Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba menjelaskan dilema tokoh protagonis dalam buku Rasina karya Iksaka Banu. Kajian ini dapat menambah kekayaan ilmu pengetahuan, khususnya di bidang konflik, psikologi sastra, dan analisis novel. Hal ini juga dapat menjadi sumber bagi para pendidik dan peserta didik untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka tentang bahasa dan sastra Indonesia, khususnya di bidang studi sastra. Terakhir, dapat dijadikan pedoman oleh peneliti lain yang melakukan penelitian sastra terkait. Penelitian perpustakaan adalah bagian dari penelitian ini. Novel Rasina karya Iksaka Banu setebal 620 halaman yang dirilis Gramedia tahun 2023 menjadi sumber data penelitian. Membaca, mencatat, dan pustakaan merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data. Metode psikologi sastra digunakan untuk menguji data penelitian. berdasarkan hasil pemilihan antara dua kemungkinan. investigasi novel Rasina karya Iksaka Banu dan temuan bahwa ada dua jenis konflik: internal dan eksternal. Jika konflik eksternal mengacu pada pertarungan fisik, konflik internal mengacu pada konflik di dalam. Ketegangan yang melibatkan bagian tubuh seperti tamparan, dorongan, dan pemotongan antara tokoh utama dengan tokoh lain disebut dengan konflik fisik. Konflik internal, di sisi lain, mengacu pada pergulatan psikologis yang terjadi dalam karakter utama, termasuk rasa was-was.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of comparative language styles in the short story collection Sagra by Oka Rusmini. The type of research used in this study is library research. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis. The data in this study is the short story collection Sagra by Oka Rusmini published by PT Gramedia Widiasarana Indonesia in Jakarta, consisting of 204 pages and 13 short story titles. The three selected short stories are (1) Esensi Nobelia, (2) Sepotong Kaki, (3) Sagra. The data collection technique uses the reading and note-taking technique. The data analysis technique used is the objective approach. The results of this study indicate that (1) the short story Esensi Nobelia contains 4 types of comparative language styles, namely simile, metaphor, personification, and anticipation (2) the short story Sepotong Kaki contains 3 types of measurement language styles, namely simile, metaphor, and personification (3) the short story Sagra contains 4 types of comparative language styles, namely simile, metaphor, personification, and pleonasm.

Abstract

The primary focus of this research is to analyze the ability of grade VII MTs Negeri 4 Buton in writing procedural texts. The objective of this study is to describe the writing skills of procedural texts among VII grade students of MTs Negeri 4 Buton. This research is categorized as field research using a quantitative descriptive method. The population of this study consists of all VII grade students at MTs Negeri 4 Buton, totaling 52 students, who were also used as the sample. The instrument used to collect data was a written test that measured students' ability to write procedural texts. Based on the research results and data analysis, it was found that out of 52 VII grade students at MTs Negeri 4 Buton, 36 students (69.23%) were categorized as able to write procedural texts individually, while 16 students (30.76%) were categorized as unable. Classically, the writing ability of procedural texts among VII grade students at MTs Negeri 4 Buton is categorized as unable. This is because the ability of individual students who meet the criteria for achieving learning objectives (KKTP) of 70% is only 62.23%. This does not meet the classical mastery criteria of 85%. This can be seen in the students' scores in the research. The ability to write procedural texts, which includes aspects such as the title of the procedural text (82.69%), the relevance of the content of the procedural text (94.23%), the structure of the procedural text (71.15%), the linguistic features of the procedural text (26.92%), and the mechanics of spelling the procedural text (19.23%), shows that out of the six aspects assessed, one aspect is categorized as capable, namely the relevance of the content, while the other four aspects are categorized as less capable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the linking language style contained in the novel Home Sweet Loan by Almira Bastari. This type of research is library research and the method used in this study is a descriptive method that aims to describe the results of the study in detail and in depth. The data used in this study is a novel text, which contains a number of linking language styles in the novel Home Sweet Loan by Almira Bastari. The data collection method is the literature review and study method. The data collection technique is the reading and note-taking technique. The data analysis technique used is the content analysis technique which is used to determine the existence of certain words, themes, or concepts in certain qualitative data (namely text). The research data shows that there is a linking language style. The linking style of language includes (1) metonymy, (2) antanaklasis, (3) symbolic, (4) synecdoche, (5) allusion, (6) euphemism, (7) dysphemism, (8) eponym, (9) antonomasia, (10) epithet, (11) erotesis, (12) parallelism, (13) ellipsis, (14) gradation, (15) asyndeton, (16) polysyndeton, (17) rhetorical, (18) interruption, (19) enumeration, (20) resentia, (21) ananculoton, (22) meiosis, (23) symmetrical. The linking style of language in the novel Home Sweet Loan can support the facts of the story and make it more interesting, followable, and memorable.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe what education value are contained in Mellyana Dhian’s novel Pangeran Hati. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study are  wiritten data in the from text containing educational values in the novel Pangeran Hati by Mellyana Dhian. Research result – Based on the research results it can be concluded that the value of education in the novel Pangeraan Hati by Mellyana Dhian includes the value of religious educationincludes praying, having good prejudice, advising in goodness, worship, giving thanks. then the value of moral education includes good morals dan bad morals. Good morals include helping, respecting older people, maintaning honor, forgiving, and being humble. while bad morals include selfish, oppresive, and lying. Then the social value of mutual respect by maintanning dood manners and living in harmony between religious communities. Then the value of cultural education includes customs and traditional songs. The valueeducation in movel Pangeran Hati by Mellyana Dhian is very important for students to emulate in their daily lives. The value of education is views that are able to shape a person’s character for the better. The novel Pangeran Hati by Mellyana Dhian contains educational values consisting of religious education values, morl education value, social education value, and culture education value which are very beneficial for readers, both students and society in general.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan diskriminasi sosial yang terdapatdalam Novel Hello karya Tere Liye. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dan metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode penelitian kualitatif bertujuan untuk menjelaskan suatu fenomena denganmendalam dan dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan datasedalam-dalamnya hingga memperoleh gambaran utuh tentang diskriminasi sosial dalam novel Hello karya Tere Liye. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data tertulis berupa teks (kalimat, kata, frasa, dan diksi) yang terdapat pada novel yang memuat diskriminasi sosial dalam novel Hello karya Tere Liye. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik baca cermat dan catat karena datanya berupa teks. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pembahasan heuristik dan hermeneutik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap novel Hello karya Tere Liye, diskriminasi sosial dalam novel ini muncul dalam dua bentuk utama, yaitu diskriminasi langsung dan tidak langsung, yang berdampak pada hubungan antar tokoh serta perkembangan karakter mereka. Diskriminasi langsung yang ditunjukkan melalui penolakan eksplisit terhadap tigor karena status sosialnya sebagai anak pembantu. Raden Wijaya yang secara terang-terangan melarang Tigor untuk menjalin hubungan dengan Hesty, meskipun Tigor telah sukses dalam pendidikannya dan diskriminasi ini juga terlihat dalam cara masyarakat memandang seseorang berdasarkan latar belakang. Diskriminasi tidak langsung ditunjukkan melalui stereotip dan ekspektasi sosial bahwa seseorang dari kelas bawah tidak pantas untuk bersanding dengan orang dari kelas atas, yang di mana dalam novel ini norma Sosial dalam keluarga Hesty dan masyarakat sekitar menunjukkan bahwa ada batasan tak kasat mata yang membedakan kelas sosial tertentu.
