Abstract

Abstract_ One of the needs of modern society today is recreation. It is evidenced by the increasing number of tourists yearly, both foreign and domestic tourists. This increasing trend needs to be responded with an increase in the provision of accommodation to cover the activities of tourists. Therefore, it is necessary to have a place or means to relax the mind or refresh that is comfortable for the community in the form of a resort. South Sulawesi is one of Indonesia's provinces rich in natural and cultural potential. One of them is Sinjai Regency which has various possibilities ranging from marine tourism, historical sites, and other natural beauty that can be a characteristic and attraction for tourists. The object of this design is a resort located in the Tongke-Tongke mangrove forest area. Hence, one of the efforts to minimize environmental damage is to design environmentally friendly buildings. Ecological architecture is an ecologically sound development that utilizes natural potential as much as possible. The ecological architectural approach applied in the area is processing gray water, using local materials, and maximizing the green regions of the site. Abstract

The development of converts in eastern Indonesia, especially in Makassar, is fast but not followed by structured facilities and guidance. The center's design for the development and empowerment of converts to Islam in the city of Makassar needs to be using a modern Islamic architectural approach. Modern Islamic architecture is a collaboration between Islamic architecture and modern architecture. The concept of modern Islamic architecture is an architectural approach that applies Islamic values ​​to the design of buildings with easily recognizable characteristics such as ornaments and simple openings. Qualitative descriptive and design exploration methods are used for designing and applying ornament applications to buildings. The purpose of writing is to apply modern Islamic architectural ornaments on the facade of the building. The design results found that the application for the design according to the function. The converts are more applied to the front in the form of ornaments and windows.

Abstract

Public space is one of the city's quality indices that functions as an interaction space, a container for corridors, and a place for street vendors to sell their wares. This is even though the area around the bridge is a route often passed by the general public. The surrounding community also uses the reservoir for fisheries by utilizing the tidal area around the pool to plant wild plants during the rainy season, and this causes further damage to the banks of the reservoir. This study aims to design the Waiting Bitoa Reservoir Public Space in Makassar City to be an excellent environmental facility with a Green Architecture approach. The importance of green architecture is used to support the natural environment by having several principles, such as utilizing energy, meeting the needs of building users, being environmentally friendly, and adapting to the local climate. A qualitative descriptive method of the existing field data is synthesized into a design form. The results of the application of green architecture are applied to landscapes, open space systems, and natural materials in building units

Abstract

Pare-Pare City or commonly referred to as "Pare-Pare Harbor City" is the second-largest city in South Sulawesi Province which is located on the west coast of Sulawesi Island and has 20 percent of its area is a coastal area. Therefore, the coastal area of Pare-Pare City is an area that can be developed so that it can become a productive and efficient area. To minimize damage and create a projected area into the future, in the effort to develop the waterfront city we apply a sustainable architectural approach to the circulation system and use of materials to create a coastal city area with the efficient circulation that is interconnected in achieving from the city center to the waterfront city and between functions in the area and also the use of sustainable materials.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Masyarakat Indonesia telah mengembangkan budidaya perairan yang melibatkan berbagai jenis rumput laut, seperti Eucheuma cottoni, yang mengalami perkembangan yang signifikan di perairan Indonesia. Kabupaten Wajo merupakan daerah pengelola rumput laut pertama di provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dengan data peningkatan dari tahun ketahun meningkat, pada penelitian ini menggunakan métode studi literatura, studi preseden serta studi lapangan atau observasi. Menanggapi hal tersebut dengan adanya pusat pengelolaan rumput laut dimana lokasinya berpusat pada Kecamatan Pammana dapat memberikan dampak baik dan penyaluran budidaya serta pengolahan berjalan lancar. Upaya perancangan pusat pengelolaan rumput laut dilandasi dari faktor-faktor tata guna lahan, aksebilitas, dekat dengan pusat industri lain, ketersedian fasilitas dan utilitas pengunjung, potensi, persebaran UMKM, pembudidaya rumput laut, dan eksport import. Penerapan konsep arsitektur industrial sebagaimana dalam indikator pencapaian dari segi pengeksposan struktur, penggunaan material alami, penggunaan warna-warna yang monokrom dapat dilakukan dengan pengaplikasian pada bangunan. Kata Kunci: Rumput laut, Pengolahan, Arsitektur Industrial ABSTRACT. Indonesian people have developed aquaculture involving various types of seaweed, such as Eucheuma cottoni, which has experienced significant development in Indonesian waters. Wajo Regency is the first seaweed management area in South Sulawesi province with increasing data from year to year. This research uses literature study methods, precedent studies and field studies or observations. Responding to this, the existence of a seaweed management center located in Pammana District can have a good impact and distribution of cultivation and processing will run smoothly. Efforts to design a seaweed management center are influenced by land use factors, accessibility, proximity to other industrial centers, availability of visitor facilities and utilities, potential, distribution of MSMEs, seaweed cultivators, and export, import. The application of the concept of industrial architecture as in terms of achievement indicators in terms of structural exposure, use of natural materials, use of monochrome colors can be done by applying it to buildings. Keywords: Seaweed, Processing, Industrial Architecture

