Bioavaibilitas merupakan jumlah obat yang masuk kedalam sirkulasi sistemik setelah obat diberikan secara oral. Hal ini berhubungan dengan efek terapi obat yang dihasilkan. Obat-obat yang memiliki bioavaibilitas rendah maka efek terapi yang dihasilkan sedikit. Salah satu yang menyebabkan hal ini adalah P-glycoprotein (p-gp). P-glycoprotein (p-gp) merupakan anggota dari superfamili transporter ATP binding cassette (ABC) yang berfungsi untuk memompa efluks dari transmembran, pompa tersebut salah satunya berada dalam epitel usus. Hal ini merupakan salah satu masalah serius dalam penemuan obat karena akan membatasi penyerapan obat baru sehingga mempengaruhi bioavaibilitas suatu obat.Kata Kunci : P-glycoprotein (p-gp), Bioavaibilitas, Efek Terapi.

The Effect of Giving Extract African Catfish Meat (Clarias Gariepinus) on the Length of Time for Cuts Healing Process among White Male Wistar Rats (Rattus norvegicus) Pidyastuti Pakaya; Rini Daud Supu; Multiani S. Latif

African catfish is one of the freshwater fish with high albumin which plays a role in the process of new cell formation, so that, it can help the process of cell growth and can accelerate the healing of damaged skin cells due to an incision. This study aims to find out the effect of giving extract African Catfish meat on the length of time for the cuts healing process and the dose of African catfish extract that can provide the best effect in the cut healing process is given orally. This research is a laboratory experimental study with a cross-sectional research design with a post-test only control group design using 20 white rats as research subjects which were divided into a 25 ml dose treatment group, 50 ml, and 75 ml/200 grBB rats and negative control. Observations of cuts healing were carried out macroscopically with the parameters of reduced redness and edema and measuring the length of the incision using a ruler. Data analysis used the Kruskal walis test and post hoc test, the results of the analysis showed that there was a significant difference (p<0.05) between the negative control group and the P1, P2, and P3 groups. This shows that African Catfish meat extract affects wound healing. The P3 group (75 ml extract) had more effect on the cuts healing process than the P1 group (50 ml extract) and the P2 group (50 ml extract).

Peningkatan kesehatan pada masyarakat sudah menjadi tugas kita semua, terutama tenaga mendis. Kolaborasi antara tenaga medis dan penunjang medis dilaksanakan oleh tim Apotek Nabila Farma dalam program pemeriksaan dan Pengobatan Gratis di wilayah Jalan Gelatik, Keluarahan Heledulaa, Kota Gorontalo,Provinsi Gorontalo. Prorgram ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan terhadap masyarakat, pengumuman disampaikan melalui landmark terdekat di Apotek Nabila Farma, selanjutnya masyarakat yang mengikuti program ini mengikuti olahraga senam zumba untuk meningkatkan jasmani, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan skrining kesehatan oleh perawat, diagnosis penyakit oleh dokter, dan pemberian obat serta multivitamin oleh Apoteker dan asisten apoteker. Masyarakat diberikan makanan bergizi dan informasi terkait kesehatan setelah mengikuti program tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, masyarakat paling banyak menderita penyakit degenaratif dan Hipertensi persentasi terbesar dengan angka 40%, kemudian diikuti oleh kolesterol 27%, Diabetes Mellitus 24% dan Asam urat 9%. Program pemeriksaan dan pengobatan gratis seperti ini perlu dilaksanakan secara berkala guna meningkatkan mutu kesehatan di Kota Gorontalo.

Penyebaran Covid-19 di Kota Gorontalo turun naik untuk setiap bulannya. Vaksinasi dosis 1 dan 2 menjadi salah satu program pemerintah dalam peningkatan kekebalan tubuh terhadap penyebaran virus covid 19. Melaui Program Vaksinasi oleh KNPI (Komite Nasional Pemuda Indonesia) Gorontalo, dan tenaga medis lainnya, Ikatan Apoteker Indonesia Kota Gorontalo mengambil peran dalam Pemberian Multivitamin dan masker medis. Metode yang digunakan yaitu interaksi langsung dengan masyrakat melalui praktik kefarmasian dengan memberikan pelayanan Informasi Obat Multivitamin yang berfungsi sebagai peningkat kekebalan tubuh dan pemberian masker medis disamping pemberian vaksinasi di masa Pandemik virus Covid-19.Hasil dari kegiatan ini masyarakat terbantu pemahamanya berupa pentingnya mengkonsumsi multivitamin di era pandemic, dan pentingnya infomasi tentang cara penggunaan multivitamin yang tepat untuk memperoleh hasil terapi yang maksimal , serta pengunaan masker medis untuk mencegah penularan droplet virus Covid-19 melalui udara yang dihirup.

