Abstract

In this modern era, attention to physical health and sports education is increasing, along with global and local health phenomena. Adequate physical activity has been shown to have a positive impact on physical and mental health, especially among children and adolescents. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), about 80% of adolescents worldwide are physically inactive, potentially causing long-term health problems. This study aims to explore effective sports education interventions to increase student participation. Through descriptive and correlational quantitative methods, data were collected from 300 students from various primary and secondary schools. The results showed that 70% of the students actively participated in physical activity, with significant differences between boys and girls. Parental support, accessibility of sports facilities, and social context contribute to student participation. Research by Liu and Zhao (2020) and Smith et al. (2020) supports the importance of structured sports programs and teacher training. In addition, extracurricular activities and technology can increase students' interest in sports. This research underscores the need for a holistic approach to sports education that supports students' physical and mental health, with adequate policy support. These findings are expected to make a significant contribution to the development of sports education policies and practices, as well as create an environment that supports physical activity among the younger generation

Abstract

Aquaculture is an important sector in meeting global food needs and maintaining food security, especially in countries with coastal areas. As the largest archipelagic country, Indonesia has great potential in aquaculture that supports domestic food security and exports. However, the sector faces complex challenges such as climate change and environmental degradation. Sustainable management and integration of local wisdom, such as the "sasi" system, are important solutions in facing this challenge. This study aims to explore the role of local wisdom in supporting sustainable aquaculture through a qualitative approach to case studies. The results of the study show that local wisdom plays an important role in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem and supporting environmental sustainability. The combination of modern technology and traditional practices is an effective strategy to create a resilient and environmentally friendly aquaculture system. This research emphasizes the importance of collaboration between the government and the community in recognizing and strengthening custom-based regulations to achieve a balance between environmental sustainability and economic resilience.

Abstract

Lease agreements are one form of contract that is common in society, both in the fields of property, vehicles, and other movable goods. In practice, many of these agreements are made verbally or without a written deed. This article aims to analyze the legal validity of lease agreements without a written deed based on the Civil Code (KUH Perdata) and examine its legal implications in social practice. Using normative legal methods and sociological approaches, it was found that oral lease agreements remain valid as long as they meet the requirements for a valid agreement as regulated in Article 1320 of the Civil Code. However, the absence of written documents has the potential to cause disputes, especially in proof before the law. Legal awareness and contractual education are needed so that the public better understands the importance of written agreements as legal evidence.

Abstract

Petty theft is a form of crime that often occurs in everyday life and has the potential to cause social unrest. In the context of positive Indonesian law, petty theft is regulated in Article 364 of the Criminal Code which provides limits on the value of goods and forms of criminal sanctions. This article aims to analyze the effectiveness of criminal sanctions in overcoming petty theft and to examine the reality of law enforcement in the field. Through a normative and empirical legal approach, this study found that the application of criminal sanctions for petty theft often faces obstacles to effectiveness, especially in terms of the burden on the court, the condition of the perpetrator, and considerations of the values of justice and benefit. Strengthening alternative case resolutions, such as restorative justice, is needed in an effort to create a more proportional and humane criminal system.

Abstract

Traffic violations by motorcyclists are a serious problem that often occurs in urban areas and contribute to high accident rates and congestion. This article examines the legal aspects of these violations by examining the applicable legal provisions, especially in Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Traffic and Road Transportation (LLAJ Law), and evaluating the effectiveness of its law enforcement. This study uses a normative legal method and is supported by empirical data from the Traffic Police regarding the most common types of violations in big cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya. The results show that although legal sanctions have been regulated, weak law enforcement and low public legal awareness are the main obstacles. A more humanistic and educative approach is needed in the implementation of traffic law enforcement.

