Abstract

This activity aims to introduce beginner voters at SMA Negeri 3 Takalar to the importance of participating in the 2024 Presidential Election. The socialisation material included an explanation of the Indonesian political system, the importance of participating in elections, and the impact of political decisions. Resource persons were invited to provide students with an in-depth understanding of these political issues. The socialisation was conducted in an interactive manner, including question and answer sessions and discussions, to increase participants' understanding and engagement. The impact of this activity includes increased understanding and awareness of participants, especially SMA Negeri 3 Takalar students, about the importance of their voting rights in a democracy. In addition, this activity also succeeded in encouraging students' active participation in the political process by motivating them to take part in the 2024 Presidential Election and realising the influence of their votes on the political direction and policies of the country. Although there were some obstacles such as time and resource constraints, as well as the lack of motivation of participants in certain cases, careful planning efforts succeeded in overcoming these obstacles. Good cooperation between the service team and the school (SMA Negeri 3 Takalar) is the key to the success of this activity. Therefore, this service makes a positive contribution in preparing the younger generation to play an active role in the world of Indonesian politics and democracy. It is hoped that increasing political understanding among students will bring positive benefits in forming a smart, critical and responsible society.

Abstract

Pancasila is the philosophical foundation and ideological identity of the Indonesian nation that originated from the historical, cultural, religious, and social values of Indonesian society. This study aims to analyze the historical development of Pancasila, including the values that existed before Indonesian independence, the process of its formulation and ratification as the foundation of the state, and its development from the Old Order period to the Reform era. This research employed a qualitative method using a library research approach. Data were collected through documentation studies from books, scientific journals, official documents, and other relevant academic sources discussing the history and development of Pancasila. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis to provide a systematic understanding of the role and implementation of Pancasila throughout Indonesian history. The results of the study indicate that the values of Pancasila had existed long before independence through traditions such as mutual cooperation, deliberation, tolerance, and social justice within Indonesian society. The formulation of Pancasila was carried out through discussions, debates, and compromises among Indonesian national leaders before being officially established as the ideological foundation of the state. Furthermore, the implementation of Pancasila has experienced various political and social dynamics across different governmental periods. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive discussion of the historical development, political transformation, and contemporary challenges of Pancasila in the era of globalization and digital transformation.

Abstract

Keterampilan penyusunan kontrak bisnis merupakan kompetensi esensial bagi mahasiswa hukum bisnis, namun dalam praktiknya masih ditemukan kesenjangan antara pemahaman teoritis dan kemampuan aplikatif pada mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam merancang kontrak bisnis melalui pendekatan berbasis kasus. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan interaktif, studi kasus faktual, diskusi kelompok, serta praktik langsung (legal drafting) dengan pendampingan fasilitator. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman struktur kontrak, kemampuan merumuskan klausul yang jelas dan komprehensif, serta kecakapan dalam mengidentifikasi potensi risiko hukum dalam suatu perjanjian bisnis. Selain itu, mahasiswa mampu menyusun draft kontrak bisnis sederhana secara mandiri dan lebih percaya diri dalam menerapkan prinsip-prinsip hukum perjanjian dalam konteks praktis. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak nyata berupa peningkatan literasi hukum kontrak serta respon positif terhadap metode pelatihan berbasis kasus karena dinilai relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini efektif dalam menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori dan praktik dalam pembelajaran perancangan kontrak bisnis.

Abstract

This study identifies challenges, opportunities, and solutions in human resource management in education in the digital age. We used a literature review approach to analyze literature related to the application of technology in HRM and its impact on the efficiency and transparency of teacher performance management. The results reveal that the main challenges include limitations in technological infrastructure, low digital skills among educators, gaps in technology access in remote areas, and education policies that do not fully support digitalisation. However, digitalisation offers opportunities such as increased efficiency in performance evaluation, easier access to technology-based training, and the use of data for more accurate decision-making. This study also proposes solutions to overcome these challenges, such as increasing investment in technological infrastructure, developing digital-based training, and formulating more in-depth education policies. We anticipate that the findings of this study will contribute to more effective education policies and enhance the quality of human resource management in educational institutions in the digital era.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membangun budaya hukum egalitarian di Desa Cikoang, Kabupaten Takalar, melalui pendekatan sosiologi hukum terhadap fenomena sosial “status Sayyed”. Status Sayyed di masyarakat Cikoang merupakan simbol keturunan Nabi Muhammad SAW yang selama berabad-abad menempati posisi sosial khusus. Namun, dalam konteks hukum modern dan nilai keadilan sosial, status tersebut menimbulkan sekat sosial dan diskriminasi kultural. Melalui penyuluhan hukum partisipatif, diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD), dan pendekatan sosio-kultural, tim pelaksana memberikan pemahaman mengenai prinsip kesetaraan di hadapan hukum dan nilai kemanusiaan universal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya persamaan hak serta penerimaan kolektif terhadap penghapusan status sosial berbasis garis keturunan. Kegiatan ini menjadi model transformasi budaya hukum masyarakat berbasis nilai keadilan dan kebangsaan.

Abstract

This research seeks to examine the application of the restorative justice ideology in customary law in Indonesia and the obstacles it encounters in merging with the national legal framework. Restorative justice within Indonesian customary law emphasizes mending relationships among offenders, victims, and the community via community-oriented methods like customary discussions and social ceremonies. The study employs a legal-formative method to analyze pertinent legal rules and customary law practices that endorse the restorative justice model. The results suggest that applying restorative justice in traditional communities could speed up conflict resolution and lessen the pressure on formal legal systems. Nevertheless, the research also uncovers challenges, including the variance of regulations among various customary communities and scarce formal acknowledgment in the national legal framework. Through enhanced regulations and clearer guidelines, restorative justice is anticipated to be implemented more uniformly and aligned with human rights standards, thus fostering a justice system that prioritizes social restoration and inclusivity.

Abstract

The BPJS Kesehatan Contribution Assistance Recipient Program (PBI) is a form of the government's commitment to ensuring access to health services for the underprivileged and low-income communities. As part of the National Health Insurance (JKN) system, participants receiving assistance are entitled to receive free health services at facilities in collaboration with BPJS. However, in the midst of efforts to equalize services, complaints were still found related to service quality, such as irregular queues, limited medicines, and discriminatory treatment. This study aims to evaluate the level of satisfaction of recipients of assistance with the quality of health services in the city of Makassar, focusing on aspects of the friendliness of health workers, the use of BPJS cards, the efficiency of the service process, and the accessibility of health facilities. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical methods and analysis of the dimensions of service quality, the results showed that most participants were satisfied with the services received, especially in terms of equal treatment and smooth administrative processes. These findings indicate that digitalization and bureaucratic reform are starting to have a positive impact, although equitable distribution of service quality across regions is still a challenge. This research is expected to make an academic contribution to the development of public service evaluation studies as well as practical recommendations for BPJS kesehatan and local governments in improving the quality of inclusive and equitable health services
