Abstract

Flat-Pack furniture and interlocking systems are two terms that have very close links in today's modern furniture manufacturing industry. Where the combination of these two elements can provide many solutions in the creation of a versatile furniture product which is the focus of attention at this time. The self-sustained interlocking system as one of the elements in making flat-pack furniture has an essential function and significant influence in making a flat-pack furniture product that is not only multifunctional and ergonomic but also has a major role in producing environmentally friendly products. Since the invention of CNC router machine and laser cutting technology and the development of digital engineering software, this self-sustained interlocking system is known to be complex has developed very rapidly, and has produced many reconfigurable, multi-functional flat-pack furniture products with environmentally friendly characteristics at production costs makes sense.The research aims to review modern types of interlocking joints and try to explore and explore and find new approaches in making interlocking systems that are appropriate for Reconfigurable Flat Pack Furniture applications.

Abstract

screen printing is a printing technique that is quite developed in society. Learning is all efforts made by educators so that the learning process occurs in students. A study of current conditions will see how the application of screen printing techniques as a learning medium is an important thing to apply to high school students. Students will have an entrepreneurial spirit that is supported by knowledge about design, so they will produce the expected design work products. With the knowledge that is already in place every day applied to students, children's creativity will still be sufficient to develop in the phase of creating something in design. Presentation of material (classical), group discussion and simulation activities, screen printing techniques and experimental methods. The results of observations using applied methods can produce tote bag products for high school students and students. Through the screen printing technique, this method is an output, especially printed results which involve the finished product of a tote bag, a pouch bag. This technique allows images or designs to be printed with high precision and optimal clarity.

Abstract

Desain diketahui sebagai proses umtuk mewujudkan pemikiran manusia menjadi nyata. Dan desain produk merupakan keilmuan desain yang bertujuan untuk mewujudkan imajinasi manusia sampai menjadi produk yang memiliki fungsi. Sehingga desain produk dianggap sebagai tindakan inisisatif manusia dalam memecahkan maslah dengan menggunakan karya. Anak usia dini merupakan anak yang memiliki perkembangan dan dapat dipengaruhi oleh lingkungannya. Pengetahuan anak usia dini mengenai suatu profesi akan juga dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan sekitarnya. Sehingga setiap anak akan memiliki perbedaan sudut pandang mengenai suatu profesi. Dengan adanya pemberian informasi mengenai keilmuan desain produk atau profesi desainer produk maka anak usia dini dapat mengetahui adanya profesi tersebut sehingga dalam waktu dekat, profesi tersebut dapat lebih diperhatikan dan dikenal khususnya anak usia dini. Penggunaan karya desain dan melalui pengenalan profesi kepada anak usia dini. Akan berpengaruh kepada bertambahnya pengetahuan mengenai adanya profesi dan keilmuan desain produk. Sehingga dalam waktu kedepan, profesi dan keilmuan desain produk akan mulai dikenal lebih luas. Selain itu pemanfaatan produk tempat pensil sebagai alat promosi juga menjadikan adanya peluang bagi Masyarakat untuk dapat mengnal produk tidak hanya dari fungsinya saja namun dapat menjadiknnya salah satu alat promosi. Sehingga dari suatu produk dapat menghadirkan peluang lain yang dapat dikembangkan oleh masyarakat secara individu ataupun kelompok.

Abstract

Background: Looking at developments in vocational schools, vocational schools in profile are education at the secondary level which has the aim of developing the skills possessed by female students. Basically, in this vocational school, skills are still obtained as a result of the direct learning process every day at the school. Then graduating students can immediately enter industry. The aim of this research is training in making joint techniques for wall lock kapstok products for vocational school students and female students. Training method for making joint techniques on wall lock kapstok products for vocational school students and students. First of all, through the preparation of reference images, the drawing process, the design process and the capstock making process (hemming process, forming process, engraving, finishing materials. There were 15 vocational school students participating. Results: Vocational school students understood the training in making joint techniques in Wall lock kapstok products Conclusion: So the training activity for making joint techniques on wall lock kapstok products for vocational school students and students is an activity that can raise existing problems, especially for vocational school students who previously knew about design science but Finally, we can produce functional Kapstok products.

Abstract

Background: Screen printing is one of the printing techniques that is quite developed in society. Digital printing is an activity of printing images using sophisticated machines in the form of printers. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of gradient screen printing techniques on media materials based on digital printing from the design of a literature review. Method: This research method is with a literature review design. Source: four scientific databases used to obtain relevant sources based on the problems of applying gradient screen printing techniques to media materials based on printing technology. Search: The search was conducted on publications between 2019 and 2024 with the keyword gradient screen printing. Study selection: A search of research journals on ProQuest, IEEE Xplore, Emerald insight, Google Scholars found a total of 96,229 data results. After that, the results were classified again into 6,407 journal sources. After that, it was classified in the last 5 years, namely 2019 to 2024, which was 3,656 results. After a special reclarification on the application of gradient screen printing techniques on media materials based on printing technology, 6 data were obtained. Data analysis: The results of the research discussed used a special conceptual approach that analyzed a framework to achieve goals using the PRISMA method. Conclusion: Based on various research articles discussed, it can be concluded that the application of gradient screen printing techniques on media materials based on printing technology is one of the screen printing techniques that is quite popular, especially in the world of modern clothing design today. Gradient screen printing based on printing technology is a technique for printing designs on fabrics with a blend of colors that flow (gradation) from one color to another smoothly.

Abstract

Background: The spices turmeric and dragon fruit are daily human needs. Natural dyes have beautiful and distinctive colors that are difficult to imitate with synthetic dyes. Natural dyes can be used as a basis for screen printing techniques. Screen printing is a printing technique using a template. Purpose: mixing natural dyes turmeric and dragon fruit to apply screen printing techniques. Research method: experimental research. In this research, the natural dyes of turmeric and dragon fruit were mixed to apply the screen printing technique. Firstly, by collecting natural materials and reinforcing rubber. Next, make the dough until a strong dough is produced. After obtaining the water content in the dough. Next, screen printing is carried out onto fabric media. Findings: After mixing the natural dyes turmeric and dragon fruit to apply the screen printing technique, it shows that the color strength is very significant on the fabric media. Implication: mixing the natural dyes turmeric and dragon fruit for the application of screen printing techniques is very important to study and use as material. For future researchers, the theme we have taken here is that the originality is very strong, especially in the part about mixing the natural dyes turmeric and dragon fruit for the application of screen printing techniques. Become an evidence base in scientific development, especially in product design courses.
