Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dapat sejalan dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran. Salah satu hasil dari perkembangan teknologi ialah augmented reality. Augmented reality sebagai media pembelajaran dinilai akan memberikan nilai lebih terhadap pembelajaran karena bersifat interaktif dan menggabungkan dunia nyata dengan dunia maya. Pembuatan augmented reality ini dilakukan dalam materi pahlawan nasional yang sudah ditetapkan yakni Soekarno, Mohammad Hatta, Pattimura, Ki Hajar Dewantara, dan Soedirman. Rumusan masalah yang ditetapkan ialah bagaimana pembuatan augmented reality sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi pahlawan nasional. Tujuan penulisan ialah untuk mengetahui pembuatan augmented reality sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi pahlawan nasional. Tahapan pembuatan yang dilakukan ialah melalui tahap praproduksi, tahap produksi, dan tahap pascaproduksi. Simpulan yang ditemukan ialah pembuatan augmented reality ini dapat membantu guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran sehingga pembelajaran lebih bermakna.

Abstract

Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu dari banyaknya kota di Indonesia dengan jumlah wisatawan terbanyak. Banyaknya objek wisata yang ada di kota ini, membuat kota ini semakin ramai pengunjung. Wisata kuliner adalah salah satunya. Selain dikenal dengan tempat wisata dan budayanya, Yogyakarta juga dikenal banyak beragam kuliner yang bisa dinikmati wisatawan. Kuliner adalah salah satu incaran para wisatawan. Kota ini memiliki beragam jenis dan tempat kuliner. Mulai dari warung kecil, hingga restoran modern yang besar. Tetapi masih banyak kuliner Yogyakarta yang belum dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Karena belum semua wisatawan mengunjungi dan mencoba satu persatu berbagai jenis kuliner. Metode yang digunakan penulis dalam penulisan tugas akhir ini yaitu metode survei menggunakan media Google Form dan studi pustaka. Dalam upaya memperluas akses pengetahuan masyarakat, maka penulis bermaksud untuk mengembangkan website dinamis yang berisi informasi-informasi tentang kuliner Yogyakarta yang bertujuan agar kuliner khas Yogyakarta semakin dikenal masyarakat oleh luas. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan website dinamis yang memberikan manfaat untuk mengenalkan budaya kuliner Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how reflection on empowering civic communities serves as a forum for strengthening civic engagement, particularly in the realms of political voice and civic activity. Civic engagement is a significant aspect of the discourse on cultivating smart and good citizen, especially given the technological advances that can optimize widely recognized and accessible digital platforms. This study employs a phenomenological method with a qualitative approach to explore the reflections of civic communities on enhancing civic engagement. Data collection involves interviews and documentation studies, with data analysis conducted using Atlas.ti. The results indicate that strengthening civic engagement through civic communities is grounded in the community's vision and movement patterns, particularly by leveraging digital platforms. For instance, the Bareng Warga Community uses change.org to conduct online petitions as a form of political voice, while the Nusa Bumi Lestari Community utilizes kitabisa.com for crowdfunding as a form of civic activity. Additionally, the collaboration and networking among civic communities play a crucial role in reinforcing civic engagement, enabling citizens to be dedicated and committed to achieving the common good.

Abstract

This research aims to reflect on citizenship campaigns as a means of community civics to strengthen civic engagement through a qualitative approach and phenomenological methods. Participant reflections emphasize how civic engagement manifests in civic activity and political voice through community civics, particularly concerning the socio-cultural dimensions of civic education, which align with the goals of fostering smart and good citizenship. Civic activity is associated with philanthropic movements, while political voice relates closely to political aspirations aimed at influencing policy. This reflection on citizenship campaigns serves as a channel for community civics, enhancing civic engagement in the form of both civic activity and political voice related to the public good and public interest. Campaigns can act as tools for persuasion and the dissemination of ideas that promote the development of citizen attributes. Furthermore, this study enriches the understanding of civic communication which is intrinsically linked to how citizens behave, engage, and participate in civic issues relating to the meaning of aspects of communication and use of media.

Abstract

Objective: This research will reveal how the Village Community Empowerment Program/Program Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa (P2MD) is implemented as community-based learning to foster civic engagement. Community-based learning creates opportunities for real learning experiences for students and builds connections between higher education institutions and the community to address societal problems and achieve the public good. Method: This study is qualitative and employs a phenomenological methodology. Data collection techniques include interviews and documentation studies. The participants are students from the Multimedia Student Association of the State Polytechnic of Creative Media, implementing P2MD in 2023. Results: The research results reflect students' engagement as citizens in addressing societal issues to achieve the public good, focusing on the waste bank management program. This program also promotes community empowerment in a participatory manner. Students' citizenship attributes include altruism, leadership, communication, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration. Novelty: This study underlines the importance of critical reflection as an integral part of the learning process. By exploring the experiences of students involved in community activities, this study provides new insights into how community-based learning can develop critical thinking skills and effective communication skills.