Abstract

The education funding crisis has a significant impact on the quality of facilities, curriculum innovation, and student achievement. Budget shortfalls result in the degradation of physical facilities such as damaged classrooms and limited access to technology, which directly reduce student motivation and participation in the learning process. In addition, the funding crisis exacerbates educational inequalities between well-equipped and under-funded schools, widening the socio-economic gap. Lack of funding also hampers the development of innovative curricula, such as STEM-based learning and digital literacy, which are increasingly needed in the era of globalization and the industrial revolution 4.0. Without adequate investment, efforts to modernize the curriculum and improve teacher skills are severely limited, limiting students' readiness to face the challenges of the future world of work. This decline in the quality of education results in lower academic achievement and exacerbates social inequities, where students from low-income backgrounds find it more difficult to improve their social status. Therefore, solutions to the education funding crisis require greater budget allocation, infrastructure renewal, and adaptive curriculum development to reduce social inequality and support sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

The phenomenon of quiet quitting reflects employee disengagement due to an imbalance between organizational demands and the fulfillment of individual psychological needs, especially among the millennial generation. Different from conventional resignations, quiet quitting refers to a passive attitude where employees only work to the minimum without emotional involvement or desire to grow. The millennial generation who demand meaning, autonomy, and life balance tend to do quiet quitting when the organization fails to create an inclusive, supportive, and flexible workspace. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method to examine how human resource management (HR) strategies can respond to this phenomenon adaptively. The results of the study show that conventional managerial approaches that are transactional and hierarchical are no longer relevant. In contrast, strategies based on human-centered management, Agile HR, and personalized employee experience have proven to be more effective in building employee engagement and loyalty. Data-based technology is also an important tool in understanding employee needs and aspirations in real time. Therefore, HR strategy transformation is a must to create a relevant, healthy, and sustainable work culture in the modern work era.

Abstract

Inclusive learning in elementary schools emphasizes accessibility and diversity in education, ensuring that all students can learn without discrimination. Differentiated Instruction (DI) is an important approach in supporting inclusive learning by adjusting teaching methods based on students' needs, interests, and learning styles. However, the implementation of DI still faces various challenges, such as lack of teacher understanding, limited resources, and education policies that do not support curriculum flexibility. This study uses a literature study method to analyze the implementation of DI in inclusive learning in elementary schools. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of DI can improve student motivation and academic outcomes, but requires teacher readiness through ongoing training and more flexible policy support. In addition, the integration of learning technology can help overcome the constraints of differentiation in heterogeneous classes. Therefore, synergy is needed between the government, schools, and the education community in providing resources and regulations that support the success of DI. With the right strategy, DI has the potential to create a more inclusive, adaptive, and effective learning environment in improving the quality of elementary education

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of emotional literacy and mental health integration in the elementary school curriculum, focusing on their impact on children's social, emotional, and academic development. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 10 Makassar using a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, as well as direct observation of the implementation of emotional literacy and mental health. The results indicate that although there have been efforts to introduce emotional literacy, its implementation is still limited to ad-hoc activities and has not been systematically integrated into the curriculum. Mental health integration is also still responsive to emerging problems, rather than structured prevention. Some challenges faced include limited time within the curriculum, lack of training for teachers, and stigma surrounding mental health issues. However, there is significant potential to improve this education system with better training support for teachers and a change in school culture that is more open to mental health issues. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a more holistic curriculum, one that focuses not only on academic achievement but also on students' emotional and psychological well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in 3T (Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost) regions, focusing on the challenges, opportunities, and impacts faced in the context of specific local needs. The Independent Curriculum, introduced in 2021, aims to give educational institutions autonomy in developing curricula tailored to student needs and local contexts. Despite its significant potential for improving the quality of education, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in 3T regions faces various obstacles, including limited infrastructure, limited access to technology, and a shortage of trained teaching staff. This study used qualitative methods with a descriptive analytical approach, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies in two 3T regions: North Lombok Regency and Mahakam Hulu Regency. The results show that although project-based learning and the concept of "learning independence" can be implemented well, successful implementation depends heavily on the provision of adequate resources and ongoing training for teachers. In conclusion, although the Independent Curriculum has significant potential to improve the quality of education in 3T regions, challenges related to resources and teacher readiness must be addressed immediately for this curriculum to be implemented effectively
