Abstract

Background: Primary postpartum hemorrhage that occurs within the first 24 hours is the highest cause of maternal mortality in Indonesia. This study aimed to determine the risk factors associated with the incidence of primary postpartum hemorrhage at Raden Mattaher Regional Hospital Jambi Province in 2019. Methods: This was an analytic survey with observational method using a case control approach. A total of 48 of primary post partum hemorrhage case were included as the case samples using total sampling technique and 48 control samples were recruited using purposive sampling with a ratio of 1: 1. Data collection was done by documentation followed by univariate and bivariate data analysis. Results: The results of the univariate study showed that some of the respondents’ age and parity status were at risk of anemia. Bivariate results showed that age (p-value = 0.002 and OR = 4.109), parity (p-value = 0.000 and OR = 7.400)and anemia (p- value = 0,000 and OR = 14,224) were associated with the incidence of primary postpartum hemorrhage.. Conclusion: Age, parity and anemia was a significant factors acosiated with the incidence of primary postpartum hemorrhage at Raden Mattaher Regional Hospital Jambi Province

Abstract

This research was done aimed at investigating if audio visual as a media more effect for the students skill in writing procedure text. The method of this research is quantitative. The population of the research is the eighth grade students of SMPN 5Kota Jambi. The researcher takes two classes of the eighth grade students as the sample from this research which were divided into two groups; experimental group (XIII A) and control group (XIII B). The XIIIA was taught by using Audio Visual as a media, while the XIII B was taught without Audio Visual as media. The instruments of collecting data are test: pre-test and post-test. To analyze the data, the researcher used experimental design. The mean in control class of pre test is 71,66 and mean post test 75,66. The mean in experimental class of pre test is 74,33 and the mean post test is 84,83. Based on the calculation of the statistical analysis, it is found that the value of t-test was 4,05 is higher than the value of t-table 1,69 at the degree freedom (df 30-1) = 29 and the level of confidence 0,05 with for that reason, the alternative hypothesis is accepted, the researcher could interpret that it was significantly effective to improve students writing procedure text using Audio Visual in SMPN 5 Kota  Jambi.           Keywords: Writing, Procedure text, Audio Visual.

Abstract

Prevalensi stunting mengalami pengingkatan sebesar 5,1% dari tahun 2016 sebesar 25,5% menjadi 30,6% pada tahun 2017. Angka kejadian stunting pada balita di Indonesia masih tinggi berdasarkan hasil riset (RISKESDAS) Republik Indonesia tahun 2018 menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 30,8% balita mengalami stunting. Metode Pengabdian dilakukan dengan penyuluhan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan Tanya jawab serta demonstrasi isi piringku terhadap kelompok sasaran dengan tujuan untuk mencegah terjadinya stunting pada balita, selanjutnya membentuk kelompok ibu siaga stunting di desa penyengat olak. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat meningkatnya pengetahuan kelompok sasaran menjadi pengetahuan baik yaitu kurang baik sebanyak 25 orang (62,5% ) dan pengetahuan baik sebanyak 15 orang, (37,5%) dan setelah diberikan penyuluhan pengetahuan sasaran menjadi meningkat yaitu kategori baik sebanyak 31 orang (77,5%) dan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebanyak 3,18%. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabmas ini adalah Pengetahuan mitra sasaran sebelum diberikan penyuluhan adalah dengan kategori rendah dan  menjadi meningkat setelah diberikan penyuluhan menjadi kategori baik tentang pencegahan stunting di desa penyengat olak Kecamatan Jambi luar kota tahun 2023. Terbentuknya  ibu siaga stunting Pada Keluarga Sebagai Pencegahan Stunting di  Desa Penyengat Olak. Diharapkan kepada ibu hamil, ibu balita dan kader  agar dapat melakukan pencegahan stunting di desa Penyengat Olak.

Abstract

The development of E-LKPD in Grade VII Mathematics Subject of SMPN 5 Linggo Sari Baganti is motivated by a teacher-oriented learning pattern, as well as limitations in the use of digital teaching materials such as E-LKPD. This research aims to produce valid and practical E-LKPD products so that they can be used in the learning process. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used in this study is a 4D model. The 4D model consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The results of the development of E-LKPD were obtained through validity and practicality tests. The product validity test was validated by three validators consisting of one material validator, namely a teacher of Mathematics Class VII SMPN 5 Sari Baganti and two media validators, namely lecturers from the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology, Padang State University. The product practicality test was carried out by conducting an E-LKPD trial for grade VIIB students of SMPN 5 Linggo Sari Baganti. The results of the validity test by a material expert and two media experts obtained an average score of 4.86, 4.86, and 4.8 respectively which was categorized as "very valid". The results of the practicality test obtained an average score of 4.6 with the category "very practical". Thus, it can be concluded that the E-LKPD developed is suitable for use as a teaching material in Mathematics Class VII Junior High School.

