Abstract

The problem raised is about solving mathematical story problems using Polya's steps. The material presented is a system of linear equations in three variables (SPLTV). The activity was carried out in the form of a seminar for students of class X SMAS Manda Elu which will be held in April 2025. The stages of implementing this activity are preparation, implementation and evaluation. The preparation stage is preparing SPLTV material which is completed using Polya's steps with the team to be delivered to community service partners. At the seminar implementation stage, the speaker provided material to 28 students with the core material, namely SPLTV story problems which are solved using Polya's steps, namely understanding the problem, making a plan, implementing the plan and making conclusions. Furthermore, the evaluation stage of this activity is carried out by giving practice questions to students and students are also asked for their responses regarding the community service activities that have been carried out.

Abstract

Improving the competence of school principals is very important and needed in education management. This is because school principals have an important role in determining educational development policies. The aim of this training is to improve the leadership competence of school principals to manage quality education within the scope of the Nusa Cendana Education Foundation (Yapnusda). Leadership management was chosen as the training theme because it suits the problems and needs of schools in Yapnusda. Participants are school principals and school treasurers. The training method is case study. Implementation of training activities starts from preparation, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the survey results, it was concluded that the participants were satisfied with the training activities, the training materials were relevant to the needs and problems at school, and this training activity was useful for their duties as school principals. Training activities improve the training participants' knowledge and understanding of leadership management.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and describe the improvement in the ability to write core sentences and transfirmative sentences in class VI students at SDN Batu Belah Timur I, Dasuk sub-district, Sumenep district, Madura. The research method in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method, using observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques to produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. The activity of writing core and transformative sentences tested improving the ability to write core and transformative sentences of class VI students at SDN Batu Belah Timur I. Of the total number of students, 16 were able to understand the material of core sentences and transformative sentences effectively. Even though there were still 1-4 of the 16 students, there were still problems in working on the questions given, compared to the observation time, only a portion of the students were able to make sentences well and correctly, which could be counted on the fingers of one hand.

Abstract

This research aims to describe Oka oral speech of Wewewa community through ethnopedagogical point of view. The research design used is descriptive qualitative. Data were obtained from the oral speech of Oka of Wewewa community as well as used as the object of research. The object of this research is the ethnopedagogical value of Oka oral speech. Primary data sources are Oka oral tradition speech. This primary data source is obtained from the speakers/customary elders who speak the Oka oral tradition. Primary data sources were also obtained and collected by researchers from Wewewa community members based on interviews. While secondary data sources are obtained by researchers from documents directly related to the Oka oral tradition. The instrument of this research is the researcher himself. The data collection method of this research is through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques are data transcription, gloss translation of data, data selection, data identification, data classification, and analyzing and interpreting data so that it can be reported in the data discussion section. Based on the results of the study, the researcher concluded that in Oka's oral tradition speech, ethnopedagogical values that are manifested in Oka's oral tradition speech include respect for ancestors, hard work, repentance of lost children, togetherness, gratitude, and kinship.
