Abstract

Education is the main thing in education, this article reviews the impact of the education model at MA Raudlatul Musthofa, which implements class management with gender separation. This excellent program aims to improve students' spiritual, moral, and academic dimensions. The study observed that by segregating students based on gender and integrating the values of Islamic manners, the school seeks to create a holistic learning environment. This research explores the implementation of this educational model with a focus on the impact on students' behavior, learning spirit, and character. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, involving participatory observation and interviews with relevant stakeholders. The results show that the program is successful in improving discipline, flexibility in learning. Gender separation affects especially students' communication patterns with the opposite sex, but the approach brings a great positive impact to the family and the world of education.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan displin ilmu khususnya dalam melakukan penelitian pada tingkat Universitas. Era modern ini, bahan tepat guna seperti Bioetanol sangat diperlukan sebagai bahan bakar ramah lingkungan yang dapat dibuat dengan proses fermantasi dan destilasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan bioethanol dengan bahan dasar singkong dan jagung pada mahasiswa PVTO Universitas Bhinneka PGRI. Proses pelaksanaan Pelatihan dilakukan secara intensif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kemampuan dalam melakukan sebuah uji coba bioethanol sehingga hasil yang didapat bisa bermanfaat untuk bahan bakar. Proses pelatihan dan pendampingan dilakukan melalui 4 tahapan, yaitu persiapan, proses pendampingan dan pelatihan fermantasi bahan, hingga proses pendampingan destilasi dan uji coba. Hasil keterlaksaan pelatihan dan pendampingan ini sangat diperlukan dan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut dapat melatihkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam proses pembuatan bioethanol. Dalam pelatihan ini mahasiswa melakukan umpan balik yang baik, sehingga tidak hanya meningkatkan ketemapilan mahasiswa tapi juga memberikan pengalaman dalam membuat suatu produk bahan bakar yang bermanfaat.

Abstract

21st century education aims to improve students' scientific literacy skills. Scientific literacy is important for students so that they not only understand science as a concept but can also apply science in everyday life. This research aims to determine the effect of the SSI-oriented Learning Cycle 5E model on epistemic knowledge. The results of the research showed that experimental class II students obtained an average score for working on questions of 6.97, then the average score for experimental class I was 5.92 and the average score in the control class was 4.19. Thus, it shows that the SSI-oriented Learning Cycle 5E model has a better impact on learning compared to the two models used, namely Learning Cycle-5E and the direct learning method.

Abstract

The development of science and technology has an influence on various aspects of human life, such as competition in the social, industrial fields and the development of social life globally. The solution offered to face the development of science is to increase scientific literacy skills which are expected to be able to become the golden generation in modern society. Scientific literacy is important to explicitly integrate the aspects needed to develop science learning in schools. The target of this research is teachers at SDN 1 Pakisaji, Tulungagung, which was carried out on February 23 2024. The aim of this research is to provide training and assistance in making PISA questions oriented towards SSI questions so that they can improve the quality of teachers in scientific literacy. This research provides benefits for teachers in being able to broaden their horizons in presenting questions to students so that later with the SSI-oriented PISA questions, they can also help students in analyzing various kinds of questions and improve their analytical skills on questions.

Abstract

Praktikum pada umumnya dirancang secara khusus agar mahasiswa dapat melakukan eksperimen, kemampuan memecahkan masalah dengan pendekatan ilmiah. Tujuan dalam Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan panduan praktikum pada mata kuliah larutan yang berorientasi pada literasi sains mahasiswa pendidikan IPA Universitas Bhinneka PGRI dan melihat kelayakan dan kepraktisan dari pengembangan panduan praktikum tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang diawali dengan studi pendahuluan dan sampai tahap uji terbatas untuk melihat kepraktisan sehingga menghasilkan produk panduan praktikum yang berorientasi pada kemampuan literasi sains. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan uji validitas materi dan media untuk melihat kelayakannya, serta angket yang diberikan pada mahasiswa untuk melihat kepraktisan panduan praktikum. Didapatkan hasil uji validitas materi dengan presentase 91 persen yang menyakan sangat layak, validitas media menunjukkan presentase 88 persen dan menyakan sangat layak, serta uji kepraktisan media menjukkan presentase 82,67 persen yang merupakan kriteria sangat layak. Secara keseluruhan hasil pengembangan panduan praktikum ini dinyatakan sangat layak untuk tahap awal pengembangan panduan.

Abstract

The results of the initial analysis showed that 68% of students had difficulty in identifying the application of vibration and wave concepts, even though this understanding is very important in elementary school level learning. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of teaching materials and the ability to understand the concepts of undergraduate PGSD students at Bhinneka PGRI University related to vibration and wave material designed with a scientific approach using Etnoid assistance. This research uses the 4D method developed by Thiagarajan, which consists of four main stages: (1) Defining, (2) Designing, (3) Development, and (4) Deployment. The research subjects included students of the Bhinneka PGRI University Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, with instruments in the form of validation questionnaires by material and media experts, as well as student perception questionnaires of the modules produced. The results showed that the Etnoid-based learning module has a validity level of 92.95% which is included in the very valid category, practicality of 95% with a very practical category, and effectiveness of 0.87 which is included in the very effective category. Based on the results of the analysis, the developed Etnoid-based module was declared very feasible to use and able to improve students' science process skills.

Abstract

21st century education requires educators to develop innovative and relevant learning media. This service aims to increase science study program students' understanding of the concept of solutions through training and mentoring in the use of non-digital media by independent teaching practitioners. The community service methods used include presentation of material, assistance in creating non-digital learning media, presentations and reviewing media that has been created. This service involves lecturers, teaching practitioners and 3rd semester students who teach solution courses. The results of the service show that the use of non-digital media significantly increases student involvement and understanding of the solution material. Apart from that, this training also improves lecturers' pedagogical skills in integrating non-digital media into learning. This dedication implies the importance of developing creative and interactive learning media to improve the quality of science education in the digital era.

Abstract

Kegiatan Gerakan Sains Hijau merupakan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk mengenalkan konsep dan prinsip green chemistry kepada guru dan siswa, memberikan pengalaman belajar yang aktif, mendorong tumbuhnya literasi sains dan kesadaran lingkungan sejak usia dini.Yang melatarbelakangi kegiatan ini adalah masih terbatasnya pelaksanaan praktikum IPA di sekolah dasar akibat minimnya sarana laboratorium dan kurangnya pelatihan bagi guru untuk menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif-kolaboratif, dengan tahap kegiatan mulai dari identifikasi dan observasi awal di sekolah mitra, pelatihan dan edukasi konsep green chemistry untuk guru,implementasi praktikum sederhana dan refleksi hasil kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa Gerakan Sains Hijau memberikan dampak dalam menumbuhkan budaya ilmiah yang kontekstual, kreatif, dan ramah lingkungan di sekolah dasar.  Siswa menyatakan pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami. Selain itu, kegiatan ini menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pembiasaan ilmiah dan refleksi bersama. Secara keseluruhan,  Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model pengabdian masyarakat yang berkelanjutan dan dapat direplikasi di berbagai sekolah untuk memperkuat pendidikan sains berbasis lingkungan di Indonesia.