Abstract

According to WHO, the average rate of exclusive breastfeeding in the world is only 38%. Based on data from the Ministry of Health of Indonesia in 2023, the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding nationally is only 63.9% and in Jambi Province it is 66%. According to the Jambi City Health Office, in 2022 exclusive breastfeeding was 29.16% and in 2023 it was 68.5%. Based on data from Kebun Kopi Health Center, it was found that as many as 86.7% of babies received exclusive breastfeeding and 3 out of 5 breastfeeding mothers did not give exclusive breastfeeding because of their poor milk production. This study is a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design which aims to see the effect of mung bean consumption on increasing breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers at Kebun Kopi Health Center in 2024. This research was carried out at Kebun Kopi Health Center in 2024 and has been carried out in January-September 2024. The population in this study is breastfeeding mothers with a sample of 30 people using the total sampling technique. The data were analyzed univariate and bivariate using the wilcoxon test because the data were not normally distributed. The results of this study show that the average breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers at Kebun Kopi Health Center in 2024 before mung bean consumption is 33.50 ml. The average milk production in breastfeeding mothers after consuming mung beans for 7 days was 62.33 ml, and there was an effect of mung bean consumption on the increase in breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers at Kebun Kopi health center with a p-value of 0.000. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of mung bean consumption on increasing breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers at Kebun Kopi health center

Abstract

This research discusses the importance of taking into account the interests of children in the context of divorce from the perspective of Islamic family law. In divorce, children are often the vulnerable parties and are often direct witnesses to their parents' conflict, which can adversely affect their well-being physically, emotionally and psychologically. Although Islamic family law provides clear guidelines on children's rights, its implementation in practice is often complex and influenced by cultural, social and economic factors. This article explores how children's interests can be preserved and prioritized in the resolution of divorce conflicts according to Islamic family law, as well as the challenges and obstacles faced in implementing these principles. The research methods used include literature review, case studies, interviews and document analysis. The results of this research are expected to provide a more comprehensive understanding of how children's interests are championed in divorce from an Islamic family law perspective, as well as provide a stronger foundation for the development of legal policies and practices that favor the protection and welfare of children.To fulfill the objectives of this research, a qualitative method was used involving in-depth analysis of Islamic legal literature, case studies, interviews, and document analysis. The results of this research include an in-depth understanding of children's interests, analysis of legal practices, identification of challenges and barriers, recommendations for policy and practical action, contribution to academic literature, raising public awareness, developing a model approach based on child welfare, and influence on public policy. In conclusion, this research makes a significant contribution to understanding and protecting children's interests in divorce from an Islamic family law perspective, and provides direction for policies and practices that are more responsive to the protection and welfare of children.

Abstract

      Pendidikan jasmani adalah bagian penting dari pendidikan menyeluruh yang berkontribusi pada perkembangan individu melalui partisipasi dalam aktivitas fisik dan gerakan alami manusia. Ini merupakan suatau rangkaian yang direncanakan dan disusun dengan pengalaman belajar untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perkembangan dan pertumbuhan, serta perilaku masing-masing anak. Dimulai sejak usia dini, pendidikan disik bertujuan untuk merangsang perkembangan organik, motorik, intelektual, dan emosional. Tahap awal kehidupan anak merupakan periode penting untuk mempersiapkan mereka menghdapi masa depan di mana mereka memerlukan rangsangan, pengamatan, dan pengetahuan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan hidup mereka. Namun, banyak orang tua yang tidak mampu memaksimalkan potensi anak-anak mereka; seringkali mereka hanya memenuhi kebutuhan fisik dan memberikan asupan nutrisi yang diperlukan, tetapi kurang memberikan rangsangan dalam hal aktivitas fisik.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in science learning in elementary schools. AR is proven to be effective in helping students understand science concepts that are difficult to explain through conventional methods, such as the solar system and photosynthesis, by providing interactive three-dimensional visualizations. It can also increase student motivation and engagement, making learning more interesting and fun. In addition, AR supports the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills through simulated virtual experiments. Despite its great potential, AR implementation faces challenges related to the cost of devices, infrastructure and teacher training. To overcome this, support from various parties is needed, including the government, private sector, and educational institutions. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with interviews, group discussions, observations, and document analysis in three elementary schools. The results are expected to provide insights into the benefits of AR in improving concept understanding, critical thinking skills, as well as identification of challenges and optimal strategies in its implementation. Hopefully, the findings can provide recommendations for educators and policy makers in effectively integrating AR in the science learning curriculum in elementary schools

Abstract

Traditional games have an important role in developing social skills of elementary school students through interactive and fun learning. In the context of modern education influenced by the development of digital technology, traditional games offer a solution to overcome the decline in children's social interaction. This research explores the application of traditional games as learning media to improve students' communication, cooperation and empathy skills. Through observations, interviews and document analysis, it was found that games such as congklak, engklek and galah asin not only teach moral values such as honesty and responsibility, but also introduce students to the rich local culture. Despite challenges such as limited facilities and teachers' lack of understanding, creative solutions such as training and technology integration can support the implementation of these methods. The results show that traditional games help students build self-confidence, think critically and strengthen social relationships. In addition to being an educational tool, these games are also a means of cultural preservation that is relevant in the midst of globalization. Collaboration between teachers, parents and communities is needed to ensure the sustainability of traditional games in education. With the right approach, traditional games can be an innovative learning alternative that supports students' holistic development.
