Abstract

This paper explores the role of madrasah principals in fostering creativity and innovation among teachers at State Madrasah Aliyah in the Riau Islands Province. Through a qualitative research design, in-depth interviews and classroom observations were conducted with 15 principals and 30 teachers to examine the leadership strategies employed by principals in promoting innovative teaching practices. The study highlights the multifaceted approach of madrasah principals, encompassing professional development, collaborative teaching practices, and the integration of modern educational technologies to stimulate creativity among educators. Findings suggest that madrasah principals who emphasize continuous learning, open communication, and a culture of experimentation contribute significantly to the innovative capacity of teachers. Additionally, this research draws on Islamic educational values, referencing Qur’anic teachings and Hadith to provide a theoretical framework for leadership and creativity in Islamic educational settings. The study contributes to the growing body of literature on educational leadership within Islamic institutions, offering practical insights into how leadership can enhance the quality of teaching and learning in madrasahs. The implications of these findings are discussed, with recommendations for policy and practice to further cultivate an environment conducive to creativity and innovation in madrasah education.

Abstract

This study explores the role of educators' work achievements in enhancing the competitive advantage of Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools in Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. This study involved 10 teachers and 3 school leaders from three Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools selected through purposive sampling. Drawing on qualitative case study methodology, the research investigates how professional development, innovative teaching practices, and leadership support contribute to institutional excellence. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis supported by NVivo 12 software. The findings reveal that continuous professional growth, the integration of technology-based pedagogical strategies, and transformational leadership significantly improve school competitiveness. The findings provide actionable strategies for policymakers and school leaders to implement structured professional development and leadership support systems. This study contributes to the theoretical discourse by aligning its findings with Competitive Advantage Theory, Human Capital Theory, and Innovation Theory.

Abstract

This article as a whole discusses the philosophy of science and the development of the epistemological construction of science. The construction of an epistemology of science is an in-depth effort to understand the nature, sources and limits of knowledge. Epistemology as a branch of philosophy plays a key role in detailing the process of understanding, forming and assessing knowledge. There is a close relationship between the philosophy of science and the development of science, because the philosophy of science has always been a benchmark in the development of science. The philosophy of science is the initial foundation for the formation of a developing scientific epistemology. Some developments in the epistemology of science cannot be separated from the well-developed foundation of the philosophy of science. The essence of modern science cannot be separated from the basics of the philosophy of science. Another factor that binds science is realism and idealism which are a strong basis for developing the construction of scientific epistemology in the era of modern civilization like now. Research methods are used to gain in-depth insight into document analysis. The analysis technique used is document study of previous research results that are related to the philosophy of science. Data collection was carried out by searching reading books, scientific journals published on Google Scholar, digital libraries and libraries. This research is very important to carry out because the philosophy of science is the mother of the development of existing science.