Abstract

Kabupaten Barru sebagai salah satu Kabupaten di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan yang memiliki kawasan pertanian yang sangat potensial untuk dijadikan sebagai kawasan agrowisata. Kabupaten Barru dikenal sebagai Kota Hibridah sesuai dengan kota agrowisata karena merupakan kota pertanian yang tumbuh dan berkembang karena berjalannya sistem dan usaha agrobisnis serta mampu melayani dan mendorong kegiatan pembangunan pertanian di sekitarnya. Agrowisata merupakan kegiatan wisata alam yang berpedoman pada prinsip memberikan pembelajaran kepada wisatawan mengenai pentingnya suatu pelestarian dengan menekankan serendah-rendahnya dapak negatif terhadap alam. Berdasarkan prinsip agrowisata maka dibutuhkan adanya suatu pemikiran rancangan konsep desain arsitektur yang menekankan pada keberlajutan sumber daya alam. Kawasan Agrowisata ini di rancang menggunakan pendekatan Arsitektur Ekologi, Arsitektur ekologi mencerminkan adanya perhatian terhadap lingkungan alam dan sumber alam yang terbatas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei, pengumpulan data primer dengan cara studi lapangan. Pengumpulan data sekunder dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data studi literatur, jurnal atau karya ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan judul, buku, bahan bacaan yang berkaitan dengan judul, dan literatur lainnya. Data eksplorasi berupa hasil analisis data primer dan data sekunder. Perencanaan Kawasan Agrowisata dengan pendekatan Arsitektur Ekologi diharapkan mampu menyelaraskan antara manusia dan lingkungan alamnya tanpa merusak lingkungan.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini mengangkat isu mendasar yang banyak dihadapi oleh gerakan sosial keagamaan yakni kapasitas pengelolaan dan sumber daya manusia dalam komunitas yang dapat berimplikasi pada peningkatan kualitas gerakan komunitas keagamaan yang signifikan. Pada kegiatan pembangunan pondok tahfidzul Qur’an Al Ikhlas ini juga aspek kapasistas sumber daya manusia menjadi sasaran pengembangan untuk diberikan pendampingan agar mampu menjalankan program pembangunan pondok dengan lebih berkualitas sesuai dengan yang direncanakan. Pembangunan yang berkelanjutan memerlukan sumber daya manusia yang memadai agar pengawasan pembangunan dapat dilakukan secara mandiri oleh pengurus yayasan. Pendampingan ini dilakukan dengan metode CBR melalui strategi peningkatan pengetahuan tentang gambar kerja arsitektur dan perhitungan volume material pekerjaan melalui kegiatan workshop. This community service raises the fundamental issues faced by many socio-religious movements, namely the management capacity and human resources in the community which can have implications for increasing the quality of significant religious community movements. In the construction activities of the Tahfidzul Qur'an Al Ikhlas Islamic boarding school, aspects of human resource capacity are also the target of development to be provided with assistance so that they are able to carry out the cottage development program with higher quality as planned. Sustainable development requires adequate human resources so that development supervision can be carried out independently by the foundation's management. This assistance is carried out using the CBR method through a strategy of increasing knowledge about architectural working drawings and calculating the volume of work materials through workshop activities.

Abstract

The high rate of violence against women in Makassar City has caused various physical and psychological impacts on victims, including trauma, stress, anxiety, and decreased quality of life. Therefore, a facility that can provide protection, empowerment, and psychological recovery for women victims of violence is urgently needed. The purpose of this design is to create a Women’s Development and Empowerment Center in Makassar City using a healing environment approach, providing a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic space that supports users’ psychological recovery. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method through site observation, literature study, space requirement analysis, circulation analysis, and the application of the healing environment concept to site planning, exterior, and interior design. The design concept is implemented through the use of natural elements, green open spaces, healing gardens, natural lighting, natural ventilation, aromatherapy vegetation, and zoning arrangements consisting of public, semi-public, semi-private, and private areas to enhance both physical and psychological comfort for users. The design results show that applying the healing environment concept can create a more therapeutic, human-centered atmosphere that supports the emotional recovery of women victims of violence by integrating nature, comfortable circulation systems, and sensory elements that promote relaxation and reduce users’ stress levels.

Abstract

Motocross circuits are essential sports facilities that foster the skills and creativity of young automotive enthusiasts; however, designs that neglect functionality, safety, and aesthetics often reduce user comfort and experience. This study aims to design a Motocross Circuit in Jeneponto Regency using a high-tech architecture approach to enhance functionality, aesthetics, and technological innovation in the building. The method includes a literature review to gather theories on motocross circuits and high-tech principles, previous studies to evaluate forms, structures, and facilities of similar projects, and field observation to analyze site conditions and accessibility. The design results feature an integrated site plan, Pit Building, and spectator stands utilizing Space Frame structures, metal and glass materials, and an efficient, safe circulation system. The design emphasizes transparency, exposed structural elements, and interactivity, supporting both racing activities and automotive education while creating a futuristic visual experience and strong site identity. This approach enables the circuit to function as a safe, comfortable, and innovative educational and recreational facility for both visitors and participants.
