Abstract

ABSTRAK : Tahun 2014 adalah tahun politik. Indonesia akan memilih anggota parlemen dan presiden.Menjelang pemilu 2014, para elit politik mulai sibuk menyiapkan kampanye di berbagai media. Gegapgempitanya dunia maya diikuti dengan mudahnya akses internet, memberi ruang bagi elit politik untukmemanfaatkannya guna menyampaikan pesan-pesan politik yang akan memberi keuntungan pada mereka.Pemilu 2014 akan diramaikan dengan pemilih pemula berusia 17-20 tahun, kebanyakan pelajar, mahasiswadan pekerja muda, jumlahnya sekitar 30 juta orang. Pemilih pemula dikonotasikan dengan pemilihminim pengalaman, labil dan miskin pengetahuan politik sehingga tidak punya acuan pasti dalam menentukanpilihan politik. Disinilah pentingnya mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan media sosial, misalnya melaluipolitical tracking yaitu mengekspos rekam jejak para calon anggota legislatif dan calon presiden sertawakil presiden, kemudian perlu juga memunculkan political literacy seperti informasi atau bacaan politik.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka (library research) dan menggunakan analisiskualitatif.Pemilih pemula yang merupakan generasi muda, akrab dengan media sosial, mereka dapat diajak menjadipenyosialisasi pemilu dan dapat memilah dan memilih siapa yang layak dan tidak layak menjadi wakilrakyat dan pemimpin Indonesia. Dengan demikian generasi muda dapat menjadi subjek bukan sekedarobjek pemilu 2014.Kata kunci: Media sosial, pemilih pemula, pemilu 2014

Abstract

The arrest of Minister Edhy Prabowo occurred in the early hours of Wednesday 25 November 2020 at Soekarno-Hatta Airport by the KPK. This attracted the attention of online media including the Trans7 Afternoon Editorial Board. The research problem studied is how Trans7 constructs the reality of Edhy Prabowo's arrest at Soekarno-Hatta Airport and the frames that appear in its reporting. Knowing the construction of Trans7 is important because it is a powerful media that has editorial autonomy. The research uses qualitative methods through Pan & Kosicky's framing analysis model. The results show that Trans7 sees Edhy Prabowo as an OTT suspect by the KPK. The news structure studied is the framing element; schematic, script, thematic and rhetorical. Schematic; Trans7 linked the suspect to the alleged bribery case with foreign parties (San Francisco). The main source of the news is the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). The background information that emerged was an alleged bribery case that occurred overseas (San Francisco). Script; Trans7 positions the information covered as complementary and completely conveyed. Thematic; Trans7 believes that the suspect is connected to a local network, Edhy is suspected of being involved. Rhetorically; Trans7 provides apposition and text emphasis on graphic elements.

Abstract

Social media has evolved into a crucial nexus for political promotion and communication during the 2024 General Election in Indonesia. This scholarly investigation undertakes an analysis of the digital marketing communication strategies employed by Prabowo Subianto and the Gerindra Party through the TikTok platform. The central focus lies on elucidating the strategic utilization of digital content to cultivate a specific political image and enhance audience engagement, particularly among younger demographics. Employing a descriptive qualitative research methodology, this study incorporates content analysis, observational techniques, and a review of pertinent academic literature. The findings reveal that the Gerindra Party strategically leverages the affordances of TikTok, such as short-form video, prevalent musical trends, and emergent platform trends, to disseminate political messaging in a simplified yet appealing manner. The deployment of creative and dynamic digital content demonstrates efficacy in fostering a positive candidate and party image, concurrently amplifying interaction with younger segments of the electorate. Nevertheless, this research also identifies salient challenges, notably the potential for the propagation of disinformation and the imperative for maintaining rhetorical consistency across digital communications. The scholarly implications of this study contribute valuable insights into the efficacy of the TikTok platform within the realm of modern political communication and underscore the exigency for the strategic adaptation of digital marketing paradigms within the electoral context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pemaknaan dan penerimaan masyarakat Purwokerto terhadap program siaran kearifan lokal di Banyumas Televisi (BTV). Sebagai media lokal, BTV berperan mengkomunikasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal daerah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengukur kekuatan konten kearifan lokal dalam program BTV serta memahami respons khalayak. Metode kualitatif digunakan dengan pengumpulan data melalui FGD, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teori analisis resepsi Stuart Hall, mencakup tiga posisi pembacaan: dominant-hegemonic, negotiated, dan oppositional reading. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variasi pemaknaan khalayak terhadap program BTV. Meskipun terdapat perbedaan interpretasi, seluruh informan (12 orang) cenderung berada pada posisi negotiated reading. Mereka menerima konten kearifan lokal yang disajikan, tetapi dengan penyesuaian berdasarkan minat dan pengalaman pribadi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa program BTV berhasil mengangkat identitas lokal, namun pemahaman khalayak dipengaruhi oleh konteks sosial individu. Implikasinya, televisi lokal perlu memperkuat strategi produksi konten yang relevan dengan kebutuhan heterogen masyarakat.

Abstract

                The directing leadership style is defined as a leadership approach where the leader provides clear, specific instructions and assumes a dominant role in decision-making, with minimal input from subordinates. This study seeks to examine the impact of the directing leadership style on employee job satisfaction at Bank Mandiri Taspen. The research adopts a quantitative methodology, with data collected through questionnaires administered to the entire population of employees at Bank Mandiri Taspen, comprising 19 respondents. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression and ANOVA, with statistical processing conducted via SPSS software. The results reveal that the ANOVA test produced a significance value of 0.04 (p < 0.05), indicating that the directing leadership style has a statistically significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The analysis further shows that the directing leadership style accounts for 48.4% of the variance in employee job satisfaction. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the directing leadership style exerts a significant and measurable influence on employee job satisfaction at Bank Mandiri Taspen. These results underscore the importance of leadership style in shaping key organizational outcomes, particularly in the context of employee satisfaction.