Abstract

Perkembangan kehidupan dunia yang dinamis memberikan konsekuensi terhadap kemunculan konsepsi warga global terkait peran, kedudukan, dan partisipasinya. Konteks tersebut juga berhubungan dengan isu-isu global yang terkait dengan nilai-nilai kemanusiaaan. Upaya tersebut dapat disrespons melalui pendidikan, khususnya pendidikan kewarganegaraan (PKn). Rumusan yang dikemukakan dalam penulisan artikel ini ialah: 1. Bagaimana konsepsi warga global beserta isu-isu global yang menyertainya? dan 2. Bagaimana PKn dilaksanakan sebagai upaya pembentukan warga global yang humanis? Dalam implementasinya, warga global tidak bisa dilepaskan dari isu-isu global yang akan mempengaruhi persepsinya mengenai kehidupan global. PKn dapat dilaksanakan sebagai wadah bagi pengembangan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan yang toleran untuk menjamin kehidupan bersama yang harmonis dengan implementasi pilar-pilar pendidikan dan mengakomodir kecakapan abad 21 dan diharapkan mampu mengembangkan warga negara dari segi civic literacy untuk memiliki kemelekan terhadap isu-isu yang dinamis, civic responsibility untuk memiliki tanggungjawab terhadap hidup bersama yang harmonis, civic action untuk memiliki kehendak untuk bertindak dalam menyikapi isu-isu global, civic engagement untuk memiliki keterkaitan dengan kehidupan global dan isu-isu terkait, dan civic values untuk memiliki kepedulian pada nilai-nilai kemanusiaan. The formation of the concept of global citizens in terms of their responsibilities, positions, and involvement is impacted by the dynamic evolution of world life. The context is also relevant to universal problems with human ideals. Education, especially civics education, can counteract this endeavor. In order to create compassionate global citizens, two formulations were put out in the composition of this article: 1. What is the conception of global citizens and the corresponding worldwide issues? and 2. How is civic education implemented? Global issues that will influence citizens' perspectives of global living cannot be isolated from in its implementation. Civics can be used as a platform for the growth of understanding human values to maintain a peaceful shared existence. With the implementation of the pillars of education and accommodating 21st century skills, is expected to be able to develop citizens in terms of civic literacy to have literacy for dynamic issues, civic responsibility to have responsibility for living together in harmony, civic action to have the will to act in addressing global issues, civic engagement to have a connection with global life and related issues, and civic values to have concern for human values.

Abstract

Tulisan ini berusaha untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana kampanye kewarganegaraan dapat dilakukan sebagai pendidikan politik untuk menguatkan keterlibatan warga negara. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini ialah: (1) bagaimana penguatan keterlibatan warga negara yang dilakukan melalui kampanye kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan politik?, dan (2) bagaimana atribut kewarganegaraan melalui kampanye kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan politik?. Metode yang digunakan ialah literature review untuk mengkaji kampanye kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan politik dalam menguatkan keterlibatan warga negara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kampanye kewarganegaraan sebagai strategi komunikasi persuasif dapat menjadi sarana pendidikan politik dalam menguatkan keterlibatan warga negara terutama melalui framing dan priming suatu pesan yang bersifat edukatif dan mendorong keterlibatan warga negara serta tranmisi nilai-nilai kewargaan. Kampanye kewarganegaraan sebagai pendidikan politik juga dapat mengembangkan atribut warga negara, terutama dengan persona trailblazer dan sebagai dynamo dalam menjalankan kampanye kewarganegaraan yang sarat dengan pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan politik yang mumpuni.   This paper aims to demonstrate how citizenship campaigns can serve as a form of political education to enhance civic engagement. The research addresses the following questions: (1) How is citizen involvement strengthened through citizenship campaigns as political education? and (2) How are citizenship attributes developed through these campaigns? The methodology employed is a literature review that examines the role of citizenship campaigns as political education in promoting civic engagement. The findings indicate that citizenship campaigns, as a persuasive communication strategy, can effectively function as political education, particularly by framing and priming educational messages to encourage citizen participation and the transmission of civic values. Furthermore, citizenship campaigns can foster the development of citizen attributes, especially by cultivating a trailblazer persona and dynamism in executing campaigns that encompass knowledge, attitudes, and skills.

Abstract

Defending the state is the right as well as the obligation of citizens. Nevertheless, defending the state is often simplified as militaristic, but it can also be done through formal educational means. Civic Education (PKn) is one medium to develop the spirit of defending the state. This article attempts to examine the mapping of the linear values ​​of state defense with Civic Education (PKn) subject in university. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature study and documentation study. The results show that the value of state defense in Civic Education (PKn) is the value of love of the homeland which is learned through the material of national identity and the insight of the archipelago; the values ​​of national and state consciousness which are learned through the obligations and rights of the state and citizens, the constitutional values ​and norms of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, and the democracy of Indonesia; loyalty to Pancasila as state ideology is learned through the material of Pancasila; and the value of sacrificing for the nation and state are taught through law enforcement materials that are just and national defense and state defense. While learning is designed to actualize the values ​​of state defense through cooperative learning, inquiry, and contextual learning.

Abstract

Rural women farmers in developing countries often face significant challenges in scaling their businesses due to conventional management practices and limited access to digital markets. In Wonosari Village, the Women Farmers Group (KWT) possessed abundant local resources like coffee and vegetables but suffered from low added value and lack of professional organizational structures. This study aims to evaluate the impact of a comprehensive intervention focusing on digital transformation and value-added strategies to empower the KWT Wonosari toward entrepreneurial independence. A participatory action research (PAR) approach was employed, involving 50 members of KWT Wonosari. The intervention included intensive workshops on product innovation, digital marketing integration via Instagram and TikTok, branding development, and the implementation of standardized financial reporting and operational procedures (SOP). Data were collected through field observations, pre-and post-training assessments, and qualitative interviews. The findings indicate a significant shift in the members' mindset from subsistence farming to a professional entrepreneurial orientation. The program successfully established a formal organizational structure, generated new value-added processed products, and created a robust digital presence with integrated visual branding. Furthermore, the implementation of simple accounting systems enhanced financial transparency and accountability within the group. This study demonstrates that the synergy between academic expertise and community participation is a critical driver for overcoming the digital divide in rural areas. These results contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8 by promoting inclusive economic growth and decent work through community-based digital empowerment.
