Abstract

The existing book provided by the government did not meet student's background knowledge and conditions. It less of learning activities which does not engage the students to take a part in the learning process. To overcome this problem, this study aims to integrate the Tanimbar culture as a local wisdom in learning, by developing digital textbook as a learning resource. The research carried out of a Research and Development method by applying ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model. The result of the developed of English Digital text book showed that:  Expert’s validation result of the developed materials was at good level, visual design was at exemplary level. Teacher’s validation of result of the developed materials was at excellent level, visual design was at exemplary level. Small group try –out showed that majority of them stated that the materials were very helpful for them in learning English. The result of the effectiveness of an English Digital Textbook based on Tanimbar local wisdom was seven students get excellent score, twenty two students get good score, one student gets fair score. Thus, it can concluded that the textbook was useful as guidance to enhance students’ knowledge toward local materials of Tanimbar.Abstrak Buku yang disediakan pemerintah saat itu tidak sesuai dengan latar belakang pengetahuan dan kondisi siswa. Kurangnya kegiatan pembelajaran yang tidak melibatkan siswa untuk mengambil bagian dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan budaya Tanimbar sebagai kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran, dengan mengembangkan buku teks digital sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode Research and Development dengan menerapkan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation). Hasil pengembangan buku teks Bahasa Inggris Digital menunjukkan bahwa: Hasil validasi ahli terhadap materi yang dikembangkan berada pada tingkat baik, desain visual berada pada tingkat keteladanan. Validasi guru terhadap hasil materi yang dikembangkan berada pada tingkat sangat baik, desain visual berada pada tingkat keteladanan. Uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas dari mereka menyatakan bahwa materi tersebut sangat membantu mereka dalam belajar bahasa Inggris. Hasil keefektifan Buku Teks Digital Bahasa Inggris berbasis kearifan lokal Tanimbar adalah tujuh siswa mendapat nilai sangat baik, dua puluh dua siswa mendapat nilai baik, dan satu siswa mendapat nilai cukup. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku ajar ini bermanfaat sebagai pedoman untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa terhadap materi lokal Tanimbar.

Abstract

Local wisdom is seen as relevant to mathematics learning, because local wisdom is a cultural product which includes philosophy, values, norms, ethics, rituals, beliefs, habits, customs, and so on. Mathematical concepts introduce children to different ideas, beliefs, values, and cultures and even relate to teaching children values and attitudes. The local wisdom (culture) found in the Tanimbar Islands Regency is Tanimbar woven cloth, wickerwork, traditional houses, fine art statues and ancestral relics. The culture found in the Tanimbar Islands Regency contains aspects of mathematics that can be used as a learning resource by educators and students. This indicated local wisdom (culture) can be used as a source of material and values which can be used as a basis for direction of action and behavior in everyday life. Therefore, one of the appropriate strategies in dealing with problems that occur in learning is to explore the local wisdom of Tanimbar in developing mathematics textbooks. The learning book developed is deemed to be in accordance with the needs in the field based on local wisdom such as mathematical aspects found in Tanimbar woven cloth, wickerwork, Tanimbar traditional houses, fine art statues and preserved ancestral relics. Researchers believe that models developed based on local wisdom can improve the quality of mathematics learning in terms of students' knowledge and attitudes.

Abstract

Implementasi Teknologi Pendidikan seperti aplikasi GeoGebra, guru SMA di Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar dapat lebih efektif mendukung pembelajaran matematika yang berpusat pada siswa, memfasilitasi keterlibatan aktif siswa, dan membantu mereka mencapai pemahaman matematika yang lebih baik. Ini sesuai dengan visi Platform Merdeka Mengajar dalam mendukung praktik pembelajaran inovatif dan berbasis teknologi bagi pendidik di Indonesia, khususnya di Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar. Selain itu terlihat dampak dari kegiatan tersebut dimana terdapat peningkatan ketrampilan mitra melalui tes untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Dari ketiga masalah yang berikan pada saat tes akhir yang diikuti oleh 26 peserta didik, terdapat 20 peserta didik telah mempunyai kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang lebih dominan yaitu dapat mengidentifikasikan aspek-aspek yang diketahui dan yang ditanyakan dan menentukan apakah aspek-aspek tersebut cukup untuk menyelesaikan masalah, Menggabungkan komponen-komponen yang telah ditanyakan dan diketahui serta merumuskannya menjadi model matematika, memilih metode untuk mengatasi masalah, bekerja sama untuk memecahkan masalah matematika dan mengkonfirmasikan bahwa jawabannya benar dan akurat, tetapi terdapat 6 peserta didik yang masih merasa kesulitan dalam menggambarkan grafik fungsi polynomial secara manual.

Abstract

The Tanimbar Islands Regency still has a high prevalence of stunting in toddlers, so we must work together to eradicate it. According to WHO, the prevalence of stunting should not exceed 20%. According to data from the 2021 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI), the prevalence of stunting in toddlers is currently 25.1% in the Tanimbar Islands District, Maluku Province. The purpose of this study was to classify villages based on the indicators of the stunting service package in the Tanimbar Islands District. This research uses an analytic survey approach using secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of the Republic of Indonesia in 2022 and the Tanimbar Islands District Health Office in 2022 by utilizing the K-Means Algorithm. The stages of data analysis in this study consisted of library research, data collection, data processing, the K-Means algorithm. Furthermore, the last stage is to verify the data consisting of analysis of findings based on the theory used. At this analysis stage, the K-Means Clustering Method was also applied to classify villages in the Tanimbar Islands District based on the stunting service package. Research results based on analysis using the K-Means algorithm (Number of causes in each cluster) provide an overview of the number of clusters that enter each cluster. Cluster 1 consists of 20 villages, cluster 2 consists of 66 villages, cluster 3 consists of 1 village and cluster 4 consists of 1 village.