Vaksin Covid-19 mulai beredar setelah virus SARS CoV-2 melanda dunia, Pemberian Vaksin Covid- 19 ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kekebalan tubuh manusia dari serangan virus SARS CoV-2. Pro dan Kontra beredar dimasyarakat membuat kegelisahan untuk melaksanakan Vaksin Covid-19. Ikatan Apoteker Indonesia (IAI) melalui Program Apoteker Selalu Terpecaya Untuk Kesehatan Anda, yang dirangkaikan dengan World Pharmacist Day Tahun 2021 diwakili Oleh Apoteker Kota Gorontalo berkunjung di Jurusan Farmasi, Fakultas Olahraga dan Kesehatan Universitas Negeri Gorontalo untuk melaksanakan program edukasi vaksin tersebut. Metode edukasi dilaksanakan dengan model pembelajaran langsung, mahasiswa diberikan kuesioner dengan dua tahap, yaitu Pre-Kuesioner dan Post Kuesioner. Materi diberikan setelah Pre-Kuesioner dengan tujuan untuk melihat perbedaan pemahaman setelah diberikan edukasi. Tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa meningkat secara signifikan setelah diberikan edukasi, yaitu dari total presnetasi 30% menjadi 90%. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut, pemberian Edukasi kepada mahasiswa tentang vaksin Covid-19 sangat perlu, untuk mengantisipasi penyerapan informasi vaksin Covid-19 yang berkembang di dunia maya melalui jejaring internet, khususnya melalui media sosial.

This study aims to formulate cayenne pepper leaf extract (Capsicum frutescens L.) as an anti-acne to spray preparation and to determine the effect of the formulation of cayenne pepper leaf extract (Capsicum frutescens L.) as an anti-acne on the characterization of spray preparations. The method used in this study is experimental (laboratory experiments) based on differences in the concentration of carbopol bases in each formula. The carbopol concentrations were: Formula I (0.5%), Formula II (1%), Formula III (2%). The results showed that in the characterization test of the spray preparation of cayenne pepper leaf extract (Capsicum frutescens L.) physically cannot be made in spray dosage form because the results obtained still leave color and are not clear when viewed from the terms of the preparation, but the physical stability of the preparation for formula I, formula II and formula III from the results of the parameters of the preparation characterization test, statistical data analysis with one sample T.Test where the significance value of P 0.05 indicates that there is an effect on the characterization of the preparation.

Carbopol 940 is a gelling agent that is very communly used in cosmetic production because of its high compatibility and stability, and it is non-toxic when applied to the skin and it spreads on the skin more easilym gels are semi solid preparations that contain a gel-forming agent which gives stiffiness to collodial solutions or dispersions used for external use on the skin, gel preparations are widely chosen because they are very easy to apply ( easily smeared, absorbed, and cleaned) and more attractive (transparent) compared to the other topical preparations. the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of carbopol concentration 940 as a gelling agent on the physical stability of aloe vera gel preparations. this study began with optimization of the carbopol 940 gel base then the preparation formulation used 50% aloe vera extract, 0,5% carbopol 940 F1, 1 % F2, 2% F3, 10 % propylene glycol, 10% glycerine, 0,1% dm dm hydantoin and sufficient aquadest, afterward the evaluation of the preparation included organoleptic, observations, homogeneity tests, pH tests, spreadability tests, adhesion tests and viscosity tests. carbopol 940 was depeloped using co-free water. gel preparations were 0,5%, 1%, and 2%. the results showed that the thrid formulation (F3) with a concentration of 2% fulfilled the physical evaluation requirements for organoleptic, spreadability, adhesion, viscosity, pH and homogeneity tests.
