktif dalam organisasi profesi, dan terus mengikuti berita aktual dari media pemberitaan. Maka dengan mengikuti berbagai pelatihan dan program tadi harapannya karir guru dapat melesat karena memperoleh penugasan, promosi hingga kenaikan pangkat.

Di Indonesia, masih kerap dijumpai sekolah yang masih menerapkan pengelolaan seadanya seolah-olah profesionalisme belum di tempatkan sebagai alasan penting untuk memasuki dunia global karena adanya sekat dalam pendidikan Islam yang membuat ia semakin tertinggal. Maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan terkait profesionalisme pendidikan Islam di era kontemporer menurut hadist dan alqur’an tarbawi. Metode yang digunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis konten dan disimpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme dalam pendidikan Islam adalah keterampilan berlandaskan pendidikan dan nilai-nilai Islam, tercermin dalam panggilan hidup untuk pengabdian dan penguasaan keterampilan profesi, sesuai dengan ajaran dan sumber islam yang mana tercantum dalam hadits Nabi riwayat imam Al-Bukhari No 6015, lalu terdapat dalam Al-Qur’an surat An-Nisa ayat 58, dan surat Al-Isra ayat 36. Implementasinya mencakup pengembangan profesionalisme di tingkat yayasan, pimpinan sekolah, tenaga pengajar, dan tata usaha, baik melalui pengembangan internal maupun eksternal lembaga.

Sufism is frequently perceived as a static and traditional discipline, often viewed as resistant to change and detached from contemporary intellectual developments. However, such assumptions overlook the dynamic nature of tasawuf, which demonstrates a capacity for adaptation and reinterpretation across different historical and socio-cultural contexts. This study aims to examine the essential meaning of Sufism from a terminological perspective, highlighting its conceptual flexibility and enduring relevance in guiding spiritual life. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study method. Data were systematically collected from classical and contemporary sources on Sufism, including theological, philosophical, and ethical discourses. The collected materials were then analyzed through content analysis to identify patterns, variations, and underlying principles in defining Sufism. This method enables a comprehensive understanding of how Sufism has been articulated by various scholars and traditions. The findings reveal that the essence of Sufism cannot be confined to a single, fixed definition. Instead, it is shaped by diverse perspectives, each emphasizing different dimensions such as spiritual purification, ethical refinement, and experiential knowledge of the Divine. Despite these variations, all interpretations consistently root their foundations in the Qur'an and Sunnah. Sufism also encompasses a distinct spiritual orientation that focuses on cultivating an intimate relationship with God, often expressed in the principle “Ilāhī anta maqṣūdī wa riḍāka maṭlūbī” (O God, You are my ultimate goal, and Your pleasure is what I seek). This study contributes to the scholarly discourse by reaffirming the adaptive and contextual nature of Sufism, challenging its stereotypical portrayal as rigid and outdated. It offers a nuanced understanding that positions Sufism as a living tradition capable of engaging with modern spiritual and intellectual challenges.

The background of this research is the unrest that occurs in the Islamic education system where the development of unusual understandings from the general habit or what is termed liberal. Departing from these roots, this research seeks to fully describe liberalism in the body of Islamic education historically, its role, and its impact on education. There must be no spelling, grammatical or expression errors in the language used. Indonesia is a plural country, but most people still do not realize and understand the concept of tolerance which results in harmony. The proof is that there are still conflicts between religions such as in East Java in December 2021, in Brikang Village, Menganti sub-district, Gersik, Central Java on April 10, 2022, even 50% of utterances on social media contain intolerant values. This arises because of the lack of understanding of the Muslim community, especially of the content of the Qur'an about the importance of tolerance. The purpose of this research is to examine how the content of tolerance verses in Al-Azhar and Al-Misbah commentaries, is then contextualized in the life of Indonesian society. This research method uses a qualitative method of thematic literature study. The results of this study indicate that Hamka and Quraisy Shihab in Qs. Al-An'am verse 108, QS. Al-Mumtahanah verse 8-9, QS. Saba's verse 25 states that insulting, reviling, and discriminating against non-Muslims is despicable behavior. Both of them allow associating with non-Muslims with the rules: not to criticize their beliefs, not to discuss the shortcomings of beliefs in front of them directly, associate with polite language, questions that are not offensive, associate if it provides inter-religious benefits, and does not bring madharat. However, it is still with the limitations that can be associated as long as they are not hostile and do not expel from the homeland.

This study aims to describe the description of hermeneutics as a model of scientific research, the development of humanities sciences and as a research method in religious sciences The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach. Then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that hermeneutics emerged a long time ago during the ancient Greek civilization and was more dominant in activities in understanding the scriptures but in its development it could reach the humanities and religious sciences. In addition, it also acts as a bridge to bring together hermeneutical theory with qualitative empirical research and symbols that are difficult for humans to understand in the symptoms of the universe. Therefore, hermeneutics is able to interpret and reveal the meaning of the text by considering the social, cultural, and historical context. And of course this is very useful in revealing divine messages through scriptural texts that still need explanation so that they do not make mistakes in practicing God's teachings.
